Day 4 Of Riding Around The World – The Black Forest Germany
It’s day four of riding around the world. We woke up just outside of Strasburg, France. Grabbed a quick breakfast and crossed the Ryan River, leaving France behind and riding straight into Germany. It didn’t take long before the trees started closing in, and we were in the Black Forest. Our first stop was a special one, the Torch HQ. For over 30 years, this place has been part of the DNA of adventure motorcycleycling. Standing there surrounded by bikes and gear that’s crossed deserts, climbed mountains, and circled the globe. It hits you. You’re part of something bigger. Thousands of riders have stood here with dust on their boots and dreams in their heads, ready for their next adventure. After that, we rode deeper into the forest. The roads were unreal. Tight switchbacks, sweeping curves, the kind of terrain that makes you feel completely alive. The black forest has inspired stories for centuries. It’s where the brothers grim found many of their fairy tales. But by evening, we’d reach Laughenberg, a town on the border of Germany and Switzerland.
