THANK YOU, Gabriel! π
It was such a lovely surprise meeting you by chance in Nafplion. Iβm truly touched by your support and the mention in your videoβit means a lot! Sending warmest greetings from Athens! β
Been to Nafplio twice in the past 4 years, and it is truly gorgeous! You cannot imagine how crowded it gets in July and August! There is a nice sandy beach nearby, but beware if you swim with a cut or scab. The waters have some feisty little fish that nip at you (feels like a small pinch), especially if they sense it! Lastly, it's really great when you share some of your encounters with subscribers/fans! I enjoy the conversations you have with the locals and/or your fans, and the fact that you take the time to acknowledge them! Greetings from the Cleveland, Ohio burbs!
sun drenched bliss
Did you visit the archaelogical site of Mycenae? It's a beautiful site! Includes the incredible tomb of Agamemnon.
How is your Mom?
The Epidauros (pronounced: Eh-pee-dav-ros) Theater is world renowned as having the some of the best acoustics, and they have a festival every year there, with many live performers, presenters, and bands. Even Jethro Tull and Vangelis have supposedly played there!
4:40 kapodistrias is the main reason for the existence of the today Helvetic Republic … modern Switzerland
Lovely meeting oneβs fans, isnβt it?

The acoustics of this theater are more than superb. At 33:29, a mother can be heard telling her child, "Vangeli come here " without speaking in a loud way.I would say the opposite.
Anyway, Gabriel glad to see that you followed a few of my suggestions on your trip!
Thank you for this beautiful area and telling its history.
I would like to see a video, Gabriel, of you entailing how much YouTube pays you each month for your content, since this is your main line of work, if you wish to reveal. You uploaded a video approximating what you make awhile ago, however no specific numbers and totals were given.
Was there years ago, definitely not a bad place to hang out. Lots to do within a 1 hour or so drive (Corinth, Epidauros, Argos, Mycenae, etc). Ran the steps up to the fort a couple times ~9 minutes if I remember correctly. PS – You will enjoy Syracuse, Catania, and Taormina. Be sure to do the walk/hike up to Castelmola (I think that's the place).
Nafplion is awesome but lacking in infrastructure. Therefore long term, there may be better options
Gabriel when you gonna visit Creta?
Kalamata is beautiful city.
What did you eat at the end of this video and how much was your good looking meal, please?
Gabriel,In 3,4 miles W, NW of Nafplio is the Pyramid of Elliniko.
Nice video cool to see fans while shooting
It's a small world!
I loved Volos and surrounding villages in the Pelion mts. Makrinitsa and zagora etc.
Nafplio is the best
1:54 Car parked right on the crosswalk π Must be a different type of town
When you went to Ioannina you didn't even go to the lakeside, so interesting you mention it because you didn't even see the bare minimum of that city. One of your sloppiest, most rushed, and overall worst videos actually. Same with Kastoria.
Very nice and beautiful video. Stayed in a Hotel at 8:28 Epoch House for my Birthday this March. It was wonderful. Before go, I watched everything that Gabriel had about Greece at that moment, didn't find Peloponnese, that's because we were there 2 months apart π
More gorgeous churches and landscapes, and views of the sea in Greece! Nafplio looked more busy than any of the other towns Gabriels has visited so far!
I wonder what that was he had on his plate at the end of the video? It didn't look like anything I recognize.
How fun to meet not just one, but two subscribers!
Interesting point you made that the Greeks didn''t commit atrocities in their theaters like the Romans did.' They focused on theater and not feeding Christians to the lions..Neighboring countries but very different back then.
We spent 4 days in Napflion earlier this year and absolutely loved it. Totally underrated.
