As a coffee lover and coffee shop/coffee house hopper with a zest for quaint to modern coffee shops/coffee houses all over the world, Frederick is on a quest to travel the world and document his conversations with coffee shop/coffee house owners, experience a day in the life of baristas, kick it with other coffee lovers and simply embrace the comforting ambience of local coffee shops and coffee houses.

Frederick’s love for coffee shops began in 2001 when he visited Montignac, a small village in the south of France. It was actually a tiny bookstore that sold coffee. The aged ambience and tranquility with the smell of coffee brewing and the crackling sounds of paper turning in the books of readers is an instance he would never forget.
