Lufthansa Business Class Is A Mess (even with Allegris)
Welcome to what might be Europe’s Best
or the World’s Best Business Class Seat. What is going on? I tried the best and worst seats in
Lufthansa’s new Allegris business class. Now, it’s no secret that I think
Lufthansa has among the worst business class experiences of
any major airline in the world. Not only are the seats you’ll find on the majority of
their fleets so outdated that it’s frankly embarrassing, but it’s the soft product,
the food, the service, the amenities that truly put them at the bottom of my lists. After almost a decade of delays, a few
lucky Lufthansa passengers are now finally getting to try their brand new custom Allegris business class seat,
which promises to be a massive improvement over the existing
experience, which isn’t that hard to be fair. Unfortunately, my conclusion
stands that Lufthansa business class is to put it nicely, not worth it, but at
least I now have a few nice things to say. In fact, crazily enough, Lufthansa might
now have the world’s best business class seats for 20% of Allegris’s passengers. So come with me Dan, a full-time
airline reviewer who has flown over 160 airlines on my own dime, sharing my honest, unbiased
takes with you to help you choose an airline that actually cares
about your flight experience. Does Lufthansa care? Well, let’s dive in
and see what you think. I’m feeling quite nostalgic ’cause
I haven’t been at Frankfurt Airport early in the morning since I was probably a teenager. I used to fly through
Frankfurt every single time I was going to visit my dad who lived in
New York when I was growing up in Sweden. This was my go-to transfer spot. We’d be here during the sunrise looking
at the 747s out the window and, uh, yeah, it’s been a while. If young Dan could see his older
self flying business class, he would be over the moon. The problem is he’d see me being
quite picky because I’ve been lucky to fly so many business
class products through my job that comparisons become unavoidable.
At the time this video goes out, Lufthansa only offers their new
business class out of Munich, so step one is getting there. A quick 35 minute hop later. So here’s the deal. I have not flown Lufthansa business
class in over three years – long haul, which is a crazy long time for me since Lufthansa is my most flown
airline distance wise. I used to fly them all the time, but then I had a series of flights where
it just got worse and worse. You might’ve seen my video from 2022 where
I absolutely hammered Lufthansa business. Of course, that was their old
seat, which is still available on 95% of their long-haul aircraft. But today we are gonna try the latest
and greatest seat from Lufthansa to see how things have changed. Of course, I’m curious about
the seat, but where Lufthansa really lets you down is usually soft product. We just left the lounge, which I gotta
say isn’t looking very inspiring. There’s a lot of improvements
that could be made there. In fact, I think most things
could be improved significantly. But when it comes to the onboard
experience, we’ll just have to hop on board and find out if
Lufthansa is serious about this. I know they’re making some changes to
their soft product later this year, so hopefully with that, assuming I think
this seat is great, Lufthansa will once again be at least semi-competitive. It’s no secret that Lufthansa business
and Senator lounges make London Luton seem luxurious at this point. I can’t believe there are
no firm plans to completely revamp these in the Allegris era. I’ll leave you with these shots
of the food for your enjoyment. Anyway, here is our lovely
Allegris equipped bird. You gotta love the A350 with her eyeliner. Still less eyeliner than a certain
VP, but that’s neither here nor there. I have flown a Lufthansa
Allegris equipped aircraft before on this exact route, just two
months ago when I flew their Allegris First Class which was one of the best flights I’ve taken in a very long time. Absolutely incredible. Lufthansa First Class has always been amazing. It’s their business class and
below the sort of disappoint. So just outta curiosity, at the gate
I asked what the upgrade price would be to First. They said you cannot
upgrade on this flight, even though there are seats available in first. Good to know. And also just for your intel, they
were offering upgrades from economy to premium economy for 200 euros on an
eight hour flight, which is incredible. And then economy to business
for around €600 to €700, he said so again, not bad… Nevermind, I don’t know what I was saying. €600 to €700 is quite bad and I’ll
teach you to buy a business class ticket for that price without even needing to
upgrade at my Points Master program, which you can check out below. So let’s head to the
gate and hop on board. Oh, and Oskar is here because we’re gonna try two completely
different Allegris seats. We’re gonna try the best and the worst. Guess who’s gonna be in which one? Hello. Gotta, you know, treat the
other half better than yourself. So. With that, let’s jump into the complicated
and messy Lufthansa Allegris seat map. This is where the insanity truly begins. Keep in mind, we’ve been waiting for
this seat since it was launched in 2017. On board, there are five entirely
different types of seats. First, we have our basic seats
closer to the aisle that anyone can assign free of charge. I’m in 6C today, one of
the free-to-assign seats in the forward cabin to give you a taste
of the worst Allegris has to offer. If you wanna select any of the
other seats you’ll have to pay. Let’s start with the extra long bed seats,
which are the worst value in my opinion, and a huge point of frustration for me. Why? Because these seats cost
between $116 and $196 to select, depending on your flight length. That’s one way! Yet they offer the same setup
as a free seat with the least privacy and space in the cabin. Besides having a slightly longer bed, the
worst part is that these seats are next to a neighboring seat, meaning that if you’re
traveling with someone else, there is no way for you to sit next to them without
paying to assign at least one seat. Next, we have the privacy seats
located close to the windows. These are the same price as
the extra long bed seats. I’ll be trying one of these
in addition to 6C. Next we have the extra space
seats costing between $150 and $265 US dollars to select per flight. Finally, the business suites, which there
are eight of on Lufthansa’s A350s costing an absurd amount that I’ll
share on board as I also get to try out 2A. In total on Lufthansa’s A350s, there are 38 business class seats. These share only two lavatories
for a lavatory ratio of one toilet to 19 passengers. This results in long queues
during some parts of the flight. Now without further ado, let’s see this complicated
cabin, shall we? So before I show you around – this
morning, I started my adventure at an airport hotel in Frankfurt,
and I will be ending my adventure at an airport hotel in Bangalore. If you’re planning a trip like this, or
maybe one that’s a bit less stressful, Let’s pause. Here we have a look at one of the two
extra space seats in the front cabin. Looks interesting, but for up to
$265 per flight, I’m not so sure. Next up, we have the
two seats in the center. The one on the left in this video
is free to select while the one on the right is an extra long bed
and costs up to $196 to select. It would be great to be able to select
these for free to sit together, but alas, no can-do amigo. Meanwhile, here are the privacy seats. More on those in a minute. We gotta settle into my seat 6C,
and see what type of level this is on. So welcome on board, Lufthansa
Allegris Business Class, the most awaited business class in the world. I’m currently sitting in the only seat
you can select for free, which is kind of by the windows, but also kind of not,
’cause you don’t have a window view. I’m gonna show you what this seat is like. I’m gonna show you what the suite 2A is like that costs an insane
amount to pre-select. Gonna talk about that as well. And then I’m also gonna show you what
row 7 is like, one of the privacy seats in the row behind me, which
also costs quite a bit to select, but luckily is open, available today. So we get to try three different
levels of seat from the worst to medium to the best. I’ll save the seat tour until
after takeoff so I can settle in. As one of the flight attendants comes
by with a tray of drinks, I happen to notice she isn’t smiling or saying a
word to any passengers as she does it. Sure enough, she comes up to me and holds
the tray with drinks out toward me without a word or any expression on her face. I smile and go, hi,
can I ask what this is? and I point at one of the colored drinks. An avionic. What’s that? A cocktail.
With what? Tonic water. I go “aaaand”.
She proceeds to just stare at me blankly. So I say I’ll just have the regular water, thank you. What a welcome moment. As we push back the crew
say “sorry to announce that the internet is not working, but we’re
making this announcement for you so you don’t feel disappointed.” Well, I imagine a lot of people are
disappointed right now because they’re telling us as we’re pushing back.
A bit too late to have a backup plan, right? What I don’t realize until later is
that this also means the in-flight map isn’t working, the safety video
isn’t working, so the crew have to do that manually, and even most of the seat controls aren’t working. I guess now is a good time to say if you
appreciate unfiltered aviation videos The A350 is a pleasure to fly. These videos obviously aren’t
taken from my original free seat 6C since that doesn’t have any windows.
I’ve moved back to 7A. But first I wanna show you ariund 6C, because this is what most people can expect. So this seat is perfectly fine. It’s not uncomfortable. It’s not cramped or anything like that. It’s also private. I can’t really see anyone else’s face
from my seat, so I’m happy about that. Of course, for me, as an aviation
geek, the biggest bummer is that you don’t really have a window view, but you do have quite a few views outside
on Lufthansa’s A350s. Check this out. As I mentioned in my Allegris first
class review, Lufthansa has the most exterior cameras of any A350 I’ve
ever been on, so you gotta love that. Now, let’s start with what this seat
has in common with all other Allegris seats. I love that the tray tables are
designed to allow you to exit the seats even while they’re in use. They’re also remarkably stable. Each seat also has a closable
closet, which houses your headphones and a water bottle. I don’t know why the headphone cable is
giving up on life and hanging out of every single seat upon boarding, but who cares? Certainly not Lufthansa’s cleaning crew. I love a light at the seat
and Lufthansa Allegris does have one as well as the same
tablet you’ll find in first class. This controls all types
of stuff in your seat. More on that shortly. Speaking of tech, all seats have charging
ports as well as USB-C, as you can USB-see. These seats closer to the aisle don’t
really have storage besides these surfaces to the side where your total of zero
windows offer great views of… nothing. It would’ve been so nice to at least align
these seats so that us poor folks who don’t wanna spend even more on top of our already expensive tickets can get a view
outside, but I guess that wasn’t possible. The conclusion on these basic
seats is that I don’t mind them, but they are drastically inferior
to all other seats in this cabin. They’re also inferior to most
business class seats being introduced in the second half of the 2020s. Let’s pack up my belongings and leave
our boring little small town seat for a mid-sized town seat where dreamers
move in search of something better. Welcome to the Gothenburg of
Lufthansa Allegris, the privacy seat. In this case 7A, which
is the best privacy seat of all. As you’ll see, I feel so lucky to be able
to move back here because this seat makes me realize that the last seat, although
lovely in the grand scheme of things, is not really a very spacious
or luxurious feeling seat. Here, I suddenly feel like, wow,
I have a lot more space. The amount of storage, the amount
of privacy, everything is just like a completely different product
from the seat right in front of me. I was mentally preparing to have
to sit in that seat, but now I feel much better to be able to sit here. Unfortunately, most people
won’t have that luxury since of course, Lufthansa hopes that
their flights will be full, and in that case, talk about a world’s
difference, just one row to the next. What makes this seat different? Well, first of all, windows.
You can see! Next, so much
more storage and space. This seat literally takes up twice as
much space as the one in front of it. This is specific to the last
row where you don’t have a seat behind that you have this
large side console and beneath it, a massive storage bin. The tray table is the biggest
in the whole cabin, and you can still easily exit while using it. All in all, I really like this
seat in terms of value for money. If you’re gonna pay for a seat, I
think this could be your best bet. This is also where I decide
to eat, so the service begins. So I didn’t get a menu until I asked so
I had no idea what the drink options were. Finally, I saw they have mango and
passion for juice, which sounds amazing. And tastes like tropical juice, which
I know Germans are obsessed with so very nice. We also have a bit of an olive, sundried
tomato and cheese, uh, amuse bouche I guess so there’s not one with my special
meal, but if you eat cheese, this looks actually pretty delicious. Two drinks. I’m all settled in here in
the back, in my privacy seat. I’m really excited to try the
suite though, at the front because that’s in another league,
but I’ll be fine here for now. I’m gonna read my book and settle it. Our menu today looks like this. It is typical Lufthansa. Either you love it or hate it. I’ve yet to meet anyone who loves
it, but I’m sure they exist. Probably Carsten Spohr must love it,
or at least he loves how little money they get away with paying for food. So my meal is here, all served on
one tray, um, including the dessert. I have my little amuse bouche here. So this is pretty much one of two
dishes that Lufthansa serves on all routes out of their hubs, even like
on a one hour flight within Europe. Actually yesterday I got this exact meal
flying from Scandinavia to Frankfurt. I got this exact dessert. I like the flavors, so that’s all fine. Let’s dig on in. Now I am being taken care of by a crew
member who seems to have good intentions. That said, she and almost every
other crew member does what many older Lufthansa crews love to
do – only speak to you in German. She asks if I want bread in
German, and I respond, I’m okay, thank you. To that, she responds again in German. I already ordered my
meals from her in English. Alright. Main course is here. Let’s see how it tastes. It tastes quite good, tastes better than
it looks. Before delivering my main course, there’s all types of weird things
from the crew at this point that I feel are unnecessary to bring
up because I sound whiny enough. But long story short, whether
it’s clearing away a lot of stuff before I finished it or not
giving me a spoon with my dessert, there is a clear lack of training
when it comes to Lufthansa’s crews, which is surprising because this
crew seems like they’ve been working there for a long time. I’m not really offered any top-ups
or more of anything, but I am offered the fruit plate from the regular menu,
which I accept as well as a green tea. Now, check out this fruit. Let’s play guess the fruit
in the tiniest fruit bowl I’ve seen possibly since KLM, which
also had a ridiculously tiny fruit bowl. I think this might be mango,
but it’s literally the palest shade of yellow I’ve ever seen. I really wonder who prepared this
because the mango is literally rock solid and has no flavor, like they just took any old mango and
said, let’s cut it up. Doesn’t make a difference. And the papaya, I would
say, is 10% better. Things get more interesting
when I realize Oskar got a different main course than I did. This will need to be investigated,
but not before we unbox our Porsche Design amenity kit.
Wuuuut! Even though it looks
like one of those heat blankets inside, the contents are not bad. This is a huge step up from
the last time I flew Lufthansa so it’s nice to see a minor
improvement besides the seat. The final thing I’m gonna do back here is a bed showdown.
7A is a fantastic bed. Now could the bedding be better? Yes, would I still sleep very well here? Yes. Obviously temperature is important
for sleep, and I’ll get to the temperature controls shortly. Okay. This is nice. Even 6C, although
more exposed and shorter, is a comfortable sleeping surface,
especially if you’re a side sleeper. Now, welcome to the big
leagues, my friends. The New York cities of Lufthansa,
Allegris seats – 7A, one of the business class suites. Let’s just start with
our bed, because why not? They give you a mattress pad here,
unlike in other seats, and just wait until you close your door. Now we’re living life. I just don’t think at this age, I’m meant to
live an uncomfortable life. Okay, now we’re talking. This is, I just gotta say it, it’s kind of crazy that I’m
saying this about Lufthansa, I kind of felt the same praising
Allegris first class, but this is the best business class
seat I’ve ever sat in. The wall, I’m pretty sure at least,
is higher than QSuite. The sense of privacy is insane. The sense of space, the amount of
storage… I have to show you around here, and I mean, look at our door. This is all so amazing. But the price tag makes me wonder, is it worth it? I don’t know. You tell me. So how much extra does
Lufthansa charge for this seat? It is actually pretty extortionate, in my opinion.
On their medium-long routes that will have Allegris, like this flight to
India, they charge 750 Canadian dollars ’cause I booked this via Air Canada,
so that’s what I was being charged. It’s around 550 or 600 US dollars for an eight hour flight on top
of your business class fare, and not even elite members, frequent
flyers, get to select this for free. So how am I sitting here? Because no way in the world I
would pay $600 for this seat. It is amazing but at that rate, roundtrip, you’re paying $1,200 then you’re getting into the territory
of thinking, well, should I just invest to fly an airline that’s better than
Lufthansa in pretty much every other way? Lufthansa’s soft product as we’ve
determined so far, is pretty lacking. So I had initially heard that you
could select any seat you want in the Allegris cabin when online check-in opens so I thought Great! I was on the website 30 hours before
departure when online check-in opens. The second it opened, I was there with the
visa information, passport information, entered it all, and to my disappointment when I got to the seat selection page,
Lufthansa still wanted to charge me to assign a seat – the same price as it
was earlier, so that was quite a flop. What’s interesting is that every
single suite in the cabin, so the first row, row 2, and then I
think it’s row 8 in the rear cabin, every single suite was empty. So not a single person
on this flight said yeah, that’s definitely worth €600
euros or whatever the currency conversions are that Lufthansa uses. So that meant that even when we
went to the airport to check in this seat was still unoccupied
’cause no one had paid to select it ’cause still no one
could select it for free. Only once we got to the airport were
we able to sit in this seat and choose the $600, 600 euro, whatever you want
to use, seat completely for free. And if you can do that, that
is where Lufthansa Allegris can get really sweet because now we’re enjoying what is basically
a first class seat on many airlines for the price of business class,
and not only the price of business class, but the price I paid using
what I teach in Points Master, where I basically got this flight… I’m gonna
put up on the screen here From Sweden all the way to India in business,
and now I’m here in this seat that would alone cost €600 to assign. Besides the huge amount of space,
the other biggest difference is that this seat has more storage than
you will ever know what to do with. It’s like 2A stole all the storage from 6C
and just to rub it in, the whole wall is covered in closets as well. I spend the next hour working as we
leave Greece behind and approach Egypt. Luckily, I’ve flown through this area
so many times that I can get my bearings without needing the broken in-flight map. Although there are only two lavatories
which often entails a wait, I’ve gotta say they are really nice. We’ve got some interesting amenities
in here, and the best amenity of all is the foot pedal, so you
don’t have to touch the trash can. The toilet also has a nice cover,
so strangely, the lavatories might be the most premium feeling part
of Lufthansa’s new business class. So the obvious problem with Allegris is
consistency because there’s everything from what I would say is a mediocre
business class seat for 2025, the first free seat that I was able to assign. Then you have a seat that is very good. I mean, definitely not one
of the best in the industry. I’d still say below the likes of
Finnair’s AirLounge, for example, but still very, very nice when I was
back there in row 7, but now I’m hear in this seat that is pretty much
the world’s best business class seat, at least the best one I’ve flown and it just… nothing makes sense. How on the same plane can you
have such wildly inconsistent experiences and it all hinges on who wants to pay more, but at the end of
the day, you could tell that the first seats to be chosen were the free ones. And the paid ones, especially these
premium ones, don’t really seem to appeal to people because you’ve
already paid a lot for your ticket. Do you then wanna pay an additional €600
on top of that to get this seat? You know, at this point I figure out
there’s been some sort of big meal mess up so I just end up telling a long story
that deserves to have its own video. But don’t worry, I won’t
make you endure that. Instead, I’ll save the story for the
end so everyone who comments that I’m a whiny little bitch has left by then. Outwide, we’re passing by the always
fascinating tri-country area where Jordan, Egypt, and Israel meet. Then the sun sets as we cruise
over Saudi Arabia, close to Al Ula, which I visited in 2022. Now that it’s dark, let’s talk
entertainment and seat controls. Your tablet is supposed to control
a lot of things, including your seat temperature, a feature that
actually works today, so does the seat firmness adjustment, another great feature. Sadly, most of the other seat
controls on the tablet do not work. You simply can’t press them, and the
crew tell me it doesn’t work yet. Is our lovely brand new Airbus
just a struggle bus right now? If the temperature controls don’t
work, which thankfully they do today, we at least have this individual
air vent installed at every seat. You also have a few lighting
controls on the tablet, and then we have our entertainment. The selection is fine, at least of movies,
while the TV shows are a bit more limited and given how much data an A350 can handle, It’s sad to see its
potential be underutilized. The best part of this system is
probably the Bluetooth connectivity. Whether you want to use your device
as a remote or connect Bluetooth headphones. The regular headphones
are greasy and are definitely not cleaned often, so keep that in mind. Before I know it, we’re less
than two hours from Bangalore and it is mea ltime again. So dinner, I guess?
Pre-landing meal is served. This looks nice, actually. A lot nicer than the
first meal, ironically. Let me dig in and give it a taste. It’s a nice curry. Not bad. Actually, I prefer this to the first
meal and we have a pretzel. Again, Oskar got an entirely different
meal while I got the same as a lot of other passengers, so there seems to
have been a catering mix up, and I’ll share my theory shortly. With that, we start our descent into Bangalore
and touchdown just after midnight. So you’d think this is an
Oskar and Dan video, but today, We’re on Nonstop Dan. We’re changing it up. Yeah. The plan is to be very brief here. The first thing I wanna explain is
about the meals, and to cut a very long story short, there was another
passenger, now a friend, Louis on board, and he had also ordered a
vegetarian special meal, not vegan. I think what ended up happening
is they gave him my meal for both of the meals, and they gave me whatever he was supposed to get, which
was actually the same dishes on the menu. So either the crew messed
up or catering messed up. In this case, luckily I’m not
allergic to anything, but if someone had been allergic and, for
example, couldn’t eat dairy and they served those meals and insisted
it was the special meal… not good. That is insane. Yeah, I mean for Europe,
that is actually like scandalous. That’s Lufthansa. So what did we think you?
You, you know, had some issues with the consistency? I have some thoughts on the cabin. I’ve been thinking a lot about
this and I think this shows more than anything that Lufthansa is
not a customer-centric airline. It’s more of a Lufthansa-centric company. I mean, I get what they’re doing. They’re trying to squeeze out as
much revenue as they can, all that. But I think ultimately it creates
a lot of confusion between different passengers. Like what happens if one of the
better seats are unoccupied? Like, can I go sit there? What do I do? All these unanswered questions. And then on top of that, I think it
creates a bit of a resentment between people in the same cabin class Why should there be these distinctions? Like, it doesn’t
really make sense to me. Huge distinctions. Yeah. Like the fact that the suite gets
a mattress, the other people don’t. Yeah. By the way, maybe you
don’t even know this. They’re gonna try to invest more in
making their business class better. Okay. Besides the seat, the soft product,
I’m really excited to see that. Hopefully they can bring some
personality and some life into a very dead, boring and sad experience. And honestly, I think in terms of
European airline business classes, it doesn’t get more dull than
Lufthansa, even with Allegris. It’s funny that Lufthansa isn’t Swedish
because Lufthansa is basically the IKEA of the skies, but without the fun. Yeah, literally. Well that’s, that’s what makes IKEA good. So that’s our conclusion. Just show us something. Show us some signs of
passion and interest. Lufthansa has so much potential and
their staff has so much potential because I remember growing up, I used
to get great service on Lufthansa, even in economy, which was what
I was flying all the time then. Yeah. But there’s a lack of training and there’s
a lack of passion… Good leadership, I mean, I don’t know anything about
the company, but like you can usually tell when there’s a lack of
good leadership in a company. Yeah.
Which is just sad. So Lufthansa, you got work to do, but at least
these seats are a nice step on the way toward improving. So on that note, we will see you
all, well maybe at least I will. We’ll see if Oskar will
depending on which video is next. See if I get to come along. Yeah. But we will see you sometime and
I will see you in the next video. Until then, as always, fly safe.

About Lufthansa:
Lufthansa is the national airline of Germany and one of the largest carriers in Europe by fleet size and passengers carried. A founding member of the Star Alliance, it operates a global network of flights to over 200 destinations across more than 70 countries. Lufthansa’s main hubs are Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and Munich Airport (MUC). The airline offers multiple cabin classes, including Economy, Premium Economy, Business Class, and First Class. Lufthansa also operates subsidiaries such as SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines, and has a frequent flyer program called Miles & More.
About Airbus A350 (from Wikipedia):
The Airbus A350 is a long-haul, wide-body aircraft developed by Airbus and designed for efficiency and comfort on international routes. It is built primarily from carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer, which helps reduce weight and improve fuel efficiency. The A350 is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines and features advanced aerodynamics and modern cabin technology. It comes in two main variants: the A350-900 and the longer A350-1000. The aircraft is used by major airlines around the world and is known for its quiet operation and long range, making it suitable for ultra-long-haul flights. The A350 first entered service in 2015.

good review, i agree with a lot. Service was terrible, i just flow biz to USA from Frankfurt. It's just sad to see the lack of care Lufthansa (and Swiss) have today….flying Gulf-airlines from now on, way better.
10:30 You were not in Frankfurt. The iconic and beautiful Airport in Munich is quite distinctive.
There’s no exercise for cold, impersonal service on any class.
I flew round trip Frankfurt-Tokyo and then one way to São Paulo on business class. Terrible experience. Rude crew, bad food, lousy entertainment and seats as old as the plane (747). Never again!
Flying Lufthansa on monday next week to Frankfurt from Austin and I hope ( hope is not a tactic) that my business class doesn't suck.
I completely agree the new concept is shit. It feels even narrower in the leg than the old one and I was not impressed by the food at all. I am German so I wish it would be better, but all in all I am pretty disappointed. As for the crew I must say I had only good experiences. They really made an effort and you could feel that they emphasize good service now.
Despite being a German native, I don't look like a typical "German". And you know what: Lufthansa cabin crew keeps talking to me in English even though I continue replying in German. So in my opinion, your experience with a crew reluctant to speak English, is extremely unusual 😅
We regularly fly Syd – Munich in business. The "soft product" of Emirates, Thai, Singapore Airlines, is no comparison, light years ahead. Qantas is better. The meals have three / four individual served courses and a seat that fits my 6'2" stature. The staff are friendly the whole experience is really pleasant and enjoyable. Your video just reminded me of Germany, unnecessarily complicated, over-engineered and service "mit einem kleinen S" ! – no thanks.
I love the video!! very honest. I'm always sad when I see my colleagues don’t give you the experience you deserve – especially for that amount of price you pay for it. Sometimes we can’t exactly remember who spoked in English or German to us, but at some point we actually got it😂
Despite, hope to see you on board again 🤩
I love the KLM business class out of the European companies. Lufthansa gives off sterility vibes
6:30 The first three set of seat types could be just one.
why don t you go back to the US and fly with your US american airlines ? and then compare them with Lufthansa 😜
The pillows look like they have been repaired by duct tape.
Lufthansa has always the same mentality. Dont care at all for the passengers…..only for money!!!! Tragic airline company. Only interested in profits. It gets worse every year.Bye Bye Lufthansa!!!!!!
Don't worry – there will come a time in your life when you will have REAL problems🙄
I agree with most what you said. This new concept will be a disaster on the long run. And even the "suite" is nothing special in comparison to some competitors. LH promises a new Business Class since 10 years and even now, only a few planes have it and it is not unto current standard. Just think about a broken seat and being reseated. In addition the soft products would have needed an upgrade, but besides promising it, nothing happens. And yes, not customer-centric but profit centric – but also lets be honest: most flights are booked,
09:35! I also had to explore myself what an avionic was! It’s an amaro like Campari and it’s delicious…
LH really need to step up their game in the soft product
What a stark contrast to JAL's A350-900 where every B class seat is similar to 7A with closing doors for privacy.
If I can't select a seat outside of whatever 24+ hour period before the flight, that's a deal breaker.
Ngl Lufthansa strikes me as a company I would fly with if I wanna be judged by stoic Amazonian flight attendants
The lounge food in Frankfurt didnt look that terrible. I saw Munchener weisswurst which are very special and quite good. You should try the bad food at the Swiss first class lounge at LAX or even worse the Centurian lounge
This is absolutely the worst business class set up i’ve ever seen, its honestly shocking!
Thanks. Great Video guys.
For international flights I stoped flying Lufthansa since more than 10 years. Even I was LH Senator at this time. It is the worst product but you’re realizing it not before you’re changing to one of the great airlines from Middle East and Asia.
it is better not to fly Lufthansa. The staff are not really friendly.
Why do I get the feeling that most of these Airline-Youtubers are the male Karens of our time?
Absolutely worst business class in the sky. Best thing about the flight was getting off. Ancient planes. They clearly disrespect their customers.
Welcome to Germany…what a shame
