Bavaria Palace and Castle Day Trip

All right. So, today’s journey takes us on a a couple of quick adventures. Right now, we’re at the Linda Hoff um palace where uh King Ludvid II uh reigned. He was 18 when he took over when his father uh Maxmillian died uh very suddenly. Um but he ruled for about 22 years and this was his main residence. I wish we could have um taken some photos inside, but they don’t let you. So, we’re going to obey those rules and and honor that. But we’ll show you the grounds. This place is spectacular. The colors, the the flowers, all that just come to life. And the weather couldn’t have been any perfect, any better, I should say. I mean, that’s good. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] Just a small little pond outside the palace. I mean, so calm today. Just it’s amazing. Again, the the colors of the sky so crisp and blue. The snow in the back. Wow. Couldn’t have been a better day. side nowadays. And here the emblem of Munich on the right hand side, the monk. Here we go. Which language do you need? And then they give you the audio guide. Behind me here is Noise Ben Weinstein Castle. I hope I pronounced that right. Uh, this castle itself was the inspiration for Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. So, after Linda Linderhoff Palace, we took about a 40-minute ride. Now, we’re going to head up to this place. We’re going to show you can check it out. And we are so excited about this one here. It’s something Carrie has been waiting for the entire year. So, let’s go check out this castle. All right. So, to get up to uh the castle, there’s three ways. You can go by a horse and buggy. Going to cost you uh almost €9 to do it. Or you can take a like a shuttle. That’s going to cost you about €3. Or you can do what I’m doing. It’s about a 40inut hike up. Not that I didn’t want to spend the money, but I did want to get a little exercise in. But be ready if you’re going to take this hike cuz obviously it is all uphill. All right. So, after about an hour’s walk up here, um you get to another uh viewpoint to to see the castle here. And then there’s a great um outlook over to a couple lakes that I’m going to show you as well. But you’re going to take about an hour or so to get up to this point here to go ahead and get decent pictures um of the castle in the background as well as those lakes and the mountains and everything else. So, give yourself a good amount of time. Get a little rest before you head into the castle. All right. So, another 10 minutes past the castle. Oh my god, I wore out. That’s what you see. Oh, man. [Music] All right. So, our day has ended here. Um, it was a long day. Um, Linderhoff uh palace was spectacular. Uh, I hope you enjoyed the castle. Uh, was great. We had a blast. Um, both things are going to last around 10 and a half hours by the time we get back to Munich. I hope you enjoyed it. I hope you can subscribe to our channel. As always, keep dreaming. Travel safe. Hey, check this out. Now, that’s the way to end the day. Hey.

Going to Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstein Castle was more than words can express. Both places are in settings that take your breath away.
