Insider tips that will make your visit here Unforgettable the Gerald sour waterfall is a Hidden Gem in the black forest and a must for nature lovers even the walk along the Crowbar to the waterfall is an experience the path leads through an idilic Forest accompanied by the soothing babbling of clear water the scenery seems like from a fairy tale book at the end of the path an impressive side opens up the crobar plunges in a picturesque waterfall over moss covered rocks Into the Depths surrounded by dense Greenery especially after rainfall the site is spectacular when the masses of water plunged the circular path which is about 800 M long on the way you’ll encounter the lake nyph a mystical sculpture that reminds of the legends of the mum sea and is a popular photo Motif also starting here is the art path at mumal se a hiking trail with impressive sculptures that uniquely combines art and nature for variety a ride on a pedal booat allows you to experience the lake from a completely new perspective the mum sea is a place that perfectly combines nature culture and culinary highlights at 1,164 M The Hornet grind is the highest peak of the northern black forest and an absolute highlight of the region from the mum sea a hiking trail of about 2 km leads up impressing with magnificent views of the expanses of the black forest especially the mum sea Blick Viewpoint halfway up offers a fantastic view of the lake a photo stop you shouldn’t Miss once at the top The Hornet grind Tower awaits you from which you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view at the K deuta you can fortify the region the interactive exhibitions invite you to experience the development of the national park up close a special highlight is the bridge of wilderness a barrier-free boardwalk that extends like a catwalk into the forest from there a staircase leads to the observation tower which is impresses with its inclined structure and offers a wide view over the forested slopes of the Black [Music] Forest short films are regularly shown in the center’s own Cinema providing deeper insights into the themes of the national park the center’s Cafe takes care of your physical well-being and in the shop of the tourist information you’ll find a selection of souvenirs [Music] a short detour from the Black Forest High road takes you to the All Saints Monastery and the impressive All Saints waterfalls this special mix of culture and nature begins with the small All Saints Chapel which you should also take a quick look at impressively the remains of the monastery ruins stand right next to it taking you back in time the ruins with their part partially preserved arches and walls tell the story of a once powerful Monastery that was abandoned after a devastating fire in the 19th century today the remains invite you to explore and linger from the Montery you can walk through the once magnificent Monastery Garden past the memorial of the Black Forest Association and along the lebach to the seven Cascades of the waterfalls [Music] the waterfalls are not only a natural spectacle but also a picturesque companion on the way alternatively there is the possibility to start at the lower parking lot and explore the path along the waterfalls upwards to the monastery [Music] just a few meters from the Black Forest High Road is the Stein moer observation platform at schliff cop here you can stand or sit comfortably and enjoy the impressive views of the vast forests and hills of the Black Forest the platform is a perfect place to pause feel the Tranquility of Nature and let the
