Going to Vietnam solo backpacking is so worth it!
This is a summary of my backpacking tour in Vietnam for 2 weeks
First, I went to Saigon I stayed there for 4 days, I visited Mekong River, Cu Chi Tunnel, War Museum, Ben Thanh Market, High end shops at District 1, the Opera House, Local street food at District 4, and Ho Chi Minh City tour. Then I took a 6 hour sleeper bus to Da Lat. I traveled around Da Lat for 3 days. The highlights of my tour in Da Lat was Lien Hoa Restaurant, Elephant Waterfalls, Pongour Waterfalls (the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam), Crazy house, Weasel poop coffee farm, flower farm, Paradise lake and Chinese Lunar New Year fireworks. After traveling Da Lat, I took a 12 hour overnight sleeper bus to Hoi An, a charming town in Vietnam, where I stayed the longest. During my trip, vietnamese were celebrating Chinese Lunar New Year and Lantern Festival. They lit up gorgeous lanterns at night and floated paper lanterns on the river. After that, I took a shuttle van, about an hour drive outside of Hoi an called Da Nang, where I continued to Ba Na Hills to see the hand bridge. I met travelers and solo backpackers from all over the world. I loved the scenery, history, and the street food! This is a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget! I highly recommend traveling to Vietnam. Go ahead and put it in your bucket list!
