This Isn’t a Vlog It’s a Wake Up Call
If you have 48 hours and a full heart, what would you choose? Sleep? Silence? A table full of strangers and cheese you can’t pronounce. Here’s what I choose and what it taught me about time. Let me guess, you have no time to travel. Your weekends blur into laundry and lists. I used to think that too until I tried something different. I stopped treating time like an enemy and start spending it like it mattered. This isn’t vlog. It’s guide to reclaim a weekend without quitting a job, leaving your family or disappearing into the mountains. The trick, you don’t need more hours, just need anchoring moments. This is how I found mine. Start with something real, something you can touch. Local tomatoes, goat cheese, warm bread that cracks when you tear it. The simur market was a mustsee. It was a return to texture, to scent, slowness. We didn’t rush. We wandered. And in that, we remember food isn’t fuel. The memory. This is donuts. It looks like my grandma made it, but it’s not the same taste like the donuts that my grandma’s made. It was more puffy. It’s not bad. It’s not the best, either. We came to Anette to visit Julia. But what we didn’t expect was to find the city itself alive in a way that felt brand new. And that spontaneous stop led us into a street festival. Music bouncing of old stone and people [Music] dancing. Lesson two, let life interrupt you. Joy is often hidden in a detours a little village. It’s picturesque and it’s it’s located in L Valley in west part of France. It’s known for lots of history, beautiful chateau, uh, vineyards, white wine mostly, and it’s quite rich in a culture heritage. Like any other town, there is a chateau. So, Chateau de Samu, it’s one of the kind of main attractions over there. You can’t miss it. The chateau has lots of history dating back to the 10th centuries. Various purposes. It was a fortress but also it was um residence to the Duke of Anjour. I need to say um one thing like I’ve been like now for a month in France. You mentioned the French wines. It means usually like really good wine. I tried wines with the bread. Breath is type of disease that you can when it’s present intense flavor, you just can’t drink the wine. I don’t know. So far, I don’t feel this is great wine. Probably more expensive wines will be very good, but on a regular basis, sorry. [Music] My [Music] [Applause] heart. What are you doing? Have you ever planned your trip around festival that happening in the city? I did once when I was going to Italy. Um, if you want to watch a video about it, it’s Sienna in it was a city Sienna in Italy. I went by my motorbike, but there is a specific festival happening every year at particular time. And if you know more about it, check it out in the description below. I have a question for you. Um, what are your top tips to immerse yourself in some local culture or environments? Question number two, what is the most unique thing that you saw in the city you visited? What is so special? What is so um breathtaking? um something that you will remember always. Share in the comments below. [Music] [Music] Yeah, we had a dinner at a small French restaurant. Nothing fleshy, but every detail felt intentional. Comforting dishes, quiet atmosphere, and the food that made just love slow without trying too hard. It reminds me how good it feels to end the day not with noise, but with something nourishing. That night, we didn’t talk about work. We didn’t talk about problems. We talk about the flavor and childhood and what love feels like when it’s plated. Okay. Okay. Uh I took because for me it’s always [Music] good. So don’t chase novelty. Find depth. Nice. So, here’s the formula. Write it down. Use it often, and remember, one thing to touch, one plant to ditch, one meal to share, and 1 hour without your phone. That’s it. This how you turn time from a teeth into a gift. And if you’re watching this, I hope you take a weekend Zoom, not to escape, but to return. Like, comment, or share if you need and tell me what you do with your 48 hours. I’m really curious. [Music]

If you’ve ever felt like your weekends vanish without meaning—this one’s for you.
I filmed this as a reminder that even two days can shift everything if you live them with intention.
If this resonates, you might also love my video on how I recharge after travel burnout—it’s real, unfiltered, and filled with small rituals that help me reset.

I would probably choose food, journaling and time with hubby and kids. 🙂 #VRAFamily
