Greetings. I love your tips. I used them when I first visited Japan 2 years ago and I am now traveling to Japan frequently to explore different regions and prefectures l
Awesome video! Great tips. I am headed back to Japan in April, first time in 10 years. A lot has changed, and your advice is extremely helpful…especially on the train payment options.
Very good thorough video.
Small tip for those who have Wise card. If you use 7 Eleven ATM 🏧 you will pay 220 yen for you withdraw. Not a lot, but☝️ if you look for AEON 🏧 ATM you will pay zero withdrawal fee. On top of that Wise allowes two free cash withdrawals per month, though only 350 CAD total with zero fee. AEON rocks!
The weebs are the worst about pronouncing japanese correctly. Then they say "mek-si-co" and "craw-sant" like a typical american
Very informative, thank you for the great content!
My dear friend. This is the best video out of so many we watched. We visited Japan last year and going again this year this month April with family of 5 adults.
Just found your channel. Our go-to place is Japan – we go every year from Tennessee. Love it so much. Hitting the Osaka World Expo soon and of course Tokyo DisneySea. Thanks for the great video – I shared it with my brother who is taking his family for the first time later this year.
The food tips are great. My husband and I do not eat seafood and yet we love the food in Japan. Hamburger steaks in the department stores, Coco Curry, okonomyaki with no bonito flakes and of course McDonald's, MosBurger and all the konbinis – I could survive on their egg salad sandwiches 🙂
This is the most helpful Video I have found to prep for our trip and I have watch SO MANY!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much!
You are so joyful and happy and smiley and photogenic making your videos so enjoyable to watch, besides the fact that the videos covers tons of helpful and informative aspects.
Thank you ! Keep visiting the world 🙂
A Question please :
if you had only 3 days in Tokyo : what would you do/visit/…… (first time visit to japan and tokyo) ?
Thank youuuuuu so much
Chris you started going to Japan around the same time I was there, which was from 2003 to 2006. I haven't been back since. What's the biggest change you think I would notice, if I were to go back today?
Dear Chris, Many thanks for producing the video regarding Japan🤌 Greetings from the Netherlands (Europe)
Good info🎉
So do I actually take my debit card and use it at the atm, rather than going into chase bank and exchange there or at the airport in japan? Thanks!
I love Chris’s videos!! I’m going to Hawaii and Japan….luckily my girlfriend lives in Japan so I don’t have to worry about where to stay and getting around.
This was great. Going to Japan next month with my wife, it’ll be her first time!
Tabelog doesn't have an app on Android, but they do on iPhone!! Ahh hate how they aren't really android friendly
Hi i thought Haneda was closer to Disneyland?
Fantastic video. I learned a lot
Super helpful, thanks for sharing 😊
really enjoyed this video, it’s packed with great info for anyone planning a trip to Japan! but honestly, i feel like some of the tips are kinda overrated. like, do we really need to spend time at every shrine? sometimes it feels like it’s all just a checklist instead of enjoying the moment, you know?
Hello can we use the suica for 2 person?
Comprehensive & entertaining. Great presentation.
planning a month in japan looking november/december will be my first time overseas so very keen but also worried about getting lost on a train
what happens if I don't keep my goodies of tax free items not sealed before I get to the airport?
we know where japan is
Thank you for all your efforts, good sir. I hope one day I get to visit this beautiful country 🤞
Thank you for all the useful inormations. Will it be boring if someone goes to Tokyo alone?
Excellent video. Gracias
Amazing content. Direct to the point and very informative.
Thanks!
Hi friend✌️I’ve been a fan for a big time and now I’m making a list thanks to you, for my trip in Spring ‘26.
Thanks. Your info is spot on. One thing regarding language was missing. I have found Google Lens to be the life saver. Hold your phone in front of any Japanese sign, menu, grocery store item (great at Donky and Daiso lol), and get an instant translation! There is no need to go to English-only establishments. Also, I had to chuckle about your US review ratings versus Japan review ratings. So true! They are critical (and correctly so.) I think this is an outlet for their ingrained politeness. 😊
Is January a good time to go? 🙇🏽♂️
Hi Chris. This is really helpful. I live in London, so the underground etc., seems to have similar rules. I was thinking of the JR pass for travelling to/from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima. Would it be worth it, or would individual tickets be better?
Great info. All I needed. Thank you.
