Majestic Princess Cruise Ship Tour!

Majestic princess is a royal class ship with an over 3500 passenger capacity we loved our time on her here’s our ship tour from our crews in late 2024 I’m Troy and this is the port Lowdown starting from bottom to top deck four Gala is simple a small section midship which is the staging area for tender shuttles and the medical facility as you exit the elevators you’ll notice the ATM machines medical offices are around the corner [Music] [Applause] [Music] a sneak peek behind the stairs reveals their onboard wheelchairs deck five Plaza’s public areas are all pretty much congregated mid ship from the spa forward to Symphony dining a the spa is similar to Discovery princess and other worldclass ships which is to say it’s really really nice [Music] [Applause] [Music] now the start attraction is this Enclave area with its special whirlpool and assorted heat rooms and Lumbar lounges [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] outside of this are various treatment rooms including algae wraps [Applause] [Music] and couples friendly massage rooms just outside the spa is a spacious rotunda with the guest services desk open 24 hours the extra space gets filled up easily with long lines here especially on the first day and the second to last [Music] day on the opposite side is a short Excursion Des with their handy tablets for quick scanning [Music] adjacent to this desk are the printer kiosk we can get a copy of your folio see our video for firsttime princess cruisers on details of how to use them also here is the Chinese Harmony restaurant a specialty dining venue this ship was geared for the Chinese market and you’ll see signs of this throughout the ship from the Mandarin script on many of the signs to restaurants such as this [Music] [Applause] [Music] as with most princess ships there’s a grand Piaza area which is the social and commerce nerve center kind of like Town [Music] Square we always enjoyed this aspect of princess ships Feels Like Home [Music] it extends three levels and is surrounded by shops restaurants C serves and bars two bars across from each other bar [Music] Piaza and Vines Wine Bar [Music] now I’ve often said that international cafe the 24-hour go-to place for sandwiches snacks and coffees is one of our favorite things on a princess ship when we first board the ship this is the first place we go to their sandwiches are especially good [Music] [Music] coffee drinks are an extra charge though heading aft is the future Cruise planning office and Captain Circle loyalty [Music] you can also leave your future Cruise deposit forms in this box finally at the far a is a symphony dining room the first of three separate formal dining rooms now as you see the layout will be pretty similar across all three now we’ve been on ships with one massive dining area but we actually prefer smaller main dining rooms they offer more personalized experience since it’s a bit easier to secure the same weight staff every night [Music] and each dining room has their own version of the special Chef’s [Music] [Music] Table deck 6 Fiesta pretty much runs the length of the ship from the theater forward the casino and arcade area services around the Piaza and the two other dining rooms with a special note for one of them at the [Music] stern first this princess theater is very similar to other worldclass ships lots of handicap access seating of course [Music] and pretty decent leg room the theater covers two deck levels with exits on both this arcade is a fairly recent addition to princess ships [Music] [Music] and if you forgot to buy ducks to hide here you [Music] go and next to this towards midship are are the casino areas starting with this VIP Casino area actually it’s a public [Music] [Music] area with a double down bar and backr tables again a notd to the Chinese [Music] market the nexo casino is fairly standard a decent size with all the games you’d expect [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] it does get really crowded sometimes especially during giveaways midship facing the Piaza is good spirits at [Music] Sea Alfredo’s Pizza also faces the Patza and as a separate charge specialty restaurant [Music] [Music] on the opposite end is the photo gallery shop where private screens replac the public picture displays for all the photos taken on [Music] board you can also buy equipment here and professional studio sessions at a separate place [Music] place next to this is a small internet cafe which comes in handy for the printer next door is the art gallery which is quite a bit smaller than other princess ships I’ve been on [Music] next to this is the conserto dining room the second main dining room as you’ll see the layout is almost identical to Symphony [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] finally Allegro dining room all the way after is divided on the ship and requires entry from the AFT elevators or [Music] stairs the decor is also a bit different as well as smaller but still a great dining space and usually not as crowded as the other dining rooms [Music] [Music] [Music] in fact we prefer this dining room over the other two deck 7 prominade also covers forward and a the theat is up front then the shops Patza area restaurants and another restaurant and two clubs at starboard we’ll start with the shops which for the most part are congregated in this area [Music] [Music] [Music] midship in the Piaza area is the Ocean Terrace [Music] bar the catch by Rudy is a specialty seafood restaurant of course facing the [Music] Piaza but it also comes in handy for daytime computer work with plugs and big tables that are mostly empty during the [Music] day follow the hallway starboard and you’ll see the princess Life cafe with specialty coffee drinks and the ocean front store where you can get Medallion [Music] accessories princess live is the club area where on Ship TV presentations are shot as well as various games and [Music] [Music] trivia we love this particular section with all the sofas that line the hallway perfect for people watching [Music] next up is for our money the nicest specialty restaurant on board the crown Bar and Grill their signature Steakhouse [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] across from here is a small Library honestly not much of a sitting space it’s mainly to borrow the book and game collections they have in the [Music] cases all the way out is the Vista Lounge a really big space for lounge ax Bingo and special events [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] finally the outside prom deck is well pretty Limited [Music] there’s a few open areas with loungers but it’s mostly covered with [Music] [Music] equipment you also can’t circle around the ship [Music] [Music] our state room this time was an inside cabin which was quiet and cozy the beds were very comfortable [Music] [Music] [Music] we had a stocked counter and fridge but that’s totally negotiable with the cabin Steward of course [Music] the closet and bathroom pretty much match in size with other cabins we’ve had on princess so you’re not getting a much fancier bathroom with the cabin [Music] upgrade typically there’s one laundry room per [Music] deck some are smaller or bigger but they have at least two washers and two dryers [Music] they accept tokens paid with your [Music] medallion and if the laundry room is busy on your deck you can try different floors also special to deck 14 towards aft is a meeting room area and private Lounge for sweets guests that can only be accessed with The Medallion smallish but quite nice [Music] and it comes with your own buet area deck 16 Leto starts with State rooms All the Way Forward followed by the pool area bouet and wake View Bar [Music] AF the pool is just average in size [Music] but has plenty of louers [Music] [Music] [Music] lots of dining seating as [Music] well expect this place to be packed most days like this food and drink options include the Chopsticks Noodle [Music] Bar Fountain pool bar the burger and lobster [Music] Grill C View [Music] Bar and swirls ice cream with the simple swirl cones are complimentary but the specialty ones are [Music] extra and there’s also the infamous SE view walks which can make for a dising experience by the way you may want to check if your cabin will be just below these walks as people can see into your [Music] balcony World fresh marketplace the bufet area takes up a good chunk of this deck the area’s layout and food offerings are on par with most other princess ships good quality and ample seating even though this area gets really busy really quickly [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] the Wake View Bar is all the way out and provides even more dining seats and some terrific views we really enjoyed this spot [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] deck 17 sun has enclosed public areas on both ends and a huge Lounge deck at the [Music] center the Hollywood Pool Club has all the look and feel of an exclusive adultsonly area with a large enclosed pool but I saw families using it we went in and out of this area and never got questioned at any rate this area was fairly easy to access on our cruise [Music] the club features a conservatory area with lots of cool offbeat decor [Music] [Music] [Music] and candas for [Music] higher and like I said the open deck area is spread out and big perfect for moving Under the Stars [Music] this section all the way after is a designated smoking area [Music] now a cool addition is this table tennis area sectioned off with [Music] cages the pass this is the back entrance to the fitness area and here’s the front entrance [Music] typically big with lots of machines comparable to other world class ships [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and adjacent to this are the kids club areas separated by age group [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] deck 18 Sports has the sports court and running track towards aft but the configuration on this is a bit odd as you’ll [Music] see there’s the court but the outside walking area enters and exits the court to continue around I hadn’t seen that [Music] before can’t say I’m a fan but it is what it is [Music] and deck 19 sky is accessed via the sports deck on 18 a and features the putting green [Music] if you got good value from our ship tour be sure to like share with your friends and comment and if you 1. Did the California Coast on the Majestic in October 2024. I really enjoyed it but am concerned about the upcoming dry dock that will change things. Appears the changes will duplicate the other Royal class ships by removing the Chinese flavor. This will be disappointing as it added wonderful character to the ship.

  2. Going on the Majestic, inside cabin, in Aug 2025 to New England and Canada. My 5th or 6th cruise (Platinum level so some benefits!).

Love Princess. Classy ships, classier passengers imo. 3500 only;1300+ staff.

  3. Big omission imo was neglecting to mention the Hollywood inside pool is heated! Very few Princess ships have indoor pools open to everyone. The spa one is usually dark if you pay extra for that. I plan to spend a lot of time here in August as we’ll be in NE and Canada on the Majestic.

  4. Thanks for the tour, look forwarded to trying this, the only royal class i haven't been on, when it comes to Galveston next year. It looks like they also have no poker table in the Casio, is that so?

  6. We just got off a 15 day cruise in Feb 2025 to the southern Caribbean and sounded like half the passengers were sick. Spent the last 5 days coughing and trying to stay healthy but by the time I got home I had full blown flu. I have been sick for over 2 weeks now and have been to emergency care 3 times with my wife to get antibiotics and make sure we didn't have pneumonia. After 12 cruises this will be our last "biowarfare" adventure ever! Next time we are flying to resorts and avoid the sick old people.

  7. I really like this class ship. Was on Discovery for my Alaska cruise in summer of 23. Will be on Enchantment for 2 week cruise this summer then on Majestic for 2 week cruise this Thanksgiving. The only negative for me about this class ship (Discovery & Enchantment) is that there isn't and indoor pool. Great to see that Majestic has an indoor pool!

FYI – it's not Mandarin "script" all over the ship, it's Chinese. All Chinese dialek read the same "script".

  8. We are going on this ship January 2026. So I’m confused, can you go to all three of the main dining rooms?? we usually only cruise on celebrity and I’m looking forward to trying princess!
