Driving in Germany: Autobahn A73 from Suhl to Coburg
In this video you can ride along on Autobahn A73 from Suhl to Coburg in central-east Germany. Normally you see Autobahns from the West of Germany on the channel since that is where I usually drive, but very occasionally I also drive out East and last time I made sure to film some of the beautiful stretches of road there.
The A73 runs from Nürnberg in the South to Suhl in the North (Thüringen), where it connects to the A71, which continues further North. Both the A71 and A73 are quite scenic Autobahns that cross some interesting landscapes. The hay days of Suhl were definitely before the fall of the iron curtain. It’s an interesting city which I didn’t have the chance to visit yet.

Die Thüringer Wald Autobahn, eine absolut unterbewertete, wunderschöne Strecke. Wir nutzen sie gern als alternative zur permanent verstopften A7 aus der Region Harz in Richtung Bayern und weiter nach Süden.
