well hello and welcome back thanks for coming back fabulous fabulous days the temperature if you’re curious to know 31° at 11:00 a.m in the morning yeah summer has arrived so if you are coming to Pathos rest assured you’re going to go home with a suntan and you’re going to have a fabulous fabulous holiday many people know that because they come back again and again and again we are in Yeriskipu and we’re heading towards central Papos we’re going to work our way towards the top of the old town and then we’re going to take a left and we’re going to head down to the little area known as downtown Kato Pathos that’s downtown Kato Paradise to you and me and of course we’re going to get views of the blue blue Mediterranean Sea as I tell you some information about the island of love of course that is Cyprus if you’re looking for a fabulous holiday it’s the place to come if you’re looking for somewhere to relocate to it’s the perfect place to come or perhaps you’re thinking about retiring Cyprus Pathos in particular should be at the very very top of your list if you do it you’re going to have a fabulous fabulous time and if you are looking for help and information about PAOS whether you’re coming on holiday or whether you are thinking of retiring or just relocating for a year or two many many tax benefits if you do that and of course on top of that you’re going to get a and of course that’s Bar Street in central Ketapathos just set back from the main road that crescendos you down towards the Ketapathos prominard and harbor area when you find yourself by the Annabel Hotel if you go towards the right and cut through some of the little pathways you’ll come out onto Zabar Street and you will come across a rather large bar called the Marici Lounge Bar lots of things always going on there pop in and see us greatest cocktails in the world there’s no doubt about that many many people have told us and of course an information hub and as time goes on you’re going to learn to speak Greek if you come and join us on the Monday and the Friday from the 30th of June we’re going to have salsa nights the list goes on and on if you fancy karaokeing come and see us on a Monday a Wednesday and a Saturday night and you can sing the night away gridlock traffic in downtown Central Pathos this is what we’ll call the businessy area shall we say people rushing around wanting to get that little bit of paperwork perhaps done just before lunch because they all like to go for lunch as I do and many many people do don’t they because that’s what it’s all about relaxing and having a good time and PAOS is all about relaxing and having a good time whether you’re coming on holiday whether you’re going to work remotely from Pathos or whether you’re going to retire in PAOS and many many people know it you come and sit with us at the Mariki Lounge Bar and as time goes on you will get to meet many many people who have made the decision to come and live in Cyprus and they’ll all tell you one thing it’s the best decision that they ever ever made little bit of information about the area lots of building going on coffee shops various banks in this area as we head towards the very top of the old town and the area called Kennedy Square if you work your way through Kennedy’s Square on foot you will go deep into the Oldtown plenty of gift shops plenty of cafeterias and restaurants oldtown has that habit of closing in the afternoon so if you want to come up to the Oldtown make sure you do it in the morning should we say set out at around about 9:00 get to the old town by about 10:00 you’re going to have a great two or three hours then have lunch and then head back to your hotel your complex or perhaps that villa that you may have rented but you’re going to have a great time in the old town and I think the old town is overlooked a lot of people enjoy the Kipathas Prominard and harbor a lot of people enjoy the bars and restaurants on an evening and they forget about the specialty and the spectality of the little area known as the old town totally refurbished two or three years ago now if you go there I promise you you’re going to get a great great morning out make some new friends and perhaps find that perfect perfect gift in that little arts and craft shop perhaps have that perfect iced frappe or hot latte coffee now can I ask you for a course or not and we will point you in the right direction to try and make sure that you have that perfect holiday when you come on a Big Bird to downtown Cyprus as we drop down this road you can see there’s many shops fromarmacies dental clinics restaurants and so forth when we come to the edge of the road you’re going to come across the Kings Avenue Mal that will be on the right side and on the left side will be the Bona Garden Center kings Avenue Mal well at the peak of summer a great great place to go the air con will be on max it’ll be nice and cool as you strut yourself around all the shops and little restaurants and perhaps even pop into Jumbo jumbo what is jumbo I hear you ask well it’s like a bargaining shop on steroids you go in hoping not to buy anything and you come out the other end having relinquished 30 40 or even more euros as you realize that oh I want that i want that and of course it’s so cheap that you cannot resist it so perhaps if you are in downtown Papos pop up to the Kings Avenue M chill out have a coffee or two have a wander around one or two of the shops and perhaps visit Jumbo you’ll be in there a while that’s for sure kings Avenue Mal coming up on the right hand side the garden center on the left hand side right in front of us is the main roundabout if you go to the left you’ll head up towards shall we say Yeruskipu if you go to the right you’ll go along Kings Avenue and that crescendos all the way to Cassaga Coral Bay and the PA area but we’re going straight over because we’re heading down to downtown Kato Pathos and the Pathos Harbor area you’re going to get a view quite simply worth dying in for so stick with us don’t click off just yet like I was saying this is the main tourist area most people come for holiday to pathos perhaps they’re not staying in this area but they will always come to this area at least once go for a walk along the prominard into the harbor out towards the pathos castle and of course above all else they will feast their eyes and digest upon the beauty and the spectacality of the blue blue blue blue Mediterranean Sea let’s keep going on this street I call it the estate road there is more estate agents and property sellers on this street than anywhere else in Pathos so perhaps if you are looking for that perfect property this could be that street that’s waiting especially for you but also remember you can pop into the Mercury Lounge Bar and take all of the stress away and we can point you in the right direction of that perfect estate station and you could be residing in that perfect holiday
