Americans React to Top 100 Streamed Eurovision Songs of All Time!
today we’re going to be reacting to the top 100 Eurovvision most streamed songs and this is like a long is this I don’t know if this the entire history of Eurovision from 1956 to 2023 but uh it’s over a long period of time that’s 70 dang years it would be like almost exactly 70 years if they included up to this year’s Euro Vision but I’m so curious to see this cuz we got into Euro Vision literally after this list so we won’t know like any of these songs maybe there’s some popular songs we’ve heard before that like went worldwide i don’t know we’ll see maybe there I mean Cha Cha Cha stuff like that they got to be on there money skin let’s find out here we go on the Zuka music channel contest 2023 is coming to an end and so today we have a new video about the top 100 most history of the contest on Spotify 100 different ones to get blocked though yeah related videos monet skin loves to block us yeah react to the Netherlands one from this year oh this is all quick really quick it’s like Oh okay oh oh we I remember this one yeah because actually technically we started reacting in 2022 because we were in India when the first time we ever reacted to Euro Vision yeah so we have checked stuff out but we didn’t know what Eurovvision really was at that point anything big from 2022 we may have heard before or 2023 [Applause] oh wild dances what the heck that’s actually cool [Music] dang what a voice [Applause] what that’s an old song 1983 for this one a big difference in sound between the decades it’s interesting some of the like newer songs even if they’re like top and like 20th place they’re still on this list just because so many more songs stream better now cuz a lot less people are going back to the 1970s songs and streaming them I’m sure unless they’re real famous and who knows maybe there’s some uh some people are unhappy with the votes and the song became popular after the contest yeah who knows [Music] uhoh [Applause] [Music] see a lot of the same countries from here i feel like Yeah spain Ukraine whoa that’s like a 2017 song i would have thought this is like earlier 2000 style yeah it’s got the sty it’s got the style [Music] that’s a different version of Sound of Silence that I’m used to oh there’s Cha Cha Cha [Music] what the 81 see now I can see it that’s like This is like giving me like uh in the US like the dang uh 5060 vibes like that you’d see on TV shows back then yeah that is kind of true they got the vibrant colors too [Music] [Music] [Music] oh Turkey two hot songs from Turkey [Music] like aes [Music] 1967 dang the difference between 66 and 2020 yep wow 65 [Music] i like that of course I will be [Music] [Music] Spain they are a lot of countries can listen to Spanish Eurovvision songs give that banana oh cool guys oh yeah sweet all over the [Music] We’re cracking the top 50 now just a little bit a little bit more all right hey Baba [Music] [Applause] iceland [Music] what the heck funky it’s interesting that like every Swedish song I don’t know about this one but like a lot of the Swedish songs are like poppy songs in English and then it’ll switch to the Italian one and some dude belting in Italian it’s interesting yeah it’s a very different from country to country now we’re going to see if what you just said sticks to I’m scared sticks to it here we go it’s It’s like a Poppy singing song except this is a very poppy Italian song with a gorilla more cypress on here than you’d expect you’re making me wa How many times can we win how many times can we break the rules between us i could be the sun that lights your There was definitely a style in the 60s and 70s for performances with stationary mics [Music] dang it’s like something you’d hear in a dang World War II movie playing at like somebody’s home they they check into the radio switch the station this one’s pop song it literally sounds like it [Music] no [Music] hey my theory still stands rock wait wait go back what’s that like I’ve heard that one [Music] it kind of sounds like uh the Billy Joel song yeah the like something about it is very similar to that i don’t know how to describe it exactly [Applause] oh there we go we reacted to it lots of streams actually [Music] [Applause] whoa [Music] see another Italian man bouncing an Italian whoa dang england [Music] i went to belting in French sorry whoa spain usually got to tell you how it feels about [Music] there’s a way more cyprus than I expected [Music] oh boy and there is a The amount of people that live in the Nordic countries do not represent or does not equal the amount of representation in these I would say Eurovvision lists literally the Nordics and Sweden are like uh well and uh Cypress I mean are disproportionately high for their populations and then like even Spain probably still is netherlands decent one in Netherlands yeah i mean there’s a decent chunk there’s not a ton of Germany actually no germany and UK you’re not seeing a ton no no lots of Ukraine lots of Ukraine in there yeah not much like Poland or anything either that we’ve seen oh we’ve seen like three Poland no not much of like any of the other like Eastern European countries or even the Baltics very interesting we’ll see the top 10 iceland’s in the top 10 speaking of uh not equaling oh we listen to that one sweden again really go for the English pop song oh my there we go i’ve heard this oh different Italian style this one water interesting [Music] nordics are out there we go makes sense with the high number three whoa whoa that’s from Euro Vision i was about to say cuz I saw 20th place i was like “This is the only one in the top 10 that wasn’t first.” And that’s because it was trendy after dang that is super surprising i would have never expected this to be Eurovvision ever an Armenian too wow [Music] this one either that explains why these ones are so much higher on the streams because we’ve heard we heard those ones for sure yeah dang it’s crazy that Mona skin still sneaks in there in the top dang uh three that’s how big they were those are like the other two songs are like really trendy songs and this one’s still number three that’s very different than the pop songs the other two are wait I think the two Italian ones that were in the top 10 were the only ones in a non-English language right all the top 10 ones were English I think yeah because the other ones were all Nordic respect the Italians getting their uh the Italian songs out there they sound good i mean they something about Italian just makes it sound very nice in music very interesting to learn about some history of Euro Vision here we got some insight on it you guys can let us know tons more insight in the comments if our insight was even correct or if this video was even correct who Volare is the first ever Grammy winner for record of the year
It is obvious that you do not know Italian music or Italian artists at all. Also, there are so many super famous pop or dance songs that you probably would not even know are by Italian artists just because they are in English
spotify ranking isn't really the best
There is a simple reason why the Italian entries are all in Italian: the winner of the Sanremo Festival automatically becomes the Italian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest and only Italian-language songs are allowed to enter this festival.
Imo, a song that could be listened to a little bit more is Rumania's entry from 2015. Voltai, de la capat.
Despite me not understanding the rumanian language, at all, there is something in the song and the singing that is… real(?).
Germany is the weird child in eurovision
Currently snap is only a few million behind arcade and both have over a billion streams atleast on Spotify
While there´s sometimes a great song hidden, be sure to NOT take this as a profile for European music quality. Most of these are second- and third-class one-time acts gathered together for a once a year circus-spectacle.
The Italian singer Marco Mengoni was two times on this list.
Turn your mic on please
Nel blu de pinto de blu (Volare) was huge worldwide in the 50s
I was surprised Celine Dion wasn't even in the top 100..
Sweden would be even more represented if you would count all of the songs that have Swedish song writers. A lot of the Cypriotic songs on this list are written by Swedes for example.
"Tattoo" 700M not 54M
Klavdia❤Greece
Abbas Performance in Eurovision kicked off their worldwide domination, but they had a successful album in Sweden beforehand.
You understand this is the most fucked up list:
1. It is source from Spotify – most fucked up platform
2. It is not Eurovision songs, it is songs that happened to be featured in the Eurovision
3. It is skewed in time. Accumulated number of streams? C'mon!
Cyprus deserved to win at least on a couple occasions in the past. They're very underappreciated by the public.
I feel like the video you guys were watching doesn't really give the songs justice, at all. It just gives you 5 second snips of it. I would love to see you react to more in depth videos where you can actually hear the full chorus or at least a longer snip of it!
LMAO Tix and Efendi back to back
Anyone else notice how is said sweden won 1983 when it was actually luxembourg that won it in 1983 The singer Carola didn't win until 1991 and even then the win was controversial because France got the same amount of points yet sweden was declared winner and france as runner up
22, 16, 11, 8, 7 and 5th the best! 🙂
Honestly, I didn't expect four songs from Germany to be in the top 100. I especially didn't see Malik Harris coming.
I thoight Celine Dion would have been in there too
The amount of streams doesn't say anything in eurovision. For example, Italy has always one of the most streams every year. But like 99% of that streams are by italians themselves. It says more something about how big the population of the country is and how popular eurovision (ore the pre selection) is. If you wanna have a proper idea of the popularity of the songs you should look to the amount of streams outside of the country itself.
Yes, Go Duncan!
Should have done all the winners first.
To be fair, most of the streams for the Italian songs come from Italy, because the Italian songs that get sent to Eurovision are from the Sanremo song festival, which being the country's biggest TV event with a long history and media coverage, guarantees every participating song to stay at the top of the Italian charts. It is indeed impressive that these songs always get a lot of support from both televoters and juries across Europe though!
This is my all time favourite Eurovision song:

7:30 i'm crying of laugh for the transicion from the Sweden song to the Italian Opera song. well… what we can say, this is Eurovision. 11:36 Well tbh i think Cyprus and Sweden are the most loved (of the small country) by the Eurovision fans. because their songs are Sooo good, Every year they are the ones who bring good songs. 12:17 you have no idea how proud we are That (not just 1 but) 3 of our Italian Songs are in the Top 10 of the most streamed Eurovision songs.
It's somenthing amazing.
I was expecting Euphoria to be the top but man Arcade is such a gem!!
Fuego in 2018 was an absolute banger. Should have won, Eleni would have made a PERFECT winner! So glad to have witnessed the whole thing from the Golden Circle in the Altice Arena. Unforgettable experience!
Non si possono guardare.
NETHERLANDS ON TOP❤🇳🇱😆
Please check out "Manga – We Could Be The Same" where Türkiye earned 2nd place and 1st place with "Sertab Erener – Everyway That I Can". Since u guys like to react about Türkiye, i think u might enjoy these Eurovision songs.
Back in the day, i think in the 50s and 60s (maybe into the early 70s as well) each country's Eurovision had to be sung in that country's language. This obviously changed by the time ABBA sang Waterloo, which wasn't in Swedish, the song that launched their international careers.
It's very interesting i find that no Irish songs were in this list because in the 2000s they won the contest consecutively for i think 3 years, and because the winning nation has to host the next year's contest it almost bankrupted the country's broadcaster, so much so that the best year they put out such a bad song that has the intention not to win, and it succeeded, finishing near the bottom.
I just think many of these songs are in this list and streamed more because of going viral on social media or purely because more people watch the songs on platforms around the time of the event. I'd also add there seemed to be more from the COVID years when more people were probably isolating at home with not that much to do.
I found it sad that so little of each of these songs were shown that you didn't really get to even get a little of how the songs really were excellent the main hook maybe. There were some great songs in there that i think you're enjoy that you couldn't really tell what they were about. You also didn't mention the positions many of these songs reached, apart from those in the top 10, with many, even the old ones, not being the winners of the contest, and many finishing quite far down in the year they appeared.
WAT? Not 1 song With The only person that have won 2 times! ( LOREEN ) Tatoo / Ehuforia!!! Best sweden sent ever!!! not even here :S / sweden!
Cha Cha Cha has now over 175 million streams. Although I guess many other ones have gotten a lot more streams as well during a couple of years.
9:33 I think you mean Billy Joel's We Didn’t Start the Fire. It really does sounds like it in that clip. 😀
Germany and UK do historically lousy at Eurovision which is why they are barely on here 😂
This list is old. Loreen's Tattoo has over 730 million streams now. Songs from Eurovision 2025 would make the list too..
This video is very outdated, Cha cha cha has over 177million streams. It would be in 7th place above Euphoria now.
Interesting video, insightful reaction 👍
