Sorry, it wouldn’t let me edit my original post, but you all gave me such great advice, I wanted to share an update. I’m here now!
A couple people who recognized the campsite let me know there were eyelets placed all around the sides, and that is in fact the case. I made sure to pack a spool of paracord and it’s given me a great opportunity to practice my bowlines and taut-line hitches (shoutout to one of the commenters on my original post for the latter).
We had torrential rain in the area the last couple days so I’m grateful for the platform!

Platforms aren’t the softest surface, but welcome during a rain event for sure.
