welcome to another episode of Asia Unscripted i am still here in Simre Cambodia and this is the famous Pub Street so this street uh obviously it’s a nighttime street uh things are kind of dead right now it’s 5:00 p.m but I’ll take a walk through here during the day and we’ll do one at night too so this is uh the big party street so in Thailand you got Kan Road in Bangkok in Ho Chi Min City you got Boy Vienn simre has Pub Street so let’s check out what Pub Street’s all about um it’s not very far from the hotel so you can drink cheaply you got dollar beers brian if you’re watching Anchor Beer is a local beer uh it’s only a dollar or you can get a draft for 75 cents pretty good pretty good happy hour you get yourself a free shot i’m guessing it’s buy one get one so I’m guessing at night time um this place is this place probably has some loud music um we’ll come back here at night so happy hour is a big deal free pool draft beer buy one get one cocktails buy one get one i’m not much of a drinker so this this really isn’t very exciting to me so this is the uh you know how the Philippines has adobo as their main dish Vietnam has fur well this is Cambodia’s llak so it’s beef and rice in a sweet sauce it’s pretty good it’s pretty decent not bad anyho I was looking for the night market and I haven’t found it yet so that tuk tuk driver was asking me “Oh can I help you?” Uh no i need help but not a ride that’s for sure anyho they’re always trying to get you to get a ride um they actually get a little upset when you tell them you’ve ordered a uh a Grab apparently uh uh they’re against Grab oh oh my they got the fish massage here $3 an hour plus one free beer oh I might have to get that so the foot massage pretty much is uh you put your feet in there and they eat the dead skin off your feet might do that here in a in a few minutes when I’m done with the video so yeah not bad and they give you a free beer i don’t drink beer but if they want to give me a free one I’ll drink it you glutenfree people you can eat here they got some uh stuff on the menu for you so different foods they got barbecue here you got this here temple Bar apparently is open until 5:00 a.m live DJs this place serves this food you can freeze the uh video if you want to see what’s [Music] here apparently apparently they got free shows well I’m not sure if it’s free but probably with your meal you get a free show here’s some prices you want some chicken feet no it cost you seven bucks oh yeah by the way in Cambodia they used a dollar they use the US dollar uh for any purchases above a dollar um they’ll they’ll display the dollar amount if it’s under a dollar then they use their local currency local currency which is uh local currency which is the real so oh here we go so again you can come down here how are you and get soon soon yes yeah soon soon yeah when I finish this video okay how much how much $3 and a free beer $3 and a free beer oh sweet how much is that in real uh 12 12,000 okay all right can you do it can I stick my head in there no all right i’ll be back so yeah the fish the fish massage massage so good uh and they give you a free beer cost you $3 for an hour so this might be uh I might do a short video showing you how that works so so you can get a nice massage foot massage five bucks six bucks seven bucks okay looks like another alley we’ll check that out so they got a lot of massage shops here i know technically this isn’t Pub Street but it I don’t know what they call this street i’ll have to find out buy some paintings if you want some more food you can freeze it to to look at it i owe you a little bit more again you can get the uh local beer for 75 cents a glass souvenirs lot of souvenir ah this must be a souvenir street we got a Mexican place up here on the left let’s see what Mexican food cost here so there’s the prices for Mexican food [Music] excuse me pardon me all right so that’s Pub Street during the daytime we’ll come back at night maybe later tonight we’ll see anyways for Asia Unscripted this is Jason you guys uh take care and I’ll see you guys next time later
