A Night and a Day in Split | Croatia Walking Tour | Balkan Roadtrip Series
[Music] this is the second largest city in Croatia and is one of the oldest cities in the world welcome to Split Croatia on this new episode of Seven Heat [Music] [Applause] heat [Applause] [Music] we are here at Split Croatia and we drove all the way from Ljubljana directly here yesterday and we arrived in the perfect time around 6:00 7:00 p.m we’re going to stay here and see the seaside let’s go woohoo [Music] heat heat [Music] heat heat [Music] heat [Music] hallelujah [Music] for me to the glory [Music] sorry [Music] [Music] [Music] no problem [Music] you good though [Music] good very good show what is inside yum yum yum yum yum yum yum [Music] so I have just entered the old city and you’ll be able to see how beautiful it is everything especially the outdoor walls have been preserved to what it looks like a millennia ago and there’s a little small balconies and little small stairways that will lead you to you have no idea where and it’s very beautiful and until now it’s being used as homes as restaurants as shops as bars everything that would cater to the tourism industry on the city of Split and it’s like stepping back on another time most of you find it a little bit familiar because some of the scenes from the Game of Thrones series have been filmed inside this old city of Split and mostly um cities in Croatia have been filming locations of the series as well but this one is one of Now I understand why this one is one of the cities that had most scenes because it’s really enormous unlike other medieval old cities it’s just a little bit smaller and you’ll be able to see that most of those European medieval cities have renovations already done but this one looks like it was really preserved very well very very well because I don’t know if these are made of limestones but I think they are [Music] but even the flooring as you can see they are very slippery yesterday I slipped already if only I could put all of this in front of you it would be very amazing [Music] oh my god [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay [Music] [Music] okay it’s amazing to see a city that has been built 2,000 years ago and still looks like what it was and actually being used for different things on the modern times from Split Croatia this is Stevenson thank you for watching another episode of Steven’s View and I will see you again on the next one bye-bye jump [Music] in the darling
