Flying AirAsia,Southeast Asia’s & Thailand’s dominant discounter Airline know before you Go info

so if you’re going to be traveling to Asia predominantly southeast Asia you might want to take a look at Air Asia and consider them they have pretty good fairs but there are pros and cons about flying them so let’s check it out right now [Music] kindly give way for other guests to proceed to their seats please be seated according to the seat numbers shown this is the A330 along haul flight the planes are kind of dated but the fairs are real reasonable now you can pick behind the galley or the lab and probably get more leg room on certain aisles but it’s still going to be a little tight [Music] the hot seat Red Hot Seat in Air Asia unless you’re on the A330 300 400 goes like Japan and China thing it’s not going to be any more room I mean the only difference is is you’re going to be able to pick your seat and you’re going to be up front and you’re going to have priority boarding but the space because it’s an older 319 320 it’s not any bigger you see it’s actually pretty tight it’s kind of like a regional carrier so they they promote it like you’re getting something but the only reason I do it is just to get to pick you know to pick the uh seat where I want to sit but you’re not getting any more space so do [Music] [Music] [Music]

What You NEED to Know Before Flying!
AirAsia is a budget airline based in Malaysia, founded in 1993 and operating since 1996. With over 21,000 employees, it’s one of the largest low-cost carriers in Asia, serving 165+ destinations across 25 countries.

The airline has a fleet of around 254 aircraft, primarily Airbus A320 series and Airbus A330s. The A320 family makes up the majority, with over 200 aircraft flying short-haul routes. For long-haul flights, AirAsia X operates around 36 Airbus A330s, configured in a tight 3-3-3 layout with limited legroom.

Seating & Comfort: What You Should Know
For extra legroom, the best seats on AirAsia’s A330 long-haul flights are:
✅ Row 7 (bulkhead)
✅ Rows 15, 16, 17 (exit row seats)
✅ Rows 34 and 35 (rear exit rows)

Meanwhile, on A320 short-haul flights, the Hot Seats in rows 12 & 14 offer slightly more space but mainly give you priority boarding and seat selection rather than true comfort.

What to Expect Flying AirAsia
✔ Budget fares – Low-cost flights, but expect to pay extra for bags, food, and seat selection.
✔ Aging fleet – Some planes have worn-out seats and tight legroom, especially in economy.
✔ Friendly staff – Good service, but everything is pay-as-you-go for fixes or changes.
