[Music] reference if anyone’s been following this tour we got the bus at 9:00 this morning from from Kadis we’re now in Tarifa we’re sitting in one of the plazas having a red wine and lemonade and we’re going to explore hopefully the coast we’re going to stay here for two nights is it two nights oh [Music] yeah so there we are that’s the entrance to the port and that that blue and white one there is one of the fairies [Music] so we’re in Tarifa here’s your landmark porter de Tifa statue there now I’m going to give you a tip here just straight over restaurant Elkla there fresh fish in there i mean fresh fish as not as you know it i mean Jesus Christ this is fresh fish country and that’s where you go this man here will look after you go in there well the fish has arrived with on the sea bass but it’s cooked in a traditional way and served with oil and we’ve got potatoes with it we had tomatoes and tomatoes donuts and tomatoes stuff on the guns choose the fish and they assisted weighed it and gave me a price before we sat down yeah bloody lovely fish home okay Janet this is new to you a place like this as rustic as this what was your opinion is one of my favorite dishes that was a very nice lunch an easy lunch now with a nice glass of wine alberino and so would you come here again yes okay well thank you for that we’re in restaurant it’s on the plate we’re by the port and by the fairies we’re by the harbor all the locals are in here got clean plates all around i think if you’re brave this is the place to come anyway the bill has arrived and yeah all good uh they weighed the fish for us and it was €34 and that’s come out as that uh the wine yeah four glasses of really really good wine was €14 a tomato salad which is really nice and that was €8 you always end up paying some sort of services for the um service charge you know of some kind and and that’s the bread yeah so that’s fine yeah really good this TFA so look there okay see the choppiness that is the Atlantic and then of course if you go around the other side how calm it is because there’s a North Africa in the distance and that’s the Mediterranean so it’s gone five and rather than siesta we’ve come to Dana Juanos uh cuz it’s banging in here and it’s not just a family bar look at this 1906 this is the uh uh Barcelona pipe that’s got actually and you’ve got uh the wine uh vermouth from Kadib what what’s our opinion of Tarifa i like I like this place you like it and we’re coming back oh there we are then there we are north Africa north Africa in the distance that’s North Africa wow so the Tajine has arrived couscous so uh chips on top yeah lemon uh olives olives yeah chips and a leaf a leaf off the tree and a leaf off the tree so this is where we had our Moroccan we’re quiet at the moment but then we’re getting a bus to Esapona so uh we’re away but seriously loving Tifa [Music]

Tarifa we all agreed, was a lovely place to visit. Tarifa is the most Southern part of Spain overlooking the sea to North Africa.
Some come here to get the Ferry across to Tangier to explore Morocco, others brave the waves and Wind or Kite surf, as it is windy.
We however, simply took time out, half way through our Andalusian ‘Long Sleeves Tour’ and enjoyed the views, the vibes and of course, the Bars and Restaurants. This is what Travel with gamekeeper and Mrs.H do best.
This was shot on location as usual using our own footage, in March 2025. Obviously, later on in the season , it will be much busier.
This is where The Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, so the fresh fish is amazing.
