as twilight falls over Shintel Park some say two ghostly figures glide through these chapel ruins only to vanish without a trace hey everyone I’m the exploring author Aaron Hunter and today we are at Shun Park in Ashafenberg Germany a place where nature history and mystery come together now behind me lie the ruins of a chapel and this is a place where a story of faith tragedy and according to the legend something unexplained take place centuries ago this peaceful park was home to the Begins religious women who lived simply outside convent walls they built a chapel here sacred in its simplicity but during a time of chaos soldiers attacked believing treasure was hidden within they destroyed the chapel and the women were never seen again the ruins remained and while nature reclaimed much of it the past never fully faded over time there have been reports that just after sunset two silent figures returned watching over what was once their sanctuary look you don’t have to believe in ghosts to come to Shunel Park and really enjoy these ruins behind me because there are a lot of real true historical stories that are associated with this place but when you’re here maybe you do see something a little bit unexplained thank you for exploring with me today and until next time adventure awaits
