i love [Music] [Music] good morning everybody As you remember in last video I told you that I am from Zaparisia and I will show you interesting place This is really unique national park It’s called Hortex It located on the Neper River the mother land of Ukrainian Kazak Now I’m heading to the bus number 39 As usual it always full of people Let’s see what will be today But I have no big hopes for it to be empty [Music] [Music] Yeah I am officially on Cortis But look who I’ve got here Who is this huh mister Mister What mister Who is this

Oh my god I can’t believe it [Music] Welcome to Hortitza [Music] the land of the Kaks As you can see Hortita welcomes us with this statue of Kakmai Kak Mamay was a mystical Ukrainian Kak and he’s sitting with his bandura or better say in English guitar He will uh guide us all the way through and um help us to get a really funny journey [Music] [Music] So basically Hortita is a base camp for uh Zaporia Kazaks By having not so much resources Kazaks became one of the greatest powers of Eastern Europe On this lands they created a lot of fortified settlements called Sichas Right now we are heading to one of that places It’s basically a reconstruction Uh so I want to show you how it uh exactly was uh before Also on the way we noticed some wooden statues of ancient Slavic gods This connected to folk legends of extraordinary warriors with some extraordinary powers Regular kaks called themakar because they believed that this kakarik had some connection with nature with the gods with the god itself Uh because like karaknik wasn’t pagans they believed in god but also tried to understand this world better And even the famous Ukrainian Kak Ivano there is a legend uh that his last will was to uh bury him but cut his right hand and uh lead the army with this hand to help his friends to win the battles [Music] [Applause] [Music] Just keep going [Music] This is the cannon department And yeah gathered all prehistoric instruments different cannons cannons cannons Oh this is hand cannon Look at this This small one is this sticks to polish the cannons from inside There were basically basement where they collected some sort of gunpow powder fireballs and cannons [Music] This is the main house of siege [Music] This is the bedroom of we have icons on the walls Beautiful icons Handmade icons Oh this is his clothes Mar Oh he’s bad Oh it’s bed Even better than in my house to be honest [Music] [Music] flags of Kak regiments Uhhuh This is the the most important part of Kazak leadership The bulawa When Kzak took this bulawa it was basically meaning that he is the main character of Sie There were um old tradition in Kazak when they elected new koshi They just took their heads and to vote they just threw their heads on the air and they fell on the ground Then they were counted and who gathered more heads that guy became the new Mhm [Music] for [Music] for Mhm [Music] Mhm [Music] [Music] So this is the place where Kak rested between fightings dried fish It’s a hushki and some sort of porridge From one side it’s like a canteen From the other side is like a bedroom A lot of beds connected together It’s approximately so like 12 people could sleep on these benches [Music] We are entering this huge church Heat [Music] Heat [Music] on The last part of the journey we went to the highest point of island Recently it was upgraded and here opens the best view on prom [Music] Right now we can see this islands which created after the explosion of Kahoska dam Yeah soon we will be on the top of these islands and we’ll show you something something more [Music] Oh no it’s raining here Oh what the hell man we got to run to the nearby tree to cover I feel so [Music] finally rain over and we could continue [Music] It is raining again What a luck I will hunt you down Jump Oh [Music] Welcome to Ukraine my friends How beautiful is it [Music] it’s kind of the end of this short video We wanted to say thank you for watching for being with us this whole time and hope you enjoyed it Hope you enjoyed the story of Kak Hope you enjoyed the views of Hort I hope next video will be from Odessa and I’ll see you soon at the seashores of Black Sea So see you in the next video Bye [Music]
