as you may have guessed by now I use Bangkok Thailand as my hub in Southeast Asia it’s sort of my lair if you will it’s a great place to stay i love the city easy to get in and out of it’s also very economical to stay here add to that the fact that it’s a good hub it’s easy to get to other places from here in Bangkok flights are short and they’re cheap so I’m back not sure for how long till my next exotic destination beckons i’m here for now and before I go I wanted to make sure I gave it one more shot to try to find the man the myth the legend who sold me my Lanca amulet this is good luck man how much how much for the amulet right here in Chinatown last couple of times I came out here to try to find him were unsuccessful

I return to Bangkok Thailand and seek out my friend–the Amulet Man–who locals in Chinatown told me was dead. As those who follow my adventures know, I discovered the great Buddhist Monk, Luang Por Thuad, from this man, whose name I found out is Csai, after purchasing a $5 amulet from him with the legendary monk’s likeness on the coin. Since our meeting over a year ago, I have returned no less than three times to try to reconnect with my friend, but each time I went back he was not in his usual spot, and his display case covered. Will I find him alive or am I too late?
