Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel! Today, we’re embarking on a slow travel adventure to some of Tokyo’s hidden old neighborhoods. We start our day here in Ueno to taste the popular matcha desert at Yanagi Chaya. Now, let’s hop on the train and head to Yanaka Ginza! We arrive at Nippori Station, a few stations from Ueno. A small and peachful temple on the way Yanaka Ginza is just a shortwalk from the station. Yanaka Ginza is a wonderfully preserved shopping street. It’s a street with the cat theme. Look at all these charming shops and the delicious-looking street food. Let’s try some Yaki-Imo A beautiful yellow color which taste so sweet and creamy Now, let’s explore some of the smaller side streets 2 cute Maneki-Neko local seasonal fruits! The strawberry taste so nice and cheap. Let’s try some local bagels. Pumpkins paste stuffed inside bagel. Yum! Time to head to our next destination: Shibamata! This area is famous for being the setting of the popular film series. Welcome to Shimabata It feels like we’ve stepped back in time. Look at all these traditional crafts and souvenirs. Is this really in Tokyo. at the end of this street is the magnificent Taishakuten Temple. A shop filled with daruma dolls. The carvings of the temple are absolutely incredible. So much detail! The sun is starting to set. The light is just beautiful. A light up shops creating a mysteriously beautiful scenes. A *kumade*: a lucky bamboo rake. A symbols of good fortune Haikara Yokocho: A retro shopping alley and toy museum.. Let’s explore Haikara Yokocho!

Tonight, we will have Yakisoba! a local favorite in the back street of Ameyoko market. The taste, the smell, the sound, the atmosphere are all amazing! Now it’s time to head back to the hotel.
