[Music] [Applause] [Music] well hi guys It’s George from Cypress Insight It’s early morning Look there’s the sun coming up And we are off off the island for a week Last time I was here I did film it for you guys Show you Lanuka airport See what it’s like Of course you guys will be arriving and departing from here So we’ll show you Laneka airport as you depart So we are walking towards departure This is where you bring your hire car back if you’ve hired a car from the airport Euro car hurts loads and loads of car hire places And you’ll dump your cards around here The offices are here guys right next to the airport very very conveniently located car hire places Now guys when you arrive at Lanica you’d arrive on the ground floor We’re on the upper floor at departures And on the ground floor you’ll see the taxis and you’ll see on the left hand side at the far end all the buses Of course if you’re on holiday your tour guide will guide you towards the buses Yeah 20 minutes
All right Some more parking down here on the right hand side guys Now if people are picking you up they will get approximately 20 minutes free in the car park and then they will come up here to pick you up at departures It can’t be picked up privately by arrivals downstairs They have to come up here which is quite unusual isn’t it guys we’ve got a massive floating carpet There’s Costa Coffee there Someone’s picking you up They can have a coffee if they’re a little bit early Right let’s go in Sorry
There’s the machines you pay if you’ve gone over your 20 minutes
Oh yes And the machines are cool guys Pay machines just here So don’t go back to your car Put your ticket in If it’s free it’s free If you gone over the 20 minutes that I charge you it’s very very reasonable Of course if some you’re picking up somebody or someone’s picking you up here at departures it’s completely free to come here and get picked up There’s no charge for that So in we go guys Of course we are in season in summer season now so it’s quite busy Lots and lots of checkin points We obviously are not going to be checking in We’ve got just hand luggage But you can see all the departures here on the right hand side I’ll just show you that It’s a massive massive hall guys So there’s plenty of room There’s the departures and it’ll tell you where to check in Everything’s on that board guys See check in your flight your number where you’re going etc etc Really easy If you’re not leaving you fancy a coffee in here guys there is over on the left hand side If you want something to eat it’s on the right hand side If you got a problem guys all the flight operators are here on the left hand side All in the left all in a row There’s more checking posts There’s even a post office If you’re running a little bit late guys or you fancy going the express lane it’s just €6 Well worth it if you’re running really late Guess what i made a mistake If you’re late and you haven’t booked the fast track it’s €10 when you turn up at the airport But if you book it before it’s €6 Toilet there
Toilets Oh yeah toilets here More information guys as you walk through Some fancy stuff Now now we’re going on to the fancy stuff The posh stuff aren’t we we’ve got perfumes Lots of big screens Oh lounge if you booked it
Oh yes If you book the posh airport lounge it’s there on the left as you come in before the shops and stuff So smelly things You can try them if you want to More smelly stuff as you walk through Now you’ll notice there’s more and more room So plenty of room guys And we are in the se summer season So there we are Look how much room you you’ve got to relax No hustle and bustle We’ll continue round It’ll take you round towards the restaurants and the coffee shops You can get sunglasses Now as you leave this area here there’s the pay kiosks You’ll notice you’ve got chocolates water just right at the end of that particular kiosk But there are plenty of opportunities to get your water and your drink for your flight See how much room we got here This is the food market on the left hand side And
grab a few right let’s go around here shall we that’s pasta pizza cakes and sandwiches What’s this oh you can have a little meal Kiche salad
Little salad and a coffee for €10 Oh factory kitchen and bar That’s new I think And there is a food court as well at the other side You can have a Cyprus breakfast orange juice and coffee included There it is Oh that looks nice doesn’t it all that That’s €16 This is another opportunity to acquire some crisp water just at this little kiosk And then we’ve got a a big kiosk at the far end here You can acquire your water and your crisps and some chocolates
675 for a sandwich
675 for a readym made sandwich guys if you go in one of the kiosks So toco how much is that and believe was 45 for the packet what you’re allowed to take back to the UK 78 if you’re EU Right continuing on Toys for the kids and t-shirts more souvenirs if you’ve forgotten somebody or yourself As I said there’s a food court down there on the left hand side Um we have passed it and we now know where it’s down here Sorry Cuz we got this new factory sort of restaurant as well with convenient location benches and seats Now before the coffee shops and Burger King were on that side but they’re here now Massive food court There are signs Anyway there we are Go around here There’s pastas and kind of cook this fresh pasta in here There’s Burger King at the far end guys Not always open It tends to open only working hours or something like that Anyway it’s like uh 6:30 in the morning 6:00 There’s Costa Coffee guys right in the middle So we’ve established the food courts and cost a copy and all the shopping here on the left hand side Of course we’ve been through the shopping aisles and we’re going to go further back now the far end of the airport and that’s where the departure lounges are So once you’ve had your coffee your little drink you bought your smelly stuff and you might have bought your water and your crisps to go on board with You’ll carry on down here Now if you’ve forgotten your water and your crisps there are kiosks further down as well right next to the departure lounges So main toilets are here as you approach the departure lounges There we are Clearly signpost all the numbers telling you where to go Your VAT back
That’s your VAT claim back guys and exchange Now there are departure lounges on the lower level as well but they’re clearly posted Look And you can get a lift or you the escalators That’s one 11 to 18 downstairs There we are I’ll have a look at the boards as well
That’s good You can order your duty free online
Yeah They give you a number and you pick it up from them lockers
Brilliant Let’s go and have a look shall we right Let’s go over here Have a look So order your duty free If you’re entitled to duty free come around here There’s another one of these kiosks that I mentioned They’ll give you a secret number Press your little number there and one of the hatches opens Collector duty free Very clever There’s another coffee shop by the way So if you come down here it’s a little bit quieter as well It’s a little gem They’ve got cold drinks and snacks and all sorts So if it’s really busy down there near the food court where Costa Coffee is and all the shops you can always come down here at departures There’s some more toilets right at the end of departures Very conveniently located Lots and lots of seating guys There’s another coffee shop at the far end What a place What a perfect place to relax I’ve got nice cup of tea and you’ve got a coffee So there we are That’s Lanica airport We’ll see you on the way back Don’t forget to like and subscribe And if there’s somewhere you’d like me to go put it in the comments below [Music] [Applause] [Music]
