I went on a trip to Europe after a long time. This time, I traveled with my original travel buddy, my mom. A place worth visiting again and again, We spent a week in Paris, France, then took a train to Lyon. Lyon is like a small Paris, just two hours away from the capital. It’s a fun city full of murals everywhere. From Lyon to Southern France to Milan, we rented a car and drove. Annecy, a place I always dreamed of visiting. Every corner was beautiful, such a lovely little city. I’d love to return for a long stay someday. Chamonix Mont Blanc was unbelievably beautiful and peaceful. Chamonix Mont Blanc We even tried a bit of trekking. A monastery on top of a mountain, it gifted us with a day we’ll never forget. A village where the stars never fade, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. We stayed in Avignon for three nights and made day trips by car to nearby towns like Montpellier, Nîmes, and Arles, to follow in Van Gogh’s footsteps. On our way to Nice, we also stopped by Aix-en-Provence. Even the weather sparkled in Nice. We also visited Monaco and Èze from Nice. Sadly, it was time to leave France and head into Italy. We stopped by an outlet on the way, too 😆 Sirmione, a small town in Northern Italy, with Lake Garda as vast as the sea. We stayed two nights in Como too. We returned the rental car in Milan and wrapped up our trip. A collection of European romance, our one-month journey through 20 cities in France and Italy begins now.
