Amalfi town

You can see the boat docking (with which we left Positano) at the port of Amalfi, the walk through the town to Piazza del Duomo, where the famous Cathedral of St Andrew Apostle is located (visiting it in the following video), the walk on Lorenzo d’Amalfi Street (a treasure trove of shopping opportunities, picturesque white buildings, shops and terraces with Italian specialties) and images of us leaving the Amalfi coast by boat, on our way to our accommodation, in Castellammare di Stabia and then Lettere.

Amalfi is a famous town located on the coast that bears its name, in the southwestern part of Italy, founded by the Romans in the 4th century, maritime power in the Middle Ages, with architecture with Arab-Norman, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque influences, with the Cattedrale di Sant’Andrea built in the 9th century and today a popular seaside resort.

As you realized, we are a group of tourists staying at Lettere, near the port of Castellammare di Stabia, from where we made several day trips to Capri, Positano and Amalfi, Vesuviu, Napoli and Sorrento.
