An Essential Travel Guide to Tokyo. From Godzilla to Ginza, Shinto to Shibuya, Tokyo is a feast for the senses. However, it can be hard to make sense of this sprawling metropolis. Japan’s capital has no defined centre but is instead composed of a collection of city wards, each with their own distinctive neighbourhoods. Surprisingly perhaps, much of Tokyo is very walkable, but you will need to hop on to the extremely efficient public transport network from time to time. There are some quiet corners, but not many! Dive into the maelstrom!

Where to go in Tokyo? Take a look at the different neighbourhoods and take your pick! Asakusa, Harajuku, Shibuya, Odaiba, Ueno, Akihabara, Shinjuku, Maranouchi, and Roppongi are all featured in this film. Combine must-see temples and galleries with great shopping and quirky eating.
