my old stomping grounds this is Forbestown in fabulous Bonafasio Global City here in Metro Manila Philippines and as always things are changing one of the best changes I’ve seen recently is they put in an Encanto like tap room it’s like a local Filipino craft beer house not that you didn’t have a craft beer house up at the tap station but they’re kind of tucked away and you kind of had to go during happy hour cuz it’s a little pricey but not that all of BGC isn’t a little pricey nowadays so Mano Tap Station we’re going to check that out that is good there is a new Mexican John Mamas i feature that here on the channel excellent gourmet Mexican food and let’s take a quick look down the strip forbestown has pretty much got it all now a new Thai restaurant they’ve got Sam Jupal Middle Eastern Japanese Korean Filipino French Pinoy Fusion they’ve got organic and a number of little different types of cafes Mexican and different types of more lounge style nightlife bars it’s a great spot to chill and hang forbestown and BGC in general is set up for alikart dining it’s sort of like I don’t know theme of the city you can go anywhere sit outside at a nice table and eat or drink or both when you roll through the metro it’s not always first world BGC vibes in between Global City and Makatti you’ve got the Barangai villages the day-to-day lifestyle of the Philippines it can get pretty chaotic but some people like that vibe on top of the IM Hotel in Makotti is one of the nicest roof deck sky bars it has a fantastic 360° view of the city there is an upscale Filipino fusion restaurant here called Antidote the Jellyfish Bar and by no means is this place cheap there used to be cocktail tables set up out here but there’s still plenty of seating upstairs and inside if you want the aircon you’re definitely going to have to go inside but even up on the deck on these hot months there’s a really nice breeze cuz it’s like the 30th or 40th floor up here thank you cheers there is a relatively small but unique and curated menu here views of the city at night are really fantastic from on top of this [Music] bar on to the next spot this place is one of the most premier cigar lounges in all of Metro Manil you can have a membership here but it’s not a membersonly club membership will entitle you to a locker and different types of specials and discounts on some products for Oliver we’ll take a Monte Cristo actually two Monte Cristos one for Oliver and one for Michael i got one i got I got a Lisa Apple oh you have one this is the private room we usually get but there’s so many tonight we’re in the conference room money here unless you want to do that but here no what I mean is what I mean by me starting a business here is to be start a business in the United States no we live in the Philippines work 8 hours a day being nights out with the guys are probably some of the best nights we have in Metro Manila big thanks to my friend Mr fine for hooking it up as if cigar night wouldn’t put us in the tank a couple of us made it out to the next spot this is Neon Knights and it’s recently reopened it kind of fills a void that’s been in the Publishon Makotti area for the last year or so because most week nights usually the VIP clubs aren’t really popping off i’m not saying that they can’t get jumping here and there but a spot like this they kind of got it all they got the pool tables they got the dance floor and it just tends to be that right mix of not too early not too late everything going on have a good time it’s like midweek after hours when you don’t want to be out so late that you’re actually at after hours you might think I’m crazy but I never spend more than a dollar on clothes on any one pair of clothes cuz I get just about everything I need in the palenke yeah I know it’s used Filipino but hey if it fits it fits at Mova looks like they’re stepping up the game here Pets free engines for all free drinks for ladies until 200 a.m yeah that’s what I’m talking about during the week some of these bars can be pretty chill if you just want to hang out have a drink and enjoy a beautiful Manila night during the weekend this place is going to be mad packed shoulderto-shoulder sometimes we like the chill nights like I was saying going out with the guys can be some of the best nights you have here in the metro in town with the boys is how we do it but when your guys are in town well it’s not always an early night and that’s why we’ll hit a spot like this secret Thor this is after hours and it’s early as you can see it’s relatively chill but within a couple of hours by 3 or 4:00 a.m this place will be jumping off packed house oh my god all right how are you i’m good man i’m escaping before the sun comes up that’s a good sign right cuz when you go home after the sun comes up yeah kuya knows all right so rolling out a secret door like absolute most bomb afterhour spot you could possibly imagine at least in publishing outside of Lucky Al yeah oh god so if you roll out of secret door drunk AF you know what I’m saying you’re like “Oh I got to get some food baby i got to get some food.” But you got a couple options in Manila but if you want it simple you want it good you’re like “I roll out of Secret i roll up to Secret boom all good.” And I’m tempted i am super tempted i’m telling you right now but it’s like Wednesday night and I was out way too [Music] late look jumping out of a jeepy duck walking functional fitness can you duck walk thankfully there’s more and more great places to get a craft pint around here crafties are my thing even though I kind of have to limit them the nice thing about the crafties is that there’s just such high ABV that they kind of limit themselves but one place I really like to go for a really good selection and draft of beer is The Perfect Pint they’re actually all over the metro uh some of the nicer malls and condominiums like this one have a perfect pineum in case you didn’t know we’re in Condoland today and you know what condoland could be BTC it could be uh Eastwood City today it’s Rockwell perfect time baby let’s go she doesn’t want to be on video so the elevator oh let’s go anyway this is the Rockwell Leisure Club one of the big boys is here tonight he’s like “Bro you Rockwell?” He’s like “Come on down.” I’m like “All right let’s go.” He’s like “I’m by the pool.” Like “Sounds good.” I didn’t bring my bathing suit but it’s not like I won’t jump in with my clothes on all right let’s go we went down one right yeah one i’m not sure oh I think maybe there we’re just we’re winging it we never been so it is a big spot and it is quiet it’s nice lovely all right let’s find my boy i was very impressed by the Rockwell Leisure Club it was classy very high-end there have got to be a couple of different types of membership levels here the facility is not only nice but it’s huge i got a bit of a look around when I got a tour there are four gyms in this spot and a virtual golf simulator i could spend an afternoon doing this for sure you know there’s so many elements and levels in Manila but there’s private clubs like serious private crazy clubs like boys that hook up like you have no idea what’s going on and like oh my god like you want to go next level Manila you got to connected to the real kings I’ll show you what’s going on take a
