The lively atmosphere makes you feel excited just by walking around♡ Asakusa is home to a wide variety of delicious foods and sweets, from traditional to modern. This time, I will introduce shops that are popular among Japanese people and those that are trending on social media. Now, let’s start my Asakusa food tour! This is a shop where you can eat “The Strongest Matcha Gelato in the World.” The strength of Matcha is divided into 7 levels. I have ordered No.1 and No.7💚 No.1 has a strong milky taste, and No.7 has a strong matcha bitterness and aroma that fills my mouth. Beautiful green gradation! This is a must for matcha lovers. The place I’m heading to now is an eel specialty store that’s popular on social media. On holidays, you often need a numbered ticket, so I recommend getting there early. I have bought grilled eel rice ball. This is eating space. The fluffy eel and sweet sauce rice ball are very delicious😋 This shop is popular for its oversized Taiwan fried chicken. I ordered “Taiwan Karaage Zajipai.” Look at the size! The taste made me want a beer🍺 My next destination is a popular shop that serves Menchi (minced meat cutlet) made with a blend of brand pork and Japanese black beef. The surface is crispy! And it has a strong flavor. This also goes well with alcohol👍 I came here to buy my favorite sweet potato dessert🍠 This is another classic popular shop. It’s creamy! Wow, that’s awesome💗 Rich and sweet, it’s happy time. Next, go to “Asakusa Nishisando Shopping Street.” This shop is famous for its melon bread, which always has a line. It is often introduced in the media. Melon bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside🥰 I came to a popular Monjayaki restaurant. To say it simply, Monjayaki is Okonomiyaki with a lot of water in it. There are already a lot of customers here. The interior with Japanese atmosphere is also nice. Happy time♡ If you ask for it, the waiter grill it in front of you. Let’s eat! The overcooked Monjayaki is also delicious. This food with the garlic flavor was also delicious. Next, I’d like to introduce another Monjayaki restaurant. The waiter also grill it right in front of you at this restaurant too. The appetizer is an omelet made on a griddle! Next is Monjayaki! Woahhh🤤 Monjayaki and Ajillo were both delicious and very satisfying💛 This shop is famous for its Matcha Mont Blanc, which is a hot topic on social media. Oh wow!✨ This is fun to look at. The taste was normal. You better have a drink ready because the taste was quite rich! Next, I would like to introduce the breakfast buffet at a hot spring hotel in Asakusa.
