AIX-EN-PROVENCE, France 4K Walk – the City of Fountains, art and Provencal charm

Hello friends! Today we are in the lovely city of Aix-en-Provence or simply Aix. Aix is located in the southern part of France in the region of Provence. It has a rich history which started as a Roman city. It came into great prosperity during the Renaissance and this period has shaped much of how the city looks today, leaving behind elegant mansions, fountains and charming squares. The city is also famed as the birthplace of the artist Paul Cezanne whose artworks reflect the beautiful landscapes of the area. Aix is the perfect place to enjoy the simple pleasures of life – sit at a cafe and soak in the relaxed atmosphere, enjoy fresh food at the Provencal markets or stroll the maze of streets to admire the charming architecture and elegant fountains. We loved Aix so much and we hope we inspire you to visit.
