Corsica – Calvi The Untouched Beauty of the Mediterranean | Summer 2025
[Music] It’s no wonder Kosika is called the island of beauty. It’s famous for its wild charm, rich heritage, and the pride of its people. I spent almost 2 weeks in Calvie and I’ve got plenty of photos and videos to give you a little taste of Corsica if you haven’t been yet. [Music] Cali is a town in northern Corsica in the Balani region. It’s known for its beautiful bay lining with pine trees. If you get the chance to visit outside the busy summer months like in May, June, September or October, you can enjoy shallow waters for swimming without the crowds. [Music] You can’t miss a citadel that watches over Calvie. If you feel like a walk, take your time to wander through its narrow streets and soak up the amazing views. [Music] When you think of food, cold meats come to mind right away. Kopa, Lonzu, and more. [Music] Don’t forget to try the cheese called filleta made from ships milk. If you’re like me and don’t like strong flavors, a little thick jam will soften it nicely. [Music] If you love Mediterranean seafood, you won’t be disappointed. Crab, sea bass, seabbream, prawns, and red mullet are just some of the fresh delights here. [Music] [Applause] Can’t decide between hiking or swimming? Don’t worry. At the Riverata, you can do both. This beautiful trail winds through the Mcki along the sea, dotted with small coves. The water here is among the purest in the entire Mediterranean, a real paradise. [Music] Calvie and Corsica in general offer an authentic experience where nature, culture and the relaxed space of life come together.
