Schwaben Park was DESERTED!!! First Ever Visit Vlog

Hello and welcome to Schwarban Park in Germany. My name is Matt. This is the Coaster Giant channel and here’s what’s coming up in today’s vlog. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on your own at a theme park? Well, that’s pretty much what today is. So much so that I didn’t even get enough visuals to make an intro for this vlog cuz there was only probably 10 people there. Three of them were us. So, we never really got to see any rides moving unless we were on them. It was cold. It was wet. I’ve got a bit of a stomach bug. I was really tired. And yeah, it wasn’t the best day. But in this vlog, I do give you a full tour of the park, show you all the different attractions we saw. Um, we had four different roller coasters to get on. Um, and yeah, I imagine it’s an amazing place in the sun with a big group of mates. Um, but yeah, it’s a very, very interesting day out this one. So, let’s just get straight into it. We’ve just arrived and there’s probably 20 cars in the car park. We’re just wandering down this road. We think this is the entrance somewhere around here. So, yesterday we were at Europa Park. We did a full park day and then we did Traumatica there scare event last night, which means we’re quite tired today. We have just driven up um this morning which has taken uh 2 hours and 45 minutes. Quite an easy drive, pretty much all motorway. Um so yeah, very easy if you do hire a car to get here. It’s very much a small regional park. And you know what? I know I’m being a bad vlogger right now, but I don’t know an awful lot about it apart from the fact that it’s got a coaster over there themed chickens. There’s another coaster here, and there’s a really weird coaster just there with that cover over the track. Um I don’t even know what they’re called. I don’t know if there’s any more coasters. I’ve just seen the picture of a Tobogen on the way in. So it looks like it’s Tobogen as well. But um this is the park. It’s just a small one. It cost we paid on the gate. It was £28. Um which worked out flash it was like £23. Um and that was the on the gate price. So I think it’s pretty good value really cuz it looks like there’s quite a few attractions here. The rain is terrible right now. It’s been fine all the way, but um we’re kind of up in the in the hills. We drove up a lot on the way here. And um yeah, the higher we got, the worse the weather got. So fingers crossed we will get a break in the weather because I don’t think some of the coasters run in the rain. This is a station. There’s eggs. And that’s the uh very weird looking inverted coaster which is just two seats flying around there. That looks quite fun actually. And this is the coaster with theme to chickens. I’ve never been on a coaster like this before, this design. So, um, let’s go on and see what happens. So, it’s so quiet here today. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to get any footage. I’ll have to force these guys to go back on so that I can record this coaster going. Um, oh my god, that’s awful. One of the worst coasters I’ve ever done it. There was no It gave nothing. Like, the best bit was the little drop into the station at the end. But um there’s a be warned there’s a massive lump in the seat that goes between your legs and I sat on that. So I was in a lot of pain straight away and then yeah it’s quite cool. You get a great view from the top. I was facing outwards like that way towards Hum Bum. Um I’ve got nothing good to say about that apart from the views. The views were great. It takes this layout really slow and there’s usually a really cool soundtrack but it wasn’t on today. Okay, next up we’re doing Hmel Brummel, which is this weird 2CS suspended coaster. Um, this is a lot of plywood. Uh, honey, lots of honey for bees, obviously. Okay, it’s a massive station for this coaster. It’s just very strange. You know what? That was actually a lot of fun. So, that was a powered inverted coaster. It’s a little bit reminds me of an alpine coaster because you have a lever that you control the speed yourself so you can go faster or slower. Obviously went faster all the way around. It was good. It was really smooth. Um I’d definitely go on that again when it stopped raining cuz I am soaked after that. It’s a bigger layout than it looks as well. You’re on there for well over a minute. We’re going to try and find something inside now. As I said, we don’t know anything about this park. The rain is coming down so we need to get a bit dry after that one. We’re all soaked. So what are we doing? We’re playing with water. This fell. He’s pumping water out of here. I don’t know. We’re becoming like flood control experts or something. God, I’m knackered. It’s going to make the wheel go. Come on. Yes. Oh, knackered. My god, this place has got like a little zoo as well. Chimpanzeee. Look. Oh, look at him shouting under the fire. Chimpanzeee. I love chimps. Come on, mate. You can actually buy nuts to feed them. Look, they’re €50. And then just put them in that tube. They’re 50 cents. It could be 50. Uh, and then they put them down that tube. You feed them. I wonder if you’ll come over if you do it. Oh, there’s another one down there under the tire. Oh, balloon machine. Last night, me and CLA were talking about how we need to start saving money. And here we are. Oh my god. Oh, and another stick. Oh my god. I just went bang. Oh, it’s bigger than We found the show. It’s on every hour. I think it’s animatronics. It’s quite big in here. Oh, we’ve got birds and lovely curtains. The music started. We’re ready. We’ve got movement. 3 minutes in of music. [Music] Oh wow. Oh my god. Oh my god. [Music] [Music] [Music] in German. Oh my god. Hello. Hello. Oh, there’s a toboggan run. That’s going to be nice and wet today. The sky just keep getting brighter, so hopefully we’ll have a bit of luck soon. But then there’s loads of animals around this park. I genuinely never knew that. These were definitely talking in German to us. So, it looks like the animals are all just kind of in amongst the rides. I wonder if it originated it as a zoo. Let me know in the comments if you know. Call them gate goats. They’ve got the right idea. Standing on that roof, though. He’s got a right good mullet. Huge. [Music] God, imagine if we just open that door now. definitely kill us. Yeah, he looks cool. Hi. Same to you, mate. I see some more coaster track over there. I thought there was only three coasters. That’s a nice surprise. Oh, got some boats down here. Don’t think it’s open. Is it open? So, there is a log flume here as well. It’s one of like the traveling circuit ones, but um I don’t think it’s open today. There’s no water in the trough. It does say operates every hour. One on one off, but um yeah, it’s not doing anything today, but we don’t need it cuz we’re soaked. Time for a little little coaster. I’ll investigate what this actually is afterwards. So, that was just a little Zierra coaster. Same as Dino Chase from Poland’s Park, if you know that. Very little coaster. Um really weird. Like the staff didn’t come out the ops box. There was only us three on it. didn’t check our restraints and um yeah, just sent the train with the other seats and the restraints just just open. So, next up, they’ve got a power bobslay. I thought it was just going to be one of them that you run on it. Okay, now I feel terrible. We can’t go on it in the rain, so the guy is walking around the whole tracking it off. That’s mad. This park is so weird. Okay, that was quite good. Oh, we’re speeding up. I thought this was weird. That was actually quite good. and got up quite a lot of speed. But um he didn’t drain it very well. There was a big puddle at the bottom of the first drop which like splashed all over my arm. Um I do like them that that picked up quite a bit of speed. What I didn’t realize is you’re supposed to get off here and I was like it just it was going really really slow when I just filmed it and I was like why is it going so slow? But then I just stayed on till I went through that bit and then I got off and I was like there’s no exit. So yeah, this is where you get off. I didn’t did you realize? I didn’t realize. I bet this park actually gets really busy in the summer. There’s um some of the Q times on the buildings for like the coasters are like posting like 60 minutes like from certain points. So, they must get busy. They’ve got a pretty cool looking shooting thing here. Give that a go. I wonder if that’s like that thing in CBB’s Alton Towers where you shoot at each other. Um yeah, every a lot of places are closed. I I can’t actually believe that this park is open today. When CLA was planning this trip, it was quite difficult to find parks that were open midweek. Um, and I can totally understand why other German theme parks shut midweek in September because we’ve probably only seen about 10 people today. So, a lot of these things are like open for an hour. I don’t really get what that means. We don’t know what’s going on. Got quite a new looking pirate ship here. They got polar bear ice cream vending machines. They’re cool. Got nice bins or animatronics. Right, we’ve um think we found a restaurant and we’re hoping it’s open cuz nothing else is open for food. The restaurant is actually really good value. Beer. Half a liter of beer is only 370. That’s a good start. And then you’ve got um schnitle and chips, spaghetti bolognese. You got noodles and meat salads and then kids stuff. So, yeah, proper meals in here. I’ve never heard of any of these drinks, though. So, this meal was only £98p when converted into pounds. So, not too bad. Massive portion of chips. Let’s try it and see if it tastes as good as it uh looks. This is actually a really nice restaurant themed to like a farmyard. There’s chickens and stuff everywhere. Really nicely themed. for sweets, chips, and ice creams as well. Up here, there’s a little cube boat ride down there. There’s some dodge in there that are quite cool, actually. Lots of flashing lights in that building. And then there’s like this just little things like this dotted around where you can like build structures. Um, little upcharge attractions. [Music] Okay, let’s see if we can get on this. This is Force One. It’s a Ziera coaster. Quite big for this park. Really be interested how this rides. So, there is one of the big tractor track rides as well. And really cool play area in the middle. That balloon is actually a big climbing frame. Okay, there’s a little monal up here as well. There’s a little drop tower. There’s lots of little rides for kids, which is um really cool. Oh, they got one of these pulley up things as well. I’ve literally not got the energy for that today. There’s quite a big monail. Apparently, it’s a self-powered one as well, so one that you have to pedal. They’ve got water slides. They’ve got one of these towers as well, like you’ve got at Pton’s Park in the UK. Looks like there’s some more food in there, too. So, I’ll be honest. We’re having a wander around to show you what all the rides are. There’s a little pony trek there as well. It looks like it’s self operated, which I’d actually quite like to do, but um this weather is horrendous and I’m pretty cold. So, yeah, I’m not doing that. There’s another little log plume. What? So, the big log flume is just over there. There’s a little kids one there, but that’s a soaker. Definitely not getting on that. Oh, and a little cute train as well. Oh, we in a dead end. It’s a weird layout in this park. Lots of dead ends. There’s a little kids area. It’s all undercover. And there’s actually people in here. They’ve got tiny little dodge. Oh, they’ve got a play area and some little jets as well. Oh, this is cool in here. Some arcade games, too. It’s a big old building for these few rides. Okay, if it’s open, we’re going to check out Azura. This is the park’s dark ride. I am not sure what to expect. I’m sure it’ll be weird and wonderful. Okay, so it’s a dark ride come fountain show. Feels like we just go around this little show. It’s a bit quiet in here in terms of the audio, but um this is cool. Stinks. [Music] This ride looks actually pretty good. It’s not open today, unfortunately. But it’s like a little frog hopper type ride, but it’s actually like half a train on the circuit. So, um yeah, never seen anything like that before, but I bet that’s fun when it’s operating. That water ride, the dark ride, um it was actually good. Like the fountains and the lighting were really good. I do feel like I’ve like inhaled a load of mold stuck in there. Um yeah, cute attraction though. Uh, and that’s pretty much the end of our day here. I think if it was sunny, I’d be doing loads more rides. And I could easily make a good half a day, maybe even make a full day out of it if you really wanted to, and reride all the coasters and do all the flat rides a couple of times. And obviously, if there was weight times on the rides, then that would add to it, too. It’s all on a hill. I’m a bit out of breath. So, that is it for this vlog and our time at Schwaban Park, where you can buy eggs on the way out. I don’t know if this was all like originally a farm or I don’t know any of the history of it. It’s a really cool place for families. It’s hard for me to judge when we’ve literally seen probably 10 other guests around the park today. Probably double the amount of staff. Um and it’s been horrendous weather. It’s actually cold as well as wet. But we came here to get the coasters and they’re quite unique. They’re not great. But I’m so glad I have come to do them because I’ve always wanted to come and do that chicken coaster regardless of wherever I uh think it’s any good or not. Now it was worth doing. Yeah, I imagine in the sun with group of mates or for families, it’s a really fun park and there’s lots of little rides for you to do in there. Um nothing really stand out. The um the main coaster was pretty junky and pretty rough. Um and the restraints felt a bit questionable. I actually held my dad down that time. I’m sure it was safe, but I was a little bit nervous. And yeah, sorry if I’ve been a bit flat today. I’ve been cold, I’ve been wet, I’m tired, and I actually don’t feel very well. But we’re off the trips drill now. We’re staying on site in a lodge, which we’re excited for. And that’s where the next vlog will be. Next stop on a little tour across the South Of France and Germany was to Schwaben Park. Sadly week day visits at the end of September do not seem popular with the locals leaving us as pretty much the only people visiting the park that day. A combination of being a little bit ill, the weather being very wet and cold and there being no other guests around left the park feeling soulless. Never the less we managed to ride all of the weird and wonderful coasters on offer as well as a very unique indoor boat ride.
