VISITING BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES & SIGHTS IN MALLORCA (Valldemossa, Deia, Soller and more!)
[Music] Hola. In our previous video, we showed you Palma de Mayora. what to do, see, and eat there. In this video, we will take you for a tour around the most iconic sites in different parts of the island of Mayora. If you want to explore the island, it’s best to rent a car like we did. Driving around Mayora is pretty easy. The distances are short, the roads are very good, but beware of peak hours around touristy areas and in the summer in particular, cuz it gets quite busy. So, come with us and let’s visit Mayora together. Yeah. [Music] Quality. bus got stuck. We got stuck and that one is like staying there. We visited the cap deform area to see the iconic lighthouse and enjoy the breathtaking views. The scenic road is beautiful and the sunset is the ideal time to visit this part of the island. You can drive along this road, but beware you can’t drive past the car park of Forementor Beach as you’ll get fined if you enter the private road leading to the lighthouse. That’s the point where buses pick up people who want to get to the very top where the lighthouse is. We didn’t go up there and we decided to stop and enjoy the sunset at the very popular viewpoint called Mirador Esome which we highly recommend. [Music] Lord only knows what it took to make it new. Like a blossom of a tree or the color of a jewel. So divine is the feeling that I find like a sweet mountain bricks in a fragment of my mind. I said, “Darling, you are all I want for sure. Darling, you give me everything and more.” I said, “Darling, [Music] yeah, girl, you know I miss you. [Music] The next day, bright and early, we decided to drive to three pretty villages and towns in Mayora. Vald Deosa, Dia, and Soy. [Music] Some souvenirs. you can buy in Mayoka include Telas de Lingua or the traditional Mayokan fabric with its distinctive geometrical pattern as well as the traditional local foods such as the famous soberada which is a soft spreadable pork and paprika sausage or pastries such as coca de tro a savory vegetable flatbread which looks a bit like a square pizza coca de pata A round puffy bun, interestingly made with potato flour, which is typical in Valosa. And of course, the traditional sweet pastry of Mayoka in Saada Mayorina. [Music] [Music] [Music] Sleep [Music] [Music] with me. [Music] [Music] Yeah. [Music] [Music] After a long day of walking in the sand, we had a Quick stop for some informal tapas lunch by the seafront in Sojier. [Music] We had pimentos de padron which are fried small green peppers. You find them in any tapas bar in Spain. A serving of mixed crocettas which is an assortment of Spanish croettes made with a bashimal filling and different flavors typically ham or tuna. We also had some alondigas or meatballs in sauce. And last but not least, we had some fried calamary rings with the mandatory drizzle of lemon on top as we like to have them in Spain. Soldier has two areas you must visit. The port and the old town. You can hop on the classic tram and ride along both parts in a single trip. We drove to both places and explore them on foot. Okay, we are in our last stop which is Soyer and it’s very hot in the afternoon. Now we are going to the uh church. There’s nobody on the street except for tourists. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Applause] On our last day in Mayora, we had a chilled breakfast and we enjoyed the last hours making the most of our hotel. We went to the beach, enjoyed the sand, and got ready to visit the last site on our list, the caves of Dra. [Music] Wow, it’s huge. It’s huge. Oh, there’s a lake. This is a lake. Oh. Oh my gosh. Why? It is huge. Look at the hooks. Wow. Dra is means the caves of the dragons. Oh, that’s why all the dragons that I saw like in the souvenirs the house of a dragon. There are some small lakes here and there. And it’s such a clear water, right? Yeah. This is an unforgettable experience you cannot miss as you not only visit the magnificent caves, but you also have a classical music concert in the depths of the cave with its beautiful acoustics followed by a brief boat ride on the way out of this truly magical experience. You know that there is a river that people live to cross when they die to the other world. Yeah. It was like the river of sticks. Yeah. It’s a bit like that. Was it in Lord of the Rings that they went like on a boat ride like this? [Music] Stop. [Music] Happy.
