Thailand Travel Update 2025 | India to Thailand Journey Weather, Covid, Room Tour

After a 15 day trip to Europe,
I am standing once again at the IGI airport and after a gap of 15 days, I
am going from Delhi to Bangkok for next 15 days . So in this video you will see my
journey from India to Thailand in 2025. Also, is it the right time when I
travel in June? Is it a right period to travel to Bangkok or
anywhere in Thailand ? And at the same time, we will see
in this video the current situation of COVID. Is everything normal or not? Whatever you
are hearing in the news. Let’s say my meal has come to me. And
let’s see what I am having. This is Kulcha. Rice Palak Paneer is there. Aloo Gobi and
fruits, something in desert. Now let me tell you how was my airport experience,
I am travelling with my mother who is a senior citizen, so
they did not ask anything, just scanned both our passports, took biometrics
and let us go as I am travelling with dependents, they did not ask
if I have any insurance policy or not, they did not ask anything about
proof of funds, so our immigration was absolutely smooth. We did not face any challenges there
. But I am carrying an insurance policy.
I am leaving its link in the description. So you can get that. If you
are travelling with a senior citizen, you should carry one. And this basically the policy will cost you around
₹4500. So I have given around ₹45 for it . Because if your senior citizen
is older and has dependents or has any disease already, then the charges in that
go over and above your insurance policy . I took a taxi to come from the city to the airport
because my mother is travelling with me, so I
have to pay 701 Thai Bhat including toll tax etc. because there are tolls in between, so
there are two tolls, three tolls, sometimes two tolls, actually you have to pay them
. One toll is 50 Bhat. The other is 20 Bhat and above that is the cost of the taxi
that I had booked from the airport. Apart from this, I
have taken the SIM card for 2H and if you take it from the airport, it will cost 699 for 15 days. And
if you take the same SIM card in the city, then it will cost you half the price.
Oh, well, well. So this is my AirBee room guys. Double bed is there. Washing machine,
dry mini fridge. And this is a table for eating and sitting,
there is a balcony outside and this is a sink, utensils, there is a microwave oven here and there
are provisions for cooking as well. So overall it is a nice property and here we have
cutlery and this is the outside view. Alright guys, you
can see the name of this property Formosa 359 Raksha Yothin so Rathan is actually a hotel and it also has some condo
properties here so this 359 is its address and this is its parking area
below and you can see its two blocks here one is on this side and one
is on this side on the right hand side where I am staying its address is 361 and that is 3599
so there are two blocks. Not only this, you can also see condos behind it. There
is a tall building at the back and if you go a little further you can see more condos
. Well one interesting thing I would like to tell you is that those who
are destination Thailand visa holders and want to do long term stay in the country, then
for them also a good thing here is that Formosa Sale Rent One and Four Bedrooms
Short and Long Stay. So he told me one more thing that they
also issue Team 30 forms. He asked me if I need it? I
said I don’t need it. But I have come only for 15 days. But
it will be a little beneficial for you. If you want to stay here for a long term
stay for a year or anything, you can talk to them. You
can see this other property here which is SHA Plus certified. I mean those were the days
when we used to talk about SHA hotels or properties . But now it
has no relevance. Now see this one And so here on the line you will get very good
property options if you want. The plain place,
okay and here you see this, there is a vendor in front. Rivan has brought it. So
you can easily get these fruits, vegetables etc. here
. You don’t need to go far. Everything is available below.
After this I have already given you a tour of my property but
I will show you from below. So from here is its entrance and
this is a gated property of course and this is its parking area, below this
we have started to see the swimming pool. This lady is taking me. Thank you.
So these are the lifts. My room is on the fourth floor. So here you can read
the safety management, everything etc., how to reach them, the address of their office etc.
is given. Okay guys. So, this is the property. And
you see this. This gymnasium is built here, very classy.
Excellent friend. Excellent. I had fun, I swear. And this
lounge area is made for sitting. And this side is my favorite thing. And
yes, there is workspace culture here. So office is also made.
I read magazines etc. sitting in front of the swimming pool. And yes, don’t forget to bring beer.
So you can see this. This is the pool area. And at this time no one is here. I
can see that I have paid the room charges for 15 days here
. Dirt cheap under ₹27,000 IAR and the host is also very nice and helpful
. And anyway here you find many
agents in the reception area to help. So you don’t even have any issue. Okay. Now let me
start showing you where the convenient stores are nearby? So there is
one 71 right next to my house. There is also one opposite, a little further ahead. If you
want to buy vegetables etc. then there is a supermarket called Lotus here. It is everywhere
in Thailand. And it is almost 1 km from
my property . But as I told you, you
can get vegetables right here . Cards
come with vegetables. You can buy them and you can get vegetables
at reasonable prices . Okay. So, I have reached here after walking for 2 minutes from my property . And in front of this, you
can see a 71 store in the corner. Let me show you this. This is the road.
There is also a BTS station nearby. There is also an MRT line. There is also BTS here. But
this is BTS. And this is 71 store nearby . Okay.
There is also a bus stop nearby. Now I am going towards BTS here
. There is also a fruit and vegetable market here . Let me show you that as well.
Okay guys, the vegetable market starts from here. It is just a 5-minute walk
from my apartment. And this is the metro station in front which I showed you earlier,
I have crossed it and have come here. And I have to go this way. This is the gas station.
After crossing this I can see the market in front.
Okay. So this is a local market here. Local stuff is available. But you see, the useful
thing here is fruits, vegetables, ginger, garlic, radish,
carrots and small items are available to eat. Today
very good vegetables have come here. Fruits are available here
at very reasonable prices . And street food is also available. So
this is a very big market. Right now I have bought 71 essential things
for myself. So here you see there are two beer cans. There is a milk bottle. This
is a packet of peanuts. One is these wafers. This is a soda bottle. This is brown bread. And
this is jam. I will tell you the total bill for this . It is 268 Thai Baht.
26875 Thai Baht. There are vegetables here as well . So just as I
have shown you the local market here, I have bought four potatoes,
four onions and four lemons. So the total bill for this is 90 Thai Baht. I am currently at Chado Chakgang Weekend Market

No one is wearing a mask. Everything is normal. And when it comes to the weather, I am
here in June, today’s date is 21st June. And the weather is quite comfortable. It is cloudy but
there is no extreme rain here. Sometimes it rains in between.
Usually it is humid. But the climate is warm you can say. Still conducive
for traveling. So I am currently in Central and near the Four Temple and we
are also going there further. So is anyone wearing a mask here and how many people
are following that thing. I am currently
on the fourth floor of Central World. I have come to buy something, I will show it to you ahead by the way and
you can also see its price. In between when it comes to Covid scare, everything
is normal here. You can see that no one is wearing any mask etc. You
can go anywhere. Things are normal as usual business as usual looks what I am buying today DJ Osmo
Three Pocket Three Creator Combo total cost is 22950
Thai Baht because with this I have to take data card also so that
is for 256 and with this is Creator Combo I am currently on Ashoka Road. Behind me
is Terminal 21 and on this side is The Western Grand Hotel. And let me tell you that
you will not even see the scare of Covid here . No one is wearing a mask.
Very rarely you will see people wearing masks . Today is June 23rd and let me tell you
that the weather is also sunny. You can see already. So there is no problem of weather in June
. It rains, there are intermittent rains in between. It
is cloudy. After that it becomes sunny again. So the weather is also good for traveling and this time
is also good. One thing I am noticing is that I am seeing very few Indian tourists here .
There are fewer Chinese tourists. So this is the right time to visit for those who
want a peaceful atmosphere. I am currently near Soi Coyboy and things are normal
here too . There is a lot of traffic here even in the afternoon. Otherwise
, no one is talking about Covid here . Everything is just normal.
Welcome to Mikan Sky Walk by King Power and I am on its 74th floor. Is
there any scare of Covid here ? I will give you a tour now. No one
is wearing a mask. So you can see beautiful views. But you should also notice that there
are very few people. And today is June 24. So this is the perfect time to visit guys
because it is sunny right now. It is a little cloudy . There are intermittent rains. As
I told you earlier. Welcome to another beautiful day in Bangkok.
I am currently near Pahut Market Little India and today is June 25. So
you can see the weather, this morning there was a notification of heavy rain warning
on my phone. But actually it is not raining. It is all sunny. And secondly you
can see that are people here worried about Covid? Nothing.
Business as usual once again. This is the view of Lumphini Park, you can see it from close.
Another beautiful spot to relax in the afternoon and sunny day. But today it
is a little cloudy as well as sunny. So, this is a perfect time I can see the contrast. You
know of the sky. Oh this beautiful lake. Even in metro stations,
if you see MRD lines or BTS etc., I did not find any such issue. No one
is wearing a mask. Limited people are wearing it here. Whenever I come to Bangkok and
see their condos, shopping malls , then I notice that
the business here is not going very well. It is almost empty.

Ok, so right now I am near Central Rama Na Mall which
is near Phra Ram Nine Station. It is very close to Sukhwat. And I definitely recommend you
to go shopping here if you are in Bangkok. Come on. In front is the Fortune Tower and
Central Rama Nine, both of which are of equal height. So let’s go straight
inside. How is the weather here? You can see that today is June 26. It is cloudy but
chances of rain are less. It is very cloudy but I don’t think
it will rain very heavily here. I have already entered the Phra Rama Nine Mall. You can see
that the crowd is very less and I have seen only a few people wearing masks
here . Finally, today on June 27, it is raining
in Bangkok, so overall the weather in the month of June is fine. And
even if it rains once in these many days, still this period of June is very good for traveling.
I am currently near the Central Embassy. You can see the weather today is June 28. It is
cloudy but also sunny. Perfect time to visit Bangkok. June 29th. So the rains
start in late June and for at least three days I have been seeing that it is raining and it
is raining heavily but it lasts for a short while. So this time is still good.
If you want to travel before the last week of June, you can plan your travel. Today is July 1st and it is raining in
Bangkok. So you can understand whether the period of July is good for visiting
or not. Almost suspended raining all day.
It does not rain much but it rains suddenly . Then it stops suddenly. Then it starts again.
So everything is going like this right now. So June is the best period. And today I want to
take a little opportunity and talk about Gab Bolt taxes. People say Bolt
is very cheap. It is very cheap, very cheap. Definitely it was cheap once and the service that
was there earlier was also very good. But now things are not like that. To be honest. Open the Bold app
. You can see the cheap fares . You book because you
think it is cheap. But when you board and reach your destination,
it becomes quite expensive for you. That is, you can see that yesterday
I was coming from Terminal 21 to my apartment hotel and the
distance was about 9 km and the fare shown to me for 9 km was
around 187 baht.
157 I am sorry 157 and there was waiting in between I am assuming that there is traffic and
there are waiting charges, all these things are fine but are you ready to accept
that your fare can be reduced by 157 Thai times 200 watts how much difference does it
make, toll is charged separately one more thing is that nowadays all drivers prefer
to go through toll only, there are some who ask you if you want to go through toll or not, if not then
some take you through toll and you pay 50 Bhat ₹ 100 extra for that and go.
Where as if I talk about Gab drivers are professional I
have not faced any problem even once. Although it is okay it is a bit pricey than Bolt on Bolt
which can be more expensive to be very honest. Okay? Where you
book after seeing the main fare. Because the drivers who drive
are local taxi drivers who are driving under it. And I don’t know what method they have but
they have a screen. On that the charges keep getting updated. According to that
they can charge you the highest price accordingly . This is what
I know to be honest, I may be wrong . But I am telling you that
Bolt is not cheap. So you can prefer Gabs because the car
comes to your spot in 2 or 3 minutes. The same thing happened today for the second day. I mean my fare
for Bolt was 87 Bhat. But when I came here I was coming to Alamfini Park.
From Mahan Skyv to here which is about 1.7 km. And the fare I have quoted for it
is 122 Bhat. So you can imagine how much variation there is. I will not recommend
using Bolt any more because I don’t know how much they can overcharge you.
So better use Gabs only for now. Alright. So let me tell you how did you like
