24 Hours in Tours, France π«π· I 6 Must See Spots
Good morning. I’m in T. T is a cute nice city in the valley. It’s far away like 30 minutes from Ambroad and it’s one of the spots that you definitely have to see. So, I’ll spend just a few hours here and I’ll try to make a walk tour for you. So, I just been to one special spot in the zone of health and I just did cross. Sorry you couldn’t see it. It was delicious. It was really soft and nice and a little bit crispy on the flaky actually on the outside. Reason why I stopped here because this bakery is bakery that is famous for fresh buttery pastry. Um and today I’m going to show you actually what you can find there. This is the spot where you should go. So this is kind of hidden place because it’s not in the city. I mean it is kind of city center but not in the area where there is lot of lots of walking pedestrian streets. Um but it’s quite close actually to the to the parking place. So actually you park, you go have your breakfast and you’re good to go. So this one it doesn’t um date back you know in the medieval age medieval times like some buildings around um it’s not so Asian but they keep um the way how they look and actually the using classic baking techniques to make high quality um pastry. Um, usually they use, as far as I know, locally sourced ingredients. Try to keep this kind of old world charm. They make those violis, viis anyway, pastry that can reflect the century old recipes. So, I tried our already person and it was really delicious. [Music] Maybe you don’t know but there is some interesting thing about Carson. So I don’t know do you know where Carson come from? Like um there is a pretty cool story. I hope it’s true but I think it is originally um comes it’s kind of not comes but it’s linked to Vienna and it’s from 17th century approximately. They were making bread roll called keep fereral that was actually um from the Ottoman Empire. So Ottoman empire were defeated in battle in Vienna that was in 1683. Um and they bakers were actually inspired by the pastry they made in under Ottoman flag. So cafair was made just for celebration. They wanted to enjoy the food and taste something new and they liked it. So what happened then in around 18th century when Maria Antonet was as a Austrian she married Louis 16 or 17 16 I think and he br this delicious treats that uh was made in France and French loved it and actually they tried to kind of transform it uh they used more butter because in in the the first one there is butter but it’s differently made. You just put everything, make a dough, and then roll it and fill it. If you know Serbian klitz, that’s kind of pastry. And I will show you here. So, it looks like this. But I wanted to use more butter and to make it flaky because butter when you cook it, it’s quite buttery, but it’s so juicy. Next time you enjoy some croissant, just remember that it’s not just a piece of pastry. It’s actually a history that traveled all the way from Vienna or Paris, depends where you want to be. Beside the croissant, uh it’s very popular pula. French croissant was just reshaped and filled with chocolate and that was actually panola. So it’s kind of cousin. Okay, one question for you. Are you in tin kasan or you are in team pan? That’s the first question. Please, please, please leave a comment below. And another one, are you more into sweet breakfast or you more into savory breakfast? To be honest, I’m more for savory as more as I read about the health and everything. Um, I start thinking about how I feel after my breakfast. Usually when I eat something heavy, you just want to sleep and you just start your day. So for me I prefer you will love a celery juice cold pressed celery juice on an empty stomach and that’s a that’s a recipe of medical medium. I tried it I taste it I was drinking like more than a 6 month and actually helps me a lot because I’m living in Hooks Bay where is a area full of different um allergies. I don’t know it’s kind of if it’s not um hay fever it’s some other fever. Um, so you need to actually you need to drink antihistamines or something because it’s really comes to your um sinuses and everything. So I don’t want to bother with that. But I noticed that I’m less sick. And then probably some kind of veggie smoothie. Uh, spinach is actually really cool. And I can even eat spinach salad. You can add a little bit of apple if you want something sweet. But that’s my choice. Let’s see your choice in the comment below. Now let’s go further. I’m taking you today uh for a long walk. And this walk will be we’ll see five or six spots. So if you have one day or 24 hours here in tour in L Valley in France, this is where you should go. Nois I’m not sure how to pronounce it. Okay, I’m just in front of the chocolatey that probably we will stop grab something because there’s no way we will just go without I’m just in front of chocolate and there is a question should I stop and buy something or not idea to stop and show you the M. Today we are going for a 24 hours tour. Let me show you the way. So this is our map and we were I think here that was our patici and now we’re going this way to place plumero. So while the square by itself it’s really popular. There is lots of alleyways around that they are kind of overlooked. So we will go there and show you exactly what I mean. One of the tools I like to use is the GPD. It gives me some ideas where to go in a short period of time. So you put 24 hours in Paris and they will give you best options and you can make your tour like in a 10 minutes and um enjoy the day and save your time and save your energy. Should I take this chocolate or not? It’s a tough decision. This is the hills. While we are here, we go to see plume. We’re going to pass this uh this street. They call it Dash Street with hidden gems and local shops. So, small local shops and some really beautiful architecture. But first, let’s see Nikon. [Music] So it’s I don’t see anything. So definitely good good choice to stop to the chocolate area because they have amazing cakes. Probably on the way back I need to buy some um sweets because they look amazing. And then we can taste it together. All right. As you see those buildings are really really old. I don’t know exactly from which period of time, but I know that they took like a lot to rebuild them because they were um crashed in the war. So, can you imagine to repair and put everything back? It’s quite a a big job and a big dedication. Okay, I find this post very useful. So those post like this and similar with electricity, they’re your best friends when you don’t have anybody to hold your cameras and things. So I think I’m lost. I think this is place maybe. We’re searching for decom. Look at this plant. A little detail. I love it. We are in in famous. So it’s a more attraction than hidden gem. This is kind of the heart of tour. This is a square that is fairy tale really. Sometimes some places I feel like I’m in a Harry Potter. Reminds me a little bit of that. This half timid houses actually. It’s one of the oldest part of the city. So it’s favorite place of locals. So there’s lots of cafes. There’s lots of bars, lots of restaurants. Um you have to be careful if you’re going with a family because there are lots of uh bicycle drivers. There’s lots of cyclists. They’re very fast. The buildings, they didn’t know from which century they are. They’re actually from 13th century. I would like to spend more time here because it’s so nice and cozy. I really feel I need to spend time here. And I believe even during the night it’s even better because now it’s half empty. But if it’s half empty, it’s quite good. If you have a book with you, you like to draw or you just like to watch around but have a little bit of peace. Still there is lots of people but not like probably during the after afternoon time or evening time. And see you in the next spot. [Music] Welcome to Ru National. It’s really long street and actually it’s quite um half pedestrian half there is a big trend that’s coming through and it’s really long and it’s full of different shops. So if you need to do some shopping any kind like from tobacco to some souvenirs cards um fashion all kind of fashion kids fashion adults fashion come here just almost in the end actually I don’t know where is exactly end but I’m really in the front of San Julian church um it’s quite old and we’re going to visit any minutes it’s a beautiful atmosphere inside I saw some pictures and and they look amazing. But the most interesting thing is that you can find um you can see some exhibitions. I really appreciate the thing that we when you go to church or um kind of museum that you can see some different paintings and drawings and any type of art can be installation as well. Um because kind of modern and modern art and old art and architecture can brings new style and new things that I really adore. Just next to the church, I think it should be just behind the museum that we’re going to visit. See you there. Of course, there is another everywhere, even in the church. Should we actually sit here and eat? Look at this. It’s amazing. The only thing lots of tourists will come here and make a picture of you because you’re sitting just in front of the church in buildings like this. It looks like we found the museum. I didn’t expect to be in the building with the Hilton Hotel, but that’s what it is. That’s it. So, obviously, they have a break. So, if you want to plan to come here, they’re working from 9:00 to 12:30 and then from 2 till 6:00 p.m. Oh, at the moment the museum is closed. I’m going to use that opportunity go for toilet and some drink I think. I don’t know. I’m still not so hungry because of this quant. Obviously full of butter brings good thing that I’m not hungry and maybe I’ll have a drink, maybe glass of wine or nice coldressed juice or anything. Then we’ll come back in half an hour and check the museum the cars around so they don’t go over you. Anyway, the street is really long. I’m not sure how long I’m going to walk. So, it looks like this. It’s really long and wide. I like this store. I love kind of marine style of pants or top or anything. This is very funny. You make a route. You have your plan trip what you need to do and you have 2 hours. And then there is so many other things that papaya just stopped to the Harry Potter store. So actually you can buy your magic wand. You can buy a clothes chest. You can buy everything and become a Harry Potter shop. Next is everything Wilson River. I ran out the time and I wanted to take you to this market that it’s quite practical. Our tour will change which is quite fine. And you know you don’t have to always go by default like what you meant to do like you have your plans but you are allowed to be to be distracted. That’s the way how you experience town a little bit different here. You can buy all kind of meats. I’m always for sis. This is special way how they make sausages. It’s amazingly tasty. So I’m coming from Serbia where we have good sausages. a really tasty one, especially if they’re homemade. But these ones, you know, I can eat without bread or anything. It’s so nice. This looks like Spanish style of with a Spanish flag. This looks very good. One of my favorite spot is Let’s see if there’s something interesting to buy. Everything is interesting, but I don’t have money to buy anything. and cookies. You should uh tell me, do you like this kind of discoveries and hidden gems and or you prefer just to see full attraction videos with this market? Hi. Wait. Ang I look like Italian. That’s another situation to today. Here I’m heading to the car because very soon I need to pick up Sophie and I’ll see you on my way back to stop in one of these squares to have some drink. Just a 15 minutes to chill. That’s it. It’s a wrap up. If you liked it, let me know. If you didn’t, don’t let me know. Subscribe so I I can make more videos like this. I just thought I lost the car.
