A magical dinner in Provence, France! #food #michelinguide #provence #france #frenchfood #foodie

Let me show you everything I ate at Lab Burgari, a Michelin Guide provincial restaurant tucked inside the five-star Kapalonga Resort in Bonu, France. This is the meal I was most looking forward to during my time exploring the Lubberon, and it absolutely delivered. We grabbed a table on the gorgeous terrace in the gardens with that warm provincial breeze. From here, you get a stunning view of the perch village of Banu, and if you time your booking just right, you’ll catch the sun setting behind the hills, which was so magical. Now, let me tell you about the food. Leburgy is all about seasonal modern provincial dishes cooked over an open wood fire and the flavors really shine through. Don’t worry, we’ll get to that legendary dessert buffet soon. To start, I had corette flour stuffed with herb infused poultry museline served with a corette pine nuts and pollen. Not only was it one of the most beautiful plates I’ve ever been served, it was light, fresh, and so summery, just as I wanted. The mucousine had that delicate texture that paired perfectly with the crisp corette flour. My sister kept that corette theme going with a grilled corette royale topped with crispy corette feta and a rhubarb vinegarette. So clever and so full of bright flavors. For the mains, I went for the steak and my sister had this massive pork rack. Both cooked simply over the fire with rosemary, garlic, and just a touch of you can really taste the charcoal. And it was all served with potatoes, vegetables, and a fresh salad. No choosing sides, just digging in and enjoying it all. And now back to that dessert bar. It was a showstopper. We’ve got tiramisu, provisionals, cheesecake, cookies, lemon mering, fresh fruit. Basically a dream for anyone with a sweet tooth. Honestly, one of the foodie highlights of my time in Provence.
