애증의 남프랑스 여행..🩷🌊 생폴드방스, 니스, 엑상프로방스 | 현지인처럼 자유여행 하기✨| 프랑스 국제커플, 반려견 동반 여행 vlog

After playing in the water at Verdon, we had a 2-hour drive and finally arrived at our accommodation !! Saint Paul de Vence This is the place where we will be staying for 3 nights. Since Nice is an expensive city, there are not many accommodations that allow dogs. Even an accommodation like this size costs 120 euros per night..ha Oh hellow LG Still this has a cute cottage vibes ↖️ Eww I found someone else’s hair here I wonder how old this chair is.. I was so hungry that I didn’t check the cleanliness for a while. We bought some korean ramen at an Asian store on the way. I was so excited to try 🥹 Also bought Ju’s favorite drink, Morning Sunshine (Korean rice drink) but the price is..hella expensive (similar to soju, 7-8 euros). So this is why every foreigner loves convenience stores in Korea.. Next day She was begging to go outside quickly. Whenever we travel, Chop keeps going through energy explosion-decrease-explosion-decrease cycles. I know there’s a garden over there.. Open it, open it, open it.. Chop & Ju went out first while I was getting ready.. When I came out of the bathroom, there was a half-naked person in the garden !?! He was chatting with Justin while grilling barbecue••• (They’re still greeting behind lol) Oh right.. Ju is an extrovert! If it were me, I would hide.. I realized ‘The Sims’ isn’t something people just made up.. This was a real part of their daily lives.. (The Sims : my fav) My skin was getting worse after coming to the South of France, so I applied a lot of Dr. Bio’s soothing gel yesterday. It calmed down a bit. We have any strict plans for today.. Maybe I’ll watch some Nice vlog.. to check what others do here..? Ju and I barely make travel plans — classic P personality (MBTI lol). We love open-ended trips with no strict schedules 😂 So who’s that guy outside..? The owner’s son He takes care of the house here.. He just had a towel wrapped around him haha Like he just showered lol He’s such a southern person I may not plan much but.. I never forget to pack my ice and tumbler in France🧊 Some cafés don’t even have ice sometimes, so I make sure to bring my own lifesaver ❄️ I’ve been waiting for you.. This is what the terrace looks like If I just blur out the hygiene part…
the scenery is absolutely stunning..!! That spot where the half-naked guy was grilling earlier… 😂 I wonder if southerners share gardens like this.. Interesting~ The air feels really clean here and the sky is so blue Okk so today’s plan! We’re going to a cafe by the beach in Nice. And..then we’ll think about the next plan there! haha Shiba: Is that your plan? There was a pretty castle(?) like this next to the neighborhood. Nice All these palm trees made me realize that I’m travelingㅠㅠ This suddenly hit me with all the California memories… Nice is giving me the exact vibe I’ve been missing. So quiet even in peak season… it’s perfect 🥹🌿 The sun was so strong tho.. UV levels were insane 😵‍💫 Step out of the shade for one second and your skin instantly starts to cook. (On the way to the pharmacy to buy body sunscreen) Southern fruits look gooood! There were too many sunscreen options, but I ended up going with the one from Nuxe! Last winter, I went to Marseille with a friend (unnie), but maybe it’s the season — Nice just feels more beautiful to me. But the southern summer weather is seriously sizzling 🔥☀️ Came to a cafe I found on Google Maps. Luckily, they have iced coffee!! But they said it’s hard to order slush coffee right now ㅠㅠ I had to wait a long time for the machine so I just ordered an iced chai latte ! The staff was very kind, but the cafe was too hot that we had to come outside 🥵 It was the most delicious iced chai latte I had in France!! Savva!! To get closer to the sea… we crossed just one street and suddenly this whole new world opened up ✨ But we didn’t get to enjoy the view for long… We headed back to our place pretty quickly (??) The heat was intense, and Ju and I ended up arguing again🙂‍↕️ I’m just gonna eat my sandwich (・-・) The sandwich was pricey, but tasty 🙂 hehe Hot weather + high prices + taking Choppa everywhere + our spontaneous travel style = 💥 There was a time when the two of us traveled to Vietnam, and we never fought onceㅠ But Europe is like… boot camp with a view. Gorgeous, but tough. I feel like taking some space when we hit bumps during trips is healthy, but Ju insists that it’s not safe to go solo in the south of France. He said if I go somewhere, he’ll secretly follow me from behind.. like a shadow trip 😂 Anyway, back to the point. The weather in Nice was incredibly hot ♨ Chopper kept panting so I imagined that she might be sick from the heat so we were quickly looking for a place to sit. I saw a spot with parasols, so I said, “Let’s go there!” But Ju kept saying it’s just a restaurant area and refused to go. Later, we found out it’s a beach and restaurant, and you can actually just rent the parasols. Ju’s a local, so even when I tell him the info, he doesn’t believe me or listen — it was so frustrating and ✊🏻annoying✊🏻 Me when I’m pissed: “I saw it!! Why won’t you check??” Ju said he saw a bench way over there, so we all walked about 150 m with Choppa again. But there were some homeless people and the shade was already gone, lol. Ju kept carrying Choppa because she looked too hot. Seeing her suffer made me so annoyed again. I went to check the parasol area, but they said all the seats were full and we had to wait. So we just came back for now. Ju: Why (korean)? My iconic line: Why aren’t you listening to me..? seriously..? Meanwhile, Choppa somehow got addicted to sunbathing and kept trying to come out lol Found something funny here. Korean mosquito coils in South of France lol Choppa’s the only one who really hears me out.. So much sun, Chopa’s crown fur turned brown! lol Rested with the AC breeze, now grabbing swimsuits to go out again! Already in swimsuits, ready to go! On the way, we came to leroy merlin to buy a parasol, but couldn’t find it at all.. So we came to another mall Of course, no luck. . 🏖️ Even went to the information desk and asked where to buy parasols lol After going around Monoprix-Sports Goods Store as recommended by a local, we finally found one after 5 attempts🥲 A parasol ! Costs 28 euros (It’s much cheaper than renting it) Enough enough! lol Stopped by a pet shop to buy chopper’s treats Unnie..Come back Back at the beach ^^ The good thing about traveling in summer: The days are super~~long! I’m happy because of my new parasol 🏖️ I was too worried about pickpockets to really focus on swimming. How do you all manage? I’m not great at swimming, so I let Ju have all the fun by himself lol Meanwhile, I’m busy snapping pics, filming, enjoying the cool breeze and listening to all my favorite songs Quick little peek at Justin FYI, walking on these pebbles is seriously painful, lol The sunset in Nice is at 9pm🧡 For dinner, we took out Vietnamese food on the way back home. After swimming, we got super hungry and ordered 3 dishes, but the portions were huge! Ended up only cooking half the pho. Ju and I are different in many ways, but at least our food preferences match. I can’t date anyone who can’t handle spicy or Asian food 💔 Even if you don’t like dogs, you can’t be with me . .💔 Had dinner watching ‘How To Get Away with Murder’ in the dark. Analise is literally the GOAT;; Next day Getting ready and having a little chat When I traveled in France, I focused on all the good things. But living there, you start noticing the flaws too. Whenever I felt that way, I got stressed asking myself, “Why am I thinking so negatively?” While traveling, I watched lots of vlogs from people visiting France. I was like, “What do they do here? Why do they love here so much?” Most who come to the South of France call it ‘heaven’ and say they want to live here. Seeing those vlogs helped me understand that I should shift my mindset about France. This place might be a dream home for others, and their videos helped me get through my own tough moments living here 🥲 But I definitely believe everyone has a city or country that suits them best. In the book , it says every city gives people a unique message. Like New York tells you to “succeed and earn big,” I think Seoul might be similar, “live faster, work harder, be more efficient” I stayed in Orange County for just over a year, and what I felt there was, “It’s okay to be slow, just focus on yourself.” It wasn’t a huge city, but it had everything I needed like H Mart and Korean food lol So I didn’t feel too uncomfortable So when I moved to France, I thought I’ll be fine here too but nope 🌍😂 Even though it didn’t suit me perfectly, but i’m still glad i lived here (busy doing my makeup 😅🙏🏻) The older i get, the more things i’ve started, responsibilities, emotions, and stuff to take care of.. leaving it all behind isn’t so easy anymore. Even just looking at my job, quitting it in my 20s and doing something new feels different than doing it in my 30s. People often told me that I was brave for quitting my job and coming abroad, but honestly, I don’t think I fully understood the weight of that decision back then 😂 Cagnes sur Mer On the way to the brunch cafe The good things about France! There are sooo many interesting pretty plants. The neighborhood we’re going to see today is ‘Cagnes’ where ‘gn’ sounds like ‘ny’ and the ‘es’ is silent. (quirky french word) Wow The apartment name is Hermes! haha Even in the middle of summer, they don’t turn on the AC so everyone sits outside. It’s not a tourist area so the prices are cheap. Luckily, this cafe has cold drinks. The funny thing is, I ordered a ‘frappe’ but it wasn’t the ‘frappuccino’ I thought! In France, they just call a cold drink a frappe. A true frenchie spirit: ordering hot coffee in the middle of summer (and ofc, stealing sips of mine too 🙄) Baguette and avocado sandwich. Good habits I developed after coming to France are eating carrots, which I never used to eat, and not having leftovers when eating out. When I lived in Korea, it was natural to throw away leftovers when I was full. Since living in france, eating out started to feel like a special occasion — something you should never waste. Ju was raised to never waste food so when i leave even half a ramen, he insists on saving it… for tomorrow. Noodles don’t taste good if they’re soggy. .🥲 Another quirky French habit! When they eat something, they use bread to ‘cleanse’ the plate by scraping every off 😂 Zero waste with baguette🥖 Anyway, I think my actions and perceptions have changed a lot while living in France. Came to a local market. The old man told me to choose myself hehe Sorry for Non!🎵 The fruit prices are so cheap that I could eat 5 peaches a day. We bought a bunch of peaches and was happily walking back when.. suddenly bang! I have a fear of pigeons.. A pigeon hit my head and flew away🤯 My clueless bf: It wasn’t the wind? You joking? I’ve only experienced this in my dreams. . . 🪶 Has anyone ever been hit by a pigeon in their life? Me. Using a sanitizer.. lol Let’s move on to the next schedule. On the way to a pretty chateau at the top of the town Haut de Cagnes, a small hilltop town near Nice Chateau Grimaldi (currently operated as a museum). We couldn’t go inside because of Choppa, but the area around the castle was so beautiful that just walking around was enough. There’s a similar town near Lyon called Pérouges. (pls check my vlog😉) Since the buildings are made of stone, it feels really cool! For anyone craving the peaceful Provence atmosphere and plenty of photo ops, this spot is a must-visit! A melted puppy lol Ju: Fatty (Korean) Ju: Cute Fatty (Korean) Ju: Aigoo Chop: Where you from? His reaction is so slow lol Are you a seal, not a dog? I have no idea where this dog even came from lol Southern dog vibes . TMI that suddenly came to mind. Random TMI — both Ju and I come from Catholic families, so we each have baptismal names. When I was a child, my mom picked the name ‘Justina’ for me.. The name is actually come from ‘Justine’… which is actually the feminine form of Justin! The French love the traditional ball game, pétanque Ju: It’s usually a team game, and there’s a metal ball Ju: and there’s also a small wooden bal, so you throw that first Ju: Then each person throws the metal ball toward the cochonnet Ju: The one who makes it get closest wins. Finally, a family photo time👦🏼🐺 👩🏻 Back to Airbnb to escape the heat. Finishing the food we couldn’t eat yesterday. Pre-dinner dance Ju: You’re like Sims.. Bang: Simpson!??! Ju: Sims~ Pay attention to your pronunciation; Our 6-year couple weirdness showdown… The longer we’re together, the weirder we get! Chop: No normal hoomans in dis house The peaches we bought earlier I take five bites Ju takes one (with a threat) Tonight we’re going to Menton! Before we go, I’m applying sun-stick again. I bought a bunch of these from Korea – they’re not sticky and easy to apply. I found out why this Airbnb was kinda messy The host said if we clean it ourselves, she’ll refund about 25 euros service charge. Maybe since it’s vacation season, the host is off traveling too and left self-cleaning for guests 😂 So we need to make the towels and bed. (When we arrived, the place was a bit messy… maybe the previous guest did the self-cleaning 😀) Menton is a small city an hour from Nice, France. It’s also really close to the Italian border, so it’s a bit more exotic. It feels way more relaxed for tourists compared to Nice. Menton In Europe, it definitely feels like the quieter the tourist spot, the safer the security. Especially here, since it’s close to the wealthy city of Monaco, it feels clean and safe. (froze up after the compliment) Aren’t you that dog from before!?!? 👨🏻 Wake up 👨🏻 Look at the lady and pose! 👨🏻 Pose! 👩🏻 Look at the shape of that building. It looks like it’s in Lotte World (amusement park) 👩🏻 It’s cute here.. and there.. 👩🏻 It looks like the building is not of this world ;;; The ocean is so pretty no matter how much I look at it.. If I had the chance, I really want to live near the oceanㅠㅠ This side doesn’t allow dogs, so we just enjoyed the view from afar. (But.. I guess French people don’t follow rules lol) Another mindset I learned living in France (Land of freedom) Rules only apply when you feel like following them…😀 (It must hurt) What we just witnessed lol Ju & Bang: A kid jumped over this chair Ju & Bang: There was a big dog walking in front of here Ju & Bang: The dog was surprised so he barked at the kid like “WOOOF!!!!” Ju & Bang: And the kid apologized instead LOL Ju & Bang: Even the owner was like, “Be carefulㅡㅡ” (I cant imagine this situation in Korea lol) 🐶: I told you I’m the boss here, right? Came to a nice bistro bar Salty seasoned olives This place only had a 3-star rating on Google , but we really liked the drinks, food, and vibes!! secret dance moment🐛 Maybe because it was the last night.. Everything was delicious, pretty, and nice. . 🙄: Eat this After eating, you do your job! Ju: Ah, I’m finally enjoying myself like this. Actually, around this time, He was also preparing to change jobs, and i was also worried about my visa issues. It was nice to enjoy France with a feeling of being free from those daily problems. Ju: Although we were tired during the trip, there were many happy moments. Ju: I take pretty good pictures of you! Ju: I just can’t do well in Lyon;; (suddenly, the next table started loving choppa so much) 👩🏼‍🦱: She’s a baby? Ju: No, she’s 6 yrs old. 👩🏼‍🦱🧔🏼‍♂️: Wow, 6 years old!!! 👩🏼‍🦱: So pretty. Not too big.. not too small. Ju: Yea just averageㅋ On the last night , we talked over and over, looking back on our trip and talking about the fights we had 👩🏻: So do you have anything to say? Ju: I love you.. 👩🏻: The night view here is really pretty 👩🏻: I can see how much France saves energy haha 👩🏻: There’s no lights at all on this side.. 👦🏼: It’s a bit dangerous;; (Next day) We finished checking out today.. and are heading to Aix-en-Provence! We’ll hang out with Kita unnie (who lives in Avignon), whom I often met in Lyon. It’s been a while. It’s already been a week since we left home.. Can’t wait to go back 🏡 First, we stopped by a parking lot on the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence Kita unnie told us about this parking lot that was cheap and even offered a shuttle bus to the town. Here, the all-day parking ticket was 3.5 euros, which was super cheap! Since there were two of us, we had to get an additional shuttle ticket. I also got a ticket. yay So surprised that the buses here are so nice compared to Paris & Lyon. Even the AC is working !?!.. I almost cried lol I feel safe even putting down the camera here😌 Aix-en-Provence Why are the floors so clean..? Is this really France? 👩🏻: I wanna live here When I was getting ready to come to France, Ju was choosing between companies in Lyon and Aix-en-Provence. At that time, I checked the temperature on the weather app and gasp, 40 degrees… I was shocked. But if I lived here, it would be nice because it’s so pretty and clean🥹 We met Kita unnie & her husband They’re also a French x Korean couple, so we have a lot in common. Unnie also gave me a souvenir that she wrapped 🥹 I still cherish it thanks💗 Unnie: The name of this town is Aix-en-Provence. Unnie: Aix means water in Latin. Unnie: So this is why here’s the city of water! I had some girls’ time with her walked around, chatted, and looked at a lot of pretty perfumes Had a good time. .🪻 In the meantime, what I bought was Dog treats 🐶 A beautiful and hot trip to Southern France. We spent the last day of our vacation here and came back. At the time, I didn’t always have the peace of mind to enjoy every moment, but next time I travel there, I want to explore with a more open heart. Thank you for watching the video!

  4. I know I'm sometimes annoying, but I really enjoyed our trip in southern France all together 👸🏼👸🏻🦊 Let's do that more and more ❤
