They’re ready to harvest. [Music] And we’ve never seen so many bikers at a well I don’t know what to call it. It’s an in beast. It’s a kind of a fast food but it’s mainly wine and the wine’s very cheap. It’s only 350 per glass. Wine is just cheaper here. But my wife, she hasn’t had her broughtw wor for the day. What are you going to get? Brought war. Yeah, just a snack. But look at all the bikers here. Look at all the bikers. There’s bikes everywhere. It’s just a biker stop. There’s no road around here, so it’s just bikers on the trail. And most of them are drinking wine. Not many people are eating. It’s like 4 in the afternoon. There’s vineyards there. Vineyards there. Everywhere you look, there’s vineyards. There’s vineyards there. Congratulations. You have You have gone 175 miles. Oh my goodness. 175. And tomorrow we finish our second century. We’re hitting 200 mph as we turn into Triair before uh we enter Luxembourg and France. That’s in 2 days. All right. You’re almost 200 miles. Way to go. Oh, stop. Stop. That’s very dangerous here. It’s very dangerous. You have to watch out. Look at this. You’re going to run into these these hay bales here. Look at this. That’s very serious. Where’s his head? Oh, are you okay? You’re okay. You need help? Oh, he doesn’t speak English. I don’t know what to do. He doesn’t speak English. How do we help him? But last night, we stayed in a beautiful apartment. We didn’t even realize that we had booked this twostory apartment. Here’s the downstairs. We uh just store the bikes right here. Here’s my wife coming down. Hello. We’re beginning the packing process of our bike. It’s It’s quite a process. But let’s walk through the apartment real quick. This is probably the biggest apartment we’ve ever booked anywhere. We’re staying in like 21 different hotels and apartments in our month in Germany. But you go up to the first floor. In Germany, they always call the bottom floor zero. So, this is first floor. And you have a lovely kitchen area here. It’s complete. It’s a complete apartment. We didn’t know what we were getting open, but you step out into this very nice patio deck. And there’s the Mosul River. And look at this house over here. We found out it’s over 300 years old and it’s been patched and repaired many times. And look at this big crack here. I’d be a little bit nervous living in it. It’s it’s cracked and leaning this way. And our our house is very old, too. Look at the mason with the It’s just rocks like stacked together with medieval cement. Here’s a an ancient piece of wood that’s there. They just put whatever they can find into these things. But it’s very modern inside. But it’s it’s 250 years plus. Okay, let’s continue the quick tour here. We don’t need to take forever cuz we need to get started on the bike trail, the living area. And we thought, well, this is big. We didn’t realize there’s an upstairs, too. You got a bathroom downstairs. I didn’t show you that, but here’s a bathroom upstairs, too. And then the uh bedroom. I don’t know. It might be messy because look, my my wife actually makes the bed. She’s She’s so Filipino. So, we leave the room cleaner than we found it. I don’t think we will ever I like this have a house apartment this big. It’s just kind of by accident I got this place. I didn’t even realize what I was booking. But the total price was only $92. So, okay, on to the trails. It’s time for our early morning 5 kilometers stop. Here’s a little German town of Peasport. And there’s vineyards everywhere every mile along the way. Here’s some bikers coming here. And we’re always on the moso early in the morning. There’s very few people biking this early. Most people sleep in much later than we do. You found a little treasure here, haven’t you? What is it? The Swan Lake. Schwan Lake. Here he comes. Come over here. [Music] We’re going to Major problem here. Oh, there he goes. They’re harvesting the gra. He’s got his block completely, but I think we can get around harvesting the grapes here. They totally had the road blocked at the beginning. We’ll get around. Oh, he’s a beauty. And there’s many more. There’s Look at all these. There’s more than I can count. There’s like seven, eight, and there’s more over there. Right over there, right on the biking trail. And we biked dozens of times all through Napa Valley. Everywhere. Kalisoga, everywhere. And we got to tell you, this is 10 times better than the best Napa trails we’ve been on. And it goes for miles and miles and dozens of miles. It’s endless. Yeah. Look at Look at my wife. It’s a little nippy. It’s jumping, but it’s like 40 48° maybe. It hasn’t gone up too much. Look at the beauty. And we’re the only ones out here. Oh, if you’re a biker, this is number one in your bucket list. This is our code morning. I don’t think we’re going to see a morning this cool the rest of the month. It’s not that bad. It’s like 49°. It’s going up to 64 or something soon. You look like you’re in the middle of the winter. [Music] We just found the biggest collection of Germans biking on the entire eight or nine days we’ve been biking. A lot of family, a lot of little kids. [Music] It’s all good.
