Hi guys, the Benorm enthusiast here and today we’re at the Lala end of Ponyenti Beach and we’re going to be showing you a stunning new beach park which has recently reopened after a full refurbishment. Now, we called in here briefly on the night of San Juan on a recent video, but we were so impressed with it, we decided we’re going to come back and do a full video, grab some cocktails, have a bit of food, and give you a real close-up look at this new bara beach. I absolutely love this part of Benorm. It’s got a completely different vibe to it than the Levanti side. It’s a real upand cominging area as well. There’s a lot of luxury apartment buildings going up around here. It’s right next door to the Delphin Tower. You’ve got some big hotels around here, the Grand Baralley and the Toridada. And I think this bar, the Bahaya Beach House, is going to be a fantastic addition to this area. The bar split over two floors. The top floor is drinks only. Then you’ve got a restaurant side and you’ve also got a street terrace as well. We’re going to go grab ourselves a cocktail. We’ve already got a table on the top floor and then shortly we’ll be trying some of their food as well. [Music] [Music] It is a beautiful looking bar and at night it really comes alive. The lighting is stunning. It’s a nice atmosphere. It oozes. Chill out. Little bit of live music going on in the background, but not a tribute act in sight. completely different to the other bars that this group has. Would you believe it? This is owned by the owners of the Western Saloo. Fabulous views out over Ponyenti Beach and the Mediterranean Sea as well. In fact, you can see right the way to the ring deoit’s end of Benoron from here and it is absolutely beautiful. Right, time for a cocktail. I think it’s a digital menu here. So you scan your QR code and then it comes up on your phone and it’s a massive cocktail list. There’s over 30 different cocktails on this list. Some classics like a sex on the beach porn star martini and some interesting sounding ones as well. A Barbie which has got pink tequila rum, strawberry syrup and a Ken which has got rum, mango syrup, passion fruit, banana, honey and Bailey’s. Interesting stuff. And they range in price from €9 to €1080. And then you’ve got some cocktails with alcohol free uh €7. And I’m going to go for my usual virgin mojito. All right, then have a look at these cocktails. So this one is your classic one night martini. This one is the Ken, which has got Bailey’s and banana and mango I think was in it. All sorts of interesting stuff going on in there. And I actually went for a a coconut virgin mjito. Never tried a coconut one before. And it was recommended by the waiter. So I’m going to give this a go. [Music] Ooh, that is lovely. Very different. You can still taste the mint. Um, but yeah, you get a a sweetness from the coconut. What a weird combination. You would never think that that would actually work, but it does. Lovely. Right, we’re going to take our cocktails downstairs. Now, the restaurant’s really busy tonight, but I’ve just seen a table come up, so we’re going to go grab it and grab ourselves a bite to it. Down on the main floor now and what a great table we’ve got. Fabulous view right out over the beach. So, we’re going to grab ourselves some food. Let’s have a little look at the menu. Split into different sections. Seaside bites, salads, burgers, baguettes, and snacks. Sandwich and toast. Pasta and pizza. And I myself fancy a bit of pasta tonight, I think. So you’ve got spaghetti with pesto with carbonara vegetable spaghetti with prawns lasagna and spaghetti bolognese. And I think I’m going to go for the spaghetti with prawns which is €180. Just to let you know as well, you can get a physical menu to look at. I know not everyone’s into these QR codes and digital menus. So if you do want to have a proper look at the full menu, just ask them for it. Right then, here we go. Food has arrived. So, I work for the spaghetti with prawns, which is €18, and it smells absolutely beautiful. Look at that nice moist spaghetti. Look at those prawns. Also on our table, we went for the mini burger with chips, which is €9.90, I think. Let me just check. €950 for that. And we also got a Caesar salad which is €1380. First things first, I’m going to get stuck in to one of these big juicy prawns. [Music] Bit of veg going on in there as well. Tomatoes. I think that’s uh some corette. It’s got the color of a pa delicious. Going to have to get down here in the daytime as well. They do open early on a morning and they do all sorts of breakfast, snacks, smoothies, um, bowl, poke bowls and all sorts of things like that. Tostados, great spot right on the beach front and I think it’s going to do really really well this place. You can already tell it’s buzzing in here. There was nothing going on down this end of Ponyenti before and this place is absolutely buzzing tonight. Definitely um, a good addition to this part of Benidom. [Music] Absolutely delicious. And what a fabulous place to sit and eat as well. Just off the beach when you got a nice sea breeze. It’s nice and cool. Kitchen doesn’t shut till half 11 as well. So you can really wait until it start. [Music] This is absolutely delicious. And what a fabulous spot to come and have some food as well. Right on the beach front. Nice seab breeze. And I keep finding more prawns. I thought there was only four prawns on the top when it when it arrived. And the further I’m digging in, the more prawns keep popping up. Food was delicious. And another cocktail to wash it down with. This time I’ve gone for a virgin pina colada. It’s almost like a cocktail and a dessert in one. Oh yeah. Very nice. Very refreshing as well. I’m going to enjoy that while I soak up the beach vibes. Look out at the Ponyenti. enjoy the view and let the night wind down. So guys, if you’re looking for something completely different, I would recommend that you give this place a go. Completely different feel, completely different vibe, completely different atmosphere from everything over on the Levante side. And there’s not even anything down on Ponyenti that’s like this either.
