Our 10 Year Anniversary In Paris!

I’ve never been to this part of town. Everyone is dressed up here. But look so dumb. Lost in a room where my shadow jumps. So glad I found you there in the ground. All right, good morning. We got up early to head out to the Eiffel Tower. I didn’t uh I didn’t take any video beforehand except for walking up to the area because we were figuring out the the train to get over here. A little confusing. Took us a hot minute, but we’re here and now I know how to get back, so getting home should be pretty easy. It’s a lot bigger than I thought. Like I kept seeing things about like how small it was and whatnot, but now standing next to it, it’s it’s huge. It it it’s cool. So, we’re walking around it to get some closer views and uh take a look. [Music] concrete jungle where dreams are. All right, we’re hanging out down at the base right now. It’s really hard to take pictures and videos when you’re this close. Uh because it how big it is. So, we’re going to walk a distance down so that we’re centered up with it, but also back further so that if we take pictures, we can get the whole thing in the picture. So, let’s go. All right, we took a bunch of pictures in a uh in a really cool spot. We found somebody online that was that lives local that shows you where to go to find like really good photo spots. We got as many photos as we could in that spot, but we want to get a further away one. So, we’re going to go across the river to another little hidden spot. They said it’s kind of busy in their videos, but it’s actually not busy here right now. So hopefully it’s dead by the time we get over there and we get some really cool shots. [Music] [Music] Honey, honey, just stay so sweet. Honey, honey, just stay so sweet. [Music] Everything they say. again. [Music] All right, we climbed up a whole bunch of steps. Got some cool pictures and video. It is hot. This suit is melting off of me once again for the second time in Paris. Um, we’re going to go find some food. Brena wants some more steak and fruits. Um, I will eat anything. The kids will probably eat nothing. So, we got to find something to keep them busy. [Music] All right. I can’t see anything because we sat down to eat and we were all so hungry that we kind of dug in before I ever pulled out the camera. Wriggley, what did you have sitting over there? What was that? the pizza that didn’t want to. Oh, Minnie’s Ninnie is eating the pizza. You don’t want the pizza? Oh, it wasn’t very good for you. Okay. So, Oh, yeah. Brandon got the steak and all the good pepper sauce. I had fish and chips. This is all that’s left. Lennox is over here eating chicken nuggets and pizza. And pizza like going to town over here. So, we’re going to finish up eating and then we have two more places that we want to go to and grab pictures while we still look good. Um, not completely sweaty messes. We want to check out Notredam and what is the other one? Love the Lou. The Lou. I actually don’t know what that one is. Have you shown me that one? Like what it looks like? New. Okay. Well, I’m going to be surprised going up to it. I know what Notre Dame looks like. You know, go Notre Dame. Um, but we’re going to go over and get some pictures around there and then the Lou and probably head back to the apartment and chill for the rest of the night. Unless Brianna’s got big party plans for the both of us because it is our 10 year anniversary today. Surprise. We’re in Paris, the city of love. [Music] She’s rolling her eyes at me. All right. Uh, we’re going to get out of here. Go see you in a bit. [Music] [Music] Well, all right. We finally got off the train. Uh, that was mass chaos. The train has been mostly painless since we’ve been here. This is the first time that we walked down. They said in the uh in Google Maps that there was going to be heavy traffic from today or yesterday until like the 18th or 19th or something because there was a convention going on. But there was only one there was one ticket machine and so many tourists that didn’t know how to use the ticket machine. Thankfully, we learned how to use the ticket machine in a larger place that had more than one uh card like setup thing. So, we got to stand stupid in front of it for a few minutes and not bother anybody. Well, that wasn’t the case here. With only one working, there were several families up there that had no idea what was going on. Didn’t know how to pay, didn’t know how to get a new card. So, it took forever. And there were people that were trying to cut. Um, I did not let that happen because the loudmouthed American will be the one to speak up for the entire line to make sure that the little sleeves bags don’t try and just cut in line. Oh, I just I just I get wind. they get to. No, you go to the back of the line or I’ll call the ticket master or whatever the hell they are. So, that guy that guy left and went to the back of the line after I started pointing at everyone like and you know started drawing attention. Uh, but we’re here at Notre Dame and the bells are going off and it is a beautiful site. Like, this is really cool. [Music] So, I don’t know how it is that I always have a bag with me that has my either Roxis 89 patch or one of police patches in it and I don’t have one today and we’re walking past a police station. It’s probably because I’ve been swapping bags so often that I I take the patches out of one bag and I put them in the other one and I’ve kneaded every square inch of the bags that I’ve been carrying. So, I pull them out and I just leave them sitting somewhere. So, I’m going to have to go back to the apartment and get a hold of some of my patches and run my happy butt back down here and see if I can trade one. Uh, so we looked at the map and we realized that the Louv is actually pretty close to Notre Dame. So we decided to walk it. But the side that we’re coming from is like the opposite side of the building where the like pyramid in here is that we want to go and take pictures of, it’s also closed today. So we are walking down to this large entrance here, which actually looks like it’s open. And we’re hoping that we can walk in and still get pictures. So once we get to this intersection, I guess I’ll be able to tell you whether we’re going to get pictures or not. All right, we are crossing the crosswalk. It looks like people are walking in. Let’s see. [Music] I can’t see it from here, but I’m pretty sure that it’s right here. [Music] There it is. [Music] That’s cool. This entire building is cool. Holy cow. All the buildings are just so royal here. All the statues that are lining the outsides of them. And then this piece of art just sitting in the middle of it. Oh, this is cool. I’m walking up to these gates that are blocking us from going in, thinking that we need to buy a ticket. And Brena’s like, “Cory, come over here.” And it’s wide open on the side and I didn’t even notice it. We’re here. Oh, this is cool. [Music] All right, we are all done with pictures at the Lou. We’ve seen a lot of really, really cool places today and they’ve all been really, really close. We’ve we’ve done a lot of walking. Uh, poor Lennux’s feet over here hurt. She’s sitting down. Wriggley looks like a zombie walking behind us. I don’t think he’s actually looking at anything while he’s walking. I have to keep him from running into poles. Uh there’s a couple of places that I want to come back and check out. We just walked past a little shop here that in the windows they have a whole bunch of like whisies and bourbons. In the back they have a humidor with cigars, but I did see a case in the back that had pipe tobacco pipes. I want to go look at them. I don’t smoke my pipes anymore just because we’re in an RV and I don’t want to smell like smoke walking, you know, back into the RV after smoking it outside. But we have a little bit of a walk to get back to the apartment. It says like 18 minutes, but it’s actually pretty pretty close. Like when you look at the map, it’s simple. We’re just going to go down a couple of blocks and then hang a left. And that left is going to take us straight back to the apartment. So everything’s within walking distance. So I will catch you guys back at the apartment after we get there. [Music]
