🌀 Mykonos: We wandered through the iconic blue-and-white maze of streets, explored the legendary windmills, and soaked up the views in Little Venice. A stop at a local café brought us mouthwatering gyros and refreshing Greek beers, before more dreamy strolls through this Cycladic paradise. 🏖️🍺
Day 9
🏛️ Athens: The next day, we stepped into history — starting at the Panathenaic Stadium, the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games. Then came the climb to the Acropolis, where we entered through the Temple of Athena Nike and stood in awe before the mighty Parthenon — a true Wonder of the Ancient World. 🏟️🗿
🥗 After indulging in a classic Greek lunch — gyros (again!), salad, and beer — we visited the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens and witnessed the dramatic Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.👮♂️
