Driving from Antalya to Kas | TURKIYE’s Turquoise Coast | Should you stay in Kas?
We’re finally away from the busyiness and chaos of Antalia. It’s much more of our vibe. Slower pace, less people, less cars. All right, guys. We decided to take a coffee break. I found this on Google Maps. Had really good reviews. So, we’re going to get some Turkish coffee and tea. I think we have about how many hours left? 1 hour. Yeah. One more hour before we have um arrive at Kos. [Music] They have this like old school thing here to make the tea. I think it’s cute. Chai. Chai. Chai. Chai. Okay. Chai. Coffee. Turkish coffee. Turkish coffee. Chai. Chai. Tama. Yes. Looks like there’s a really nice cove over there. Cute. It’s right by the water. I’ll try. Thank you. Okay. Got my tea right here. [Music] Hey, tell me, how is your Turkish coffee? Good. You tried it already? Yes, it’s good. Let’s get out of here. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Hey guys, welcome to Kosh. We just checked into our hotel. It’s called Kosh Oldtown Hotel and it’s super cute. It’s very nice, bright, and airy. And um the best part is it’s a sea view. So, we have a balcony right over here. There’s a table out there. So, this was only about €54. So, it’s a really good deal. And um Kosh is a really cute town. It’s more of our vibe. And um yeah, so we’re going to walk around in a little bit, get some lunch, and we’ll show you guys what this town has to offer. Okay, we made it up to the third floor or the top floor. And wow, breakfast area. Yeah, this is the breakfast area. As you can see, there’s all these tables. The best part is this view, though. Beautiful. This street. Our car is parked right in the front right there. That’s our vehicle. Gorgeous. And it’s pretty quiet out here. It’s really nice and like um relaxing, isn’t it? Relaxing. Yeah, I like thousand times better than Yeah, this is definitely more of our vibe. Definitely more of our vibe. There is an island there with a town. Maybe I’ll be visiting probably. Yeah, there’s an island right there. Yeah. Let’s go get some lunch and explore the town. All right. So, we came to this one uh really local restaurant. It’s been here since 1986. And it is um homemade Turkish food. So, this is like a okra and um chicken, spinach. I think that’s a stuffed eggplant and rice. And it’s right next to the square here. a lot of uh places to eat, a lot of food options. The food is actually really really really good. We basically inhaled the food. It was so good. Like everything we got was delicious. And also um this is a peach peach juice. And it’s pretty tasty, too. It’s not too sweet. Um, let me show you what the place looks like. So, it’s this place called Emra Restaurant. So, if you guys ever come to Kosh, I definitely recommend you guys come check this local place out. It’s really, really, really good. I got I finally got Turkish ice cream. I’ve been looking for this for the longest time and I found it here at this one shop right here. I’m not even going to try to pronounce that. But it’s absolutely delicious, guys. The pistachio is so good. And he ended up getting which flavor? I got the coconut, but they add melon and chia. Oh, yeah. It was pretty good, too. Really refreshing. But it was praio is on another level. It’s really, really good. We made it down. This is only 10 minutes from the uh hotel. Yeah. Nana’s going to do a little bit of a swim. There a whole bunch of like uh beach clubs along the way, but uh this one looks like can just get in the water without having to swim into the beach club. Let’s still go. Heat. Heat. How was your swim? Oh, it was quite refreshing. The water temperature was perfect. Yeah. Very nice. So, we are here. We found this place here. Antifellows. Antifellows which was originally built first century AD and then they rebuilt the uh second portion of it after the great earthquake. after 80 141 or something like that. So, we’re going to go check it out. This is uh really close to the place we’re staying at. Breathtaking views and breathtaking stairs as well. So, we climbed up to the top of this theater. Yeah. By the way, those islands are part of Greece. Yeah, those are already Greek islands over there. And what about that one? Not sure. Not sure. It’s pretty cool to have this here. Sun’s about to set in a couple of hours. So, it’s a good place to watch the sunset from. So, here’s the town of Kos where we’re staying at. It’s really cute coastal town. We like it a lot. The harbor is right over there. And the place we’re staying at is probably one of these buildings right over here. So, we have partial sea view. Beautiful. Those are olive trees right over here. They’re all over the place. Oh, yeah. I guess they’re all olive trees. The olives are really good here. Olives and tomatoes and cucumbers, I noticed, is a pretty uh basic staple for a Turkish breakfast. Yeah, they have good watermelon and melon as well. Honey. Yeah, the watermelon um honeydew melon and the honey is actually really good. The honey. Yeah. Yeah. Like you my honey. Bada bing, bada boom. There’s some olives on this tree. Black olives. I don’t know. I don’t know if you guys can even see that. Maybe we can get a closer closer view here. There you go. What does it feel like? Oh, okay. Did you just eat it? Just ate a raw olive. How is it? Oily. [Music] This is Kasha. It’s beautiful. Have a lot lot of uh shops on the streets. This is the king’s tomb. It says it’s an elevated sarcophagus. Oh, carries a Lysian epitap dated to 4th century BC. Yeah, actually interesting. So, Fernando seems to have made a friend. He just came down and laid down. So, chill. Chill, doggo. So, we’re here at this one spot um kind of the center of the town of Kosh. And apparently the reviews say they’re known for their pancakes. Um, so I ordered that and uh chicken soup and melon fresh melon juice. Yeah, I think that was the blender that I heard. Maybe. Yeah. See, I’m super thirsty. So, good morning. We are here upstairs having breakfast. Um, they do have like a bit of a buffet here and um they have Turkish tea and the view is beautiful. Yeah, we have ocean view here. It’s gorgeous. Getting a massage. Hair massage. What do you What do you think about the town? Yeah, I love this town here. It’s have a very chill vibe, slow paced town. It’s the kind of tourist spot I believe me and Lane lives. Um, and we get a free massage from the wind. You see, like sculp massage. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music]
Follow along our adventures as we drive from the crowded city of Antalya to this beautiful calm town of Kas! We decided to spend a couple nights in this quaint and peaceful town of Kas as we made our way up Turkiye’s Turquoise Coast. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed this place!

Kaş is a hidden gem. It would be my place of choice in Turkey. Could be easily overlooked if you think Turkey is all about Istanbul/Capadoccia.
