Munich 🇩🇪 Germany | A Bavarian Tour: Vlog
All right. What’s up everybody and welcome to Munich, Germany. We’re going to be exploring and sightseeing with some friends of mine who I met at K Island. Shout out to the other video. Um, yeah, enjoy the sights and the exploration of Munich, Germany. So, the last bear around Munich was shot and killed here 200 years ago. That’s what the monument is, probably. Probably potentially. So, this is a Bavarian hunting dog, aka wiener dog. And they are cultivated by the Bavarian people of South Germany for hunting cuz they can climb in small holes. Yep. [Music] So this river is super clean. It flows in from the Alps mountains which can sometimes be seen. Yeah. City work of Munich. SWM. This is actually a very LGBTQ area where Freddy Mercury lived. And the red light is two girls. All right, we’re going to be going up that tower, so stay tuned. And a lot of the more simpler buildings are created after the bombings when they could not afford a lot of intricate designs. So if you see intricate designed old buildings and they’re usually survivors of the bombings and if you see simpler buildings, well then now you know why. Okay, here’s a Bavarian matri with the different professions showing Bavarian culture out here in South Germany. We’re at the market in the city center. All right, here’s one of the oldest places in town. We’re going to go up inside the church. Welcome. This is the old Peter church and the bell is going off. [Music] What’s up? Here you can see the mountains in the distance, the Alps mountains. And on a clear day, Tati is here to see. All right. Right over there is hide housing. This is where I got on the tram earlier. Where you see all the green, all the trees. It’s a huge huge park. Ah, it’s a huge park over there. English garden. those trees. Here’s the city center directly and in the distance you can see the tower made for the Olympics in the 70s and another beautiful building. [Music] lower view. The bells will be [Music] nice [Music] spots from the other [Music] That’s where we were. [Music] That’s the original town hall center. And this is the new one. A copy of the one at Brussels. This is the king’s house from 1508 to 1918. And it’s adopted from the same style as there is in Florence. A lot of the style here is a copy of Florence because the kings back in the day really envied the Italian architecture. All right. And here’s the part of Munich famous for being an alleyway that people would walk past the Nazi monuments and if they didn’t want to salute the monuments, they didn’t want to praise the monuments like they were forced to, they’d walk down this way instead. So that’s what this little alley is known for. Slight rebellion. Here’s another Italian style church for the originals in Rome. Lots of construction happening here. The Hoffroy House brewery. Let’s check it out. Free beer, topless bartenders, and false advertising. That is true. Opera House. Now you you have to press music. [Music] Oh, okay. [Music] A band is playing. [Music] [Music] Okay. So, these are heirloom beer glasses that if you are a honored member of here, you get you get a locker. You can put your glass in the locker and then you pass it through down the generations. So, a lot of these are family heirloom at this at this place, this brewery. Yep. Awesome. Some Munich drinks. How massive that we beer. Delicious. Anak [Music] Delicious traditional Bavarian food. What is it called? Yep. Yeah. So, this is one of the oldest buildings here from 1264. And it did survive the bombings during World War II. The 16th century Munich. That’s a good view of the lookout and the city center. Yep. Public transportation. All right. Here’s a German fire hydrant. Here’s a fish sculpture for ocean litter awareness. You speak German? Here you go. Yeah. Shout out Grim Malucas cleaning the ocean. Yeah. So, this shows that over 90% of plastic in the ocean comes from rivers that lead into the ocean. And this is the percentage. 48% is toys from children, soft drinks, sports, automobile, food, tobacco, electronics. So, yeah, that’s a rundown. Look at the sad fish. Come on. All right, I am walking down by the river. And if you follow the river that way, you can walk for about 10 days and you get to the mountains, the Alps mountains in Italy. And if you walk that way along the river, you get to Austria, Vienna. And so on this river, people just hang out. A lot of hanging out. It’s a good purchase machine. [Music] Tra 21 is diverted between max plats and central station via and zen. For marine flats, you may change at forban services. I saw a Ford. It’s the first time I’ve seen an American car in a while. [Music] [Music] Whoa. [Music] Okay, we’re in Batana Shshire Garten Munich. What’s it? Palm House. Oh, Palm House. This is cactus house. Cactus house. Nice. The orchard room. Oh. Chili pepper. And we got pineapple ananas in German. [Applause] Here’s a chocolate cow. The gale. Here’s mushrooms eating the chocolate. That finished chocolate. There’s inside of one of those. I got chocolat. Yeah, some berries. Kandomi flower fish. together. Yeah. at least. Thank you. Is it Mexico house? I think that’s tequila. Bizarre. So this is fast growing bamboo and after 10 days as you can see marked it grows really fast. a fern forest. Apparently, this looks a lot like New Zealand. I said West Coast USA kind of the moss. But yeah. All right. This is Nymphenburgg porcelain. You can only get it created in this way like it was created 100 years ago in Nymphenburgg, Munich. So this would be about €10,000 or so. People from all over come and buy it. They come to Munich to buy it. Number porcelain. FYI. And here’s an old church outside the garden. Hello. It was actually built in 16 79, I think. So this is where the royal family would go in the summertime. It’s big space. [Applause] the castle. [Applause] Let’s go see the inside. Oh, there’s people. Strange. So, this used to be the hunting quarters kind of. And they’d stand up there and they’d shoot the deer and the birds coming through here. It’s like a hunting castle. And here’s the other side of the castle lawn. There’s the Bavarian flag, white, blue, and the German flag over there. See the the beer get transported. Train station. This is the big yellow church. So, here’s the Bavarian president’s house. You can see the bullet holes, the gunshot damage from the war left unrepaired, hoof gardens. I need [Music] And now we’re in the English garden. So, we’re going to go see the surfing. There’s a guy going to surf right now. The swans. Look at that swan. Look at this swan. He’s moving fast. [Music] Hey guys, man. Otherwise, the camera [Music] It’s really good. [Applause] [Applause] Yeah. So, because of an accident that happened earlier this year, it’s highly recommended to get a under tension breaking leash cuz there’s rocks underneath there. And yeah, somebody got stuck, but it’s not very not very common. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] That’s the best wise beer. It’s something you will never forget. All the architecture is art. And the wise beer. We are on the autoban right now. The speed limit is set at 120 km per hour. But yeah, this is the fast the fastest street in the world. Autobon. All right, here I am at Munich airport. I’m heading out of Europe, heading out of Germany. Munich has been super awesome. Yeah, that’s it for the video. Hope you all enjoyed Germany. All right. Goodbye, Germany.
I spent a night and two days with my friends Andi and Monika while traveling across Europe. They were kind enough to invite me to stay with them at their flat in Munich. They are both München locals, born and raised, and give me an excellent true Bavarian tour of the city and history while I was there. Enjoy the new sights!
Shoutout to meeting them during the Kei Island trip 😁check out that trip’s video on my channel.
