[Music] Hi world. Welcome to the Barcelona vlog. I am just starting this video here. Even though we arrived at 6:00 a.m. this morning, we had a overnight flight. So, basically, we had a redeye flight and we got no sleep because it wasn’t our sleeping time in New York. So, we arrived new day. We checked into this amazing hotel and I’m just getting some sun out on the terrace and it literally is I think it’s about 5:00 p.m. and it’s very, very hot here in Barcelona. We are starting the Euro trip here in Barcelona. So, very, very exciting. So, you’re going to see a few destinations. We only have dinner plans for this evening, but other than that, we’re just going to explore since it’s already 5:00 p.m. I’m going to insert the room tour now. I filmed it when I arrived before it was untouched. So, I will insert that now. [Music] We are on a mission for some frozen yogurt. And I think I see it spot is where we’re going. Um, mango, strawberry, coconut flakes, but no. They kept it basic. Got fruit, mango, strawberry. Okay, first taste. Oh my god. It’s actually incredible. So refreshing. That’s a 10. We made it to the cathedral of Barcelona. It’s just in a square with a lot of stores nearby. This is the square. Heading to dinner. Our first dinner here in Barcelona. And I did a very, very light little makeup. I just put a bit of foundation. The new one I picked up, Makeup by Mario. And then yeah, changed the shoes, kept the same dress, and it is very, very hot. So, I’m keeping it chill. And we’re just ready for some drinks. Yes. First restaurant. This is what we booked. So, let’s see how it’s going to be. It looks cute inside. Yep. Tapos is coming out. We got the sea bass ceviche and then some octopus in a sweet potato. in a sweet potato puree. And then this is the tomato petta scallops with mango and papaya chutney. Looks so good. Lamb. Good morning from Barcelona. It is a new day. Your girl woke up at 300 a.m. Ready to start the day. As you can see, I’m feeling great. I’m feeling fabulous. I’m ready to explore another day in Barcelona. Today is like the actual full day in Barcelona just because yesterday was that travel day and I like to not count the travel day as a day when I’m traveling. I like to just take it easy, settle in. But you saw the mess. So, all good. Enjoy that day. But today’s another day. Today we are going to sag, how do you say in Spanish? Sagrada. La Sagrada Familia. Lasagra Familia. That’s where we’re going. We actually got tickets. Recommend getting tickets online because I was actually looking and there’s no tickets left. So definitely get your tickets in advance and buy it online. I am bringing a little I guess like a linen shirt just to cover up because you have to cover your shoulders and knees when heading there. So yeah, that’s the plan for today. Explore. I put my hair in a braid. I’m about to let it out. This is just to get the curls and the waves going to kind of I don’t know if you can see. It’s probably like a It’s not straight. But yeah, this is my outfit. I just bought this dress, ironically, from Bibong, which is an Australian store, but they had a store here in Barcelona, when we were wandering yesterday, and I was like, “Wait, hold on. This is cute and I love it and major sale, and I love a good bibong quicks Roxy dress. They’re great like beach coverups and like really easy breezy dresses for summer.” So, this is the look. I’m going to unbraid my hair, get my sunglasses, and head out. Here’s the Are you excited? I am excited. Here is the dress in this full length mirror. Very, very cute. [Music] It is so incredible. All of the the mosiacs. Is it mosiacs? I think so. It’s just honestly so beautiful. All the lights coming in and we’re just taking this moment just to take in this beauty. Like, can you believe this has been under construction for over a hundred years? And it seems like next year finally going to be done with construction, which is incredible. I visited this spot 13 years ago, but I never came inside. I just saw it from the outside and then it was just wrapped in scaffolding. So, it’s actually really nice to see the inside and also the outside, seeing the construction coming to life. [Music] One thing to note is that Spain makes iced lattes. In my experience of in Italy, they do not make any coffee that is iced and especially not a latte or cappuccino after 11. So, I that’s something I appreciate about Spain. Good. Decent. We’re at a coffee shop. It’s called 365. Seems to be a chain here. Not bad. They have sweets and sandwiches. [Music] We are at a market just on La Ramblas. It’s called La Peria and it is insane. I’m talking about like all the fruit, summer fruit you can imagine. The taste is 10 out of 10. I got mangoes and I didn’t even record it. I was celebrating the entire time. It was that good. It tasted like when I was a child eating mangoes on a hot summer’s day like in Australia. Like it just took me back. Um we don’t get mangoes like that and in New York at all and that’s like all I think about. But now we’re on a hunt for some food. There’s fried food. There’s fruits, juices, salami, anything. Fried fish. Like look at the fried octopus, the fried squid. Back in the room now and we had ourselves a entire afternoon today after we went and discovered that little market. We came back to the room and got ready. We went to the beach. That’s the great thing about Barcelona that you have the beach, the shore right there. So, we just packed a towel, slapped on some sunscreen, grabbed my sunglasses, put on a bikini, and went down to the beach, and we laid out there and swam for a few hours. And then we had a few drinks across the road. I didn’t film any of that. I was just like kind of taking in that moment. Um, that spontaneous summer moment, right? As you can imagine, after 30° of direct sunlight, we came back to the room and crashed because, like I said, I woke up at 3:00 a.m. this morning. So, it was destined to be the crashing was coming. We are now heading to dinner. It is our last night in Barcelona. And this is my last kind of dinner look. This is what I’m wearing. This top I picked up when I was in Australia from Kukai, an Australian label. These are kind of old Zara trousers. They’re just easy, really uh thin and just easy to style. So, I think I’m just going to wear these. And then for shoes, I’m doing my Dior sandals. I keep the jewelry and accessories to a limit. It’s a very busy city, so I am not wearing any jewelry other than these hoops and obviously my engagement ring. And that is the look for the evening. So, let’s go and get some dinner. I would love to tell you what street we’re going to be on, but can’t pronounce it. So, you’re going to have to wait for that. [Music] Is this not like the most elite combination? I got Coca-Cola, first one on the trip, in a glass bottle and a lemon with a cup full of ice with a thin brim. Tell me I’m not the only one that thinks this is like the elite combination. You get it. You get it. What’s the name of the restaurant? It’s called La Parada. La Parada. It’s the first one on your right. You say like Italian food. Yeah, there was a few options. There was a tapas, but we ended up here because we ordered pasta, which I don’t know why. I think pasta is a good choice for tonight. I think we just need something carb heavy, which you can’t complain about, right? You got the ravioli. I got the bolognese. So, let’s see how it goes. Big bowl of bolognese. And we have some ravioli. Bonafito. Good morning. It is our last day in Barcelona. How do you feel? Great. Love this city. I give it a 9 out of 10. You did give it a 9 out of 10. I also love this city. It is my second time here, but it was completely different because I was here 13 years ago. But this morning before we check out, we are heading to breakfast. There is a very cute coffee spot right by our hotel. So, we are going there. [Music] two lattes. Right beside our hotel, there’s a really cute cafe and I would say it’s probably New York approved. It’s called Petit Nomad. I mean, I just got a latte and I would say like it’s pretty good. It’s a pretty classic coffee shop, but we’re just going to enjoy our coffee and then head out. I’m still thinking about that mango from yesterday. So, we might actually stop by and get some mango before, well, if we have time, but before we head to the airport, I think that’s what I want to do. My last little adventure for Barcelona. We are at the airport, Barcelona airport. We were in the lounge and I I just had some food to eat and then I just kind of had a cold drink. It was really relaxing to just sit in there. But we’re now at the gate. We’re about to board in about 5 minutes. And I wanted to show you what I got from Judy. Ironically, I was going to pick this up back home. And then I just didn’t get around to it and I didn’t have time. But one, I got this, which is the Wella ultimate repair for it’s like a protective leavein treatment, which I’m excited about. I’ll link these below. And then I also got Quarterly, which is a French brand. This is a face mask, which is going to be great and really hydrating after the flight. Oh, it smells really good. Wait, what’s the what’s the fragrance? Smells really good. It’ll be good for like the beach or the pool days when it gets really really hot just for a little facial mist. I hope you enjoyed this video. We are heading to Mayorca, one of the islands of Spain, and we’re about to start our Euro summer. This was a quick trip to Barcelona.
