What is your favorite place in Bulgaria?
My home town Samokov, located in the skirts of Rila Mtn, with the highest peak Mussala-2925m. There is a ski resort Borovetz, just 10 km from Samokov. On the other side of Rila mtn. are located the 7 Rila lakes.
Clean air, pine woods, beautiful parks, etc.
Go to see for yourself!
What a beautiful country ! Why have we learned about Egypt, Greece, Rome, but nothing about Tracians and Illyrians ! That are European ancestors too. I had no idea there was so much old history in this amazing country. Thank you so much for posting this!
