(Not) My $30M Yacht – in Saint-Tropez

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to San Tropé on the French Riviera. We have a very nice walking tour planned today where we’re just going to explore the waterfront, see some of the yachts, probably grab a little bit of lunch, do a little bit of shopping, and um share all that with you. Um if you’ve never been here before, you are in for a treat. This is one of the most beautiful, one of the most elegant places you can visit. Um not just in the Riviera, but it’s one of my favorites in the world. So, um let’s have some fun. So, we’re starting our day today along the main marina in the center of Sanrope. And this is where you do all the people watching. And just a quick look here. We’re going to get a little closer in. Yachts line the whole waterfront. And the owners sit there and they enjoy lunch. And at night time, it comes alive with action and beauty. And the first yacht we’re coming across. Wow. This is I don’t know how this renders on camera, but this is massive. called the O L I O. I guess it’s the OI. A lot of these yachts you can actually look up online and find who owns them. Sometimes they’re actually owned by companies that just charter them, but other times they’re owned um and rented out by their owners. Here we go. Get off the road. I think we’re the only ones that are walking on the road. Look at this shot right here. Beautiful yachts. It’s a lovely summer day. It’s a Tuesday and I think as you find in the summertime, 7 days a week, everything is busy and that’s just part for the course. It is holiday season, kids are off school. Um, they have these great artists also along the waterfront. Look how cool this one is. Beautiful. Here’s an idea just of what the scene is like. The women are dressed up. Very pretty. Probably Parisians, I would guess. But as you come along the marina, just this is where it all begins. Look, Fort Lauderdale. And one after the next after the next after the next. Pretty impressive, huh? And here they’re watching sports. Georgetown. Like I said, you can look at any name, Tatsu, and you can look up the yacht and see what the see what the deal is. And here’s some vintage sailing boat. And then this is we’re coming we’re coming now to kind of a main central area where you have all the waterfront restaurants, more yachts. Like I said, nighttime. Look at this one. Crazy. Look at this one. It’s called Crazy Me. That is perfectly insane. I’ve never seen a yacht like this. It’s very sleek and it’s occupied. You always wonder who these people are on these yachts. You never quite know. And across the waterfront here you have cafe de bunch of other places here. I think we can walk more into the street because otherwise you have crowds everywhere. So you can see here um just more of that incredible scene and setting. It’s where all the billionaires come to play, but you don’t have to be a billionaire to play here. You can be anybody. You just can’t use one of the yachts. That’s the the only downside. So as we come away from the main harbor front, we have the small streets of Central Pay. A lot of little shops here. If you’re um if you love shopping boutique, summer wear, linens, this is absolutely the place you’re just going to love. Uh they have a Louis Vuitton here. They have a um lacros lacrosse lacost other things as well. So, let’s see where we got. I see the sign there. It says Gabby. So, we’re going to grab a very quick bite. We didn’t have lunch today. So, we’re coming to this place that’s very well known. It’s called Gabby. It’s a sandwich place and they do amazing. Guess what? Baguette sandwiches. Like we never had that before. Quite busy here. But I guess people they have their sandwich and they go. sandwich. Easy. Mac. Whenever it will be ready, I will say Marco. Ready. These ones are a little smaller, but they look delicious. We won’t get super full. And maybe you can get a snack. The bread is made right there in the oven. So, I got Okay, so I’ve had the first half. Now, I’m going to deconstruct what goes in this magnificent sandwich cuz it’s only four basic ingredients. You’ve got the fresh baguette and then inside you have a very nice kind of a shaved ham with that immental cheese uh pickles and lots of butter. The butter comes oozing out into your hands. Try to get that first good bite. number one. All right, sandwich down, sandwich done. Um, it’s insane the amount of people here. So, let’s go back down the waterfront and then we’ll kind of get through this crowd if we can. Boy, when they they warned us it’s going to be busy today. This is like nuts. Everybody’s having drinks. We’re just a few hours away. A little too early at lunchtime for us cuz the big and heavy nights on the ship. But if you’re into people watching, this is the day. This is the day where you see the chic girls, maybe from Paris, maybe from other parts, all dressed beautifully along with tourists with baseball caps and uh t-shirts. The good thing is it’s not brutally hot today. I mean, it was I think it’s probably in the low 70s. So, if it was in close to 100, like it was a malta, we would just be dying. So, even though I’m wearing a dark shirt today, I’m not really spritzing that much. That’s good. There’s always a positive sign to anything, right? So, we are coming out of that side street back into the harbor area. Um, the yachts are still here. I’m going to give you I want you to see a different shot of this one yacht, Crazy Me, because it just it looks kind of like a football. And I think it’s the one that everyone is gawking at more than anything else because of its shape. And I have no idea what a yacht costs. I guess they’re millions and millions and millions of dollars. But let’s see this here. I mean, look at that. That is too wild. I guess the sides open up as well. And you have this one here. Oo. This guy’s serving ice cream. French ice cream is amazing. It’s so creamy. It’s all that I don’t know why. Is it the cows maybe? Butter, cream, milk, ice cream. It’s so much more creamy here and and just really delicious. Um, and I’m fortunately don’t suffer from lactose intolerance, so I’ve got no problem with it at all. Here’s another shot of Here’s another shot of crazy me. Why? I’m noticing security is very tight. They don’t like me filming their ship. But you’re in public, right? And we have more people watching. Pretty girls dressed up on display. I like when people dress to the beach. It’s nice. So, this is a this is a linen store and it’s uh a great place if you want table linens, uh placemats, this is this is the place to come. Me, I like these ones and it’s match with more things that you want to change. And it’s just a little more elegant, too. Yeah, because you you can you can mix it with other colors. Yeah. So, this is where my sister gets all of her goods. And this time, we’re getting a little gift for ourselves. So, I want to thank my sister Cindy for the heads up and uh you have to come to Sanrope just to shop here because it’s a one-of-a-kind store and uh you have to you have to do it in here in person. Thank you so much. You told me from the Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. So, okay, we scored. Now we’re done. I think we’re gonna go back to the ship. It’s a little too crazy. And we basically got what we came for. So, it’s a uh it’s a winning day. Well, that concludes our very successful day in Sanrope. Um we weren’t here long, but just enough time to eat something delicious, buy something scrumptious, and uh get a little overheated with the crowds, but that’s just how it is. So, this is um this is that shop called Marionette Sanrope. Seems to be a pretty big deal. Once again, I want to thank my sister Cindy for hooking me up with that store. They did very well by us and uh they were very popular with everybody else that came into town, I guess, just for linens. So, see you next time.

Ever dreamed of owning a $30 million yacht? I haven’t… until I saw “Crazy Me” docked in Saint-Tropez. Join me as I walk the glamorous marina of this legendary French Riviera town — a place where mega yachts, designer shops, and seaside cafés collide.

I start along the waterfront, admiring boats with billion-dollar views, street artists, and the bustle of summer life. After drooling over “Crazy Me,” I stop for a sandwich at Gaby, a casual local spot serving up fresh baguettes. We finish with a stroll through the iconic Marionette linen shop, full of light, color, and Côte d’Azur charm.

This is real travel, through one of the world’s most exclusive destinations — no fluff, just the vibe, the people, and a guy wondering how to get invited aboard a yacht like that.
