One Perfect Day Trip in Etretat France: Exploring, Eating and Enjoying

Just woke up, having a coffee before taking the road With a friend, we are going to Etretat Etretat is known for its wonderful chalk cliffs and the beach Etretat is in Normandy at about 210km from Paris Let’s go! The weather is perfect Biscuits for breakfast hehe And a brioche It is so nice to be on the road Really excited for the destination but the journey is as exciting France’s landscape is so beautiful And you can stop anywhere you think is interesting But now, the first stop we need is for a coffee It’s still early morning so Mcdonalds is convenient Hot cappucino and a newspaper Great way to recharge Back on the road But we’re going through the city of Rouen So we take this opportunity to stop and have a look On the way to Etretat Can see the ocean far away Arrived in the town of Etretat but finding a parking spot will be difficult here Have to go a little bit further The car fits well with the place Plenty of cars everywhere. It is difficult to find a parking spot Finally we could park the car It’s not the best spot But we can reach the town, cliffs and the beach on foot Ready to explore Not sure it’s this way but everbody go this way We are on the right direction. We can see the church on top of one of the cliff Is it a house? Recommended itinerary We reached the town This is more lively here Many restaurants and shops along the road Beautiful postcards The restaurant looks nice We feel in vacation We arrived at the beach! There are many people along the beach The cliff is incredible Really happy to be here We’ll hike up there later First, we are going on this side and hike this cliff, the Aval cliff The view must be nice from these rooms But before hiking up, need to get some energy This taste good Have to be careful on the cliff Many people going up and coming down Didn’t reach the top yet But the view is already nice The view must be even better from the top We continue this way The hike is ok, not too difficult Going slow and steady Need to be really careful. Already another sign I didn’t expect a gulf field here Could stay for hours just sitting here with this view We arrived at the top! Amazing The view we can have from here worth the effort This is funny, there is some kind of waves shape on the grass This is so big when it’s closer Heading back to the beach Oh a helicopter just arrived and is heading to the top of the other cliff Hope nobody is injured We are now going to the other cliff, the Amont cliff There are many restaurants along the beach Another sign of danger Found the entrance for the top Same as the other cliff It’s tiring but slowly and steady and you are almost at the top Incredible from here too Didn’t expect to see cows here Which viewpoint you prefer? From here (Amont cliff) or from the previous cliff (Aval cliff)? Heading to the beach to rest a little bit After the two hikes Relaxing on the beach is pure joy Etretat is quite famous for gulf apparently We are leaving Etretat but not going back to Paris right now As it is not too far from Etretat, we are going to Le Havre city This is apparently the narrowest house in the world Can’t see clearly inside Even the stairs are narrow Would you like to live in a house like that? We are heading to the beach of Le Havre The beach looks nice This is perfect, it’s sunset time Many people are enjoying the beach on their own way Really relaxing to be here The atmosphere is different with the sunset There is even a skatepark The moon just at the top of the tower It was a nice day in Etretat and Le Havre We hope you guys enjoyed the travel in Normandy See you in the next one 🙂
