Thousands of tourists visit every year just to take a photo here. It truly feels like stepping into the Middle Ages. The most famous photo corner. You’ll often come across street concerts in the afternoon. Known as “Little Venice,” the city was built on seven hills by the Regnitz River. The city of Bamberg was ruled by princes of the German Empire. Its medieval structures host romantic atmospheres throughout the city. With its canals, breathtaking views, and natural beauty, It feels like a city straight out of a fairytale. It was untouched during World War II. I recommend visiting this place, famous for its smoked beer. Bamberg has the highest beer consumption in Germany—300 liters per person annually. My camera gear is attracting a lot of attention… Bamberg has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1993. This Catholic church was opened in 1693. This cathedral opened in 1002. We’ll visit the interior soon. Because of prayer inside, tourist visits started at 1:00 PM. I forgot to adjust the camera for low-light conditions.
