Should YOU Visit Luxor? Egypt

Is Luxor safe to visit? What are the hotels like? What can I visit?
In this video, I will give you my guide to why you should visit Luxor!
Luxor is a city on the east bank of the Nile River in southern Egypt. It’s on the site of ancient Thebes, the pharaohsโ€™ capital at the height of their power, during the 16thโ€“11th centuries B.C. Today’s city surrounds 2 huge, surviving ancient monuments: graceful Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, a mile north. The royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens are on the riverโ€™s west bank.

  1. The food, especially the dessert at the end of the video! you talk about best hotels in the town, why it is the cheepest and the yukkiest? I know this kind of desserts because I am an Arab.. it is dry and yukky as hell.. the cleanliness also is anotherr chapter.
But still, Egypt and Egyptians are magnificent!

  2. The balloon ride, and the valley of the kings looked amazing, as did the art work inside the tombs. Was not expecting it to be so beautiful inside.๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š I will definitely get there some day.

  3. You weren't up for long. A real pity. the biggest basket I've ever seen. 15 minutes isn't long enough to have enjoyed the ride. to many people (too heavy) in the basket? That flight would have been the highlight of Luxor. Other countries try to regulate mozzies breeding cycles, keeping the numbers down.

  4. it"s worth to book a real (private) tour guide. We booked a two day trip from Hurghada to luxor with baloon trip, hotel, private car and private guide in most famos temples and valley of tomb. So interesting to undersrand that ancient culture a bit more. Yes its worth the struggle with scammers and so on. If you come to egypt see luxor! There is nothing on earth anywhere else!

  5. Mostly ice made from unfiltered water.. Ice machines require regular maintenance, and the water filter on the ice machine needs servicing. If it's not done every 12 months, the ice becomes contaminated.

  6. Ahhh the Egyption tummy.. been there 3 times.. it's the local water in the ice, and the water they use to clean the salats, fruits and veggies.

  7. I did the Nile cruise in 2006. Almost everyone on the ship suffered from Egyptian stomach, apart from me. Sat down with the Egyptologist one evening and he pointed out a very good reason why I was spared; alcohol. It was all inclusive, but I donโ€™t drink alcohol. The heat and the affect of alcohol on the body cause stomach upsets, which causes loss of appetite. The ships will make omelettes to order that you can have in your cabin to encourage you to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, even eating street food with the Egyptologist when docked up in Luxor which was fantastic.

  8. Interesting place I would go see if it was in a different country all the beggars and extra costs would be upsetting. 10/10 to the aliens who did all this great vid thanks ๐Ÿ™

  9. Itโ€™s the ice . Meningitis is what you need to be carful about and is easy as just a spoon ln a water dip for the ice cream ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
