So, you guys, what we have here is called uh tomato steel. Uh very common dish in Nigeria. Um something similar to what the Filipinos have here as uh just, you know, a different vibe, but this is tomatoes too basically. the red bell peppers, the red onion, you know. Yeah. You mix it up all together and you have a very flavorful dish. You pair this together with some white rice. Inside there, you have some chicken, drumsticks, and then some beef. Yeah, that’s it for the tomato stew. Wow. Inside mine, I do go in with some curry powder, you know, a little bit of thyme here and there. And that’s just it. Amazing. Crazy. Thank you so much. Yeah. Let’s see the next one. Let’s go. So far we got the dish here. So the seasoned fish, Cameroon influenced dish and we got the tomato stew Nigerian influenced dish. Two countries, one from central Africa and one from West Africa right here. So you guys, I’m about to grade. I’m about to gra. Yeah. So here you go. Um this is called kati kati. So kati kati chicken is just basically a style of grilled chicken that we invented here in Phoenix restaurant more on the Filipino side. We are Afroofusion restaurant. So I mean something to give the people relatability to their own culture is very important. So that’s what we’ve done here. You see the white rice, the grilled kachi kachi chicken, um some sauteed spinach and cherry tomato with some spices and then you have also the potato chips. That’s just the dish. Trust me, this chicken is very flavorful. It looks simple, but it’s amazing. You just want to give it a try. Let’s go. So, I’m back again, guys. Yeah. So, um this will be the last snack for the night. Um this is called Chakalaka Sliders. Um one of the inventions here at Phoenix Resto Bar. While I joined Phoenix, I made these stuffs in the kitchen and it’s amazing. Like these are mini burgers, if I must say. They’re just flavorful. I mean, it’s simple but flavorful. Anytime you’re around Makati, just come around. Come to Phoenix restaurant here in Mati. You should try our chakalaka sliders. They are the best. Chakalaka. Yeah, it’s our fusion at the end of the day. Here at Phoenix restaurant. What we’ve done is just beef patties. So, and then with a quick melt cheese and then um you have a special sauce, a special pepper sauce which we call the chakalaka relish. We use as a topping just to give it a distinctive flavor. Enjoy. You can see these are the dishes that we have for tonight. Um I would really love to see a lot of you guys come around. Come check us out. Phoenix Resto located in the city of Makati. Uh green onions to about parsley fusion with sauces. Just look at it. Look at the blend. It looks really del. Let me just take a try to see how it tastes. It’s really delicious. Marinated with different flavors of hot spice. So, this is all chili paste. Chili, ginger, garlic, and that’s it. And then you got the fish. Come on in here. Let’s just show you guys the fish. Look at that huge piece of fish. I’m going to do right now. First things first, we’re going to just dig into the fish, you guys. And we’re going to start from the very top. Delicious. So, it’s been cooked perfectly. It’s grilled. Grilled with the spices, marinated. So, it’s been marinated first. But this is a Cameroonian influenced dish. All my Cameroonians, if you’re watching, we’re here in the Philippines, you guys. Let’s take a first bite. Rich, rich. It’s lots of flavor inside. You guys could just see you have all of this sauce, the skin really marinated. And I’m going to take one more bite closeup. Really delicious. Grab the plantain. And I’m going to mix it now with the sauce. Starting with the very first sauce. This is a beautiful. And you know what thing I like most of the dishes depending on the dish you get here. They’re going to come with these fusions of sauces. So they’re like kind of like compliments with your dishes. Um and just just check out. So this is the green. One of my favorite parts cuz I love vegetables. I love green vegetables and it’s a fusion of different green vegetables in one. Come on. [Music] Feel the healthiness in the vegetables. Awesome. That’s what I’ll say. Proud. Just check it. See that? I’ll show you guys the next one. The popular sliders. Chef said it’s one of his favorite because the sliders are really delicious. This is a South African influence. As he said, it has some of the apple seasonings. Check this out. Time to take a bite. Ready? Look at this, you guys. Delicious slider, you guys. Freshly made, seasoned to perfection. You guys see that? Incredibly delicious. So, this is a Filipino style dish, but keep in mind it’s fusion with a little bit of the African influence, but mostly dominant Filipino here at the restaurant. I want to get right into it. Beautifully designed dish. Not only does it have fresh chicken, also the vegetables with rice, classic rice here in the Philippines, um on as your side. And we’re going to get right into you guys with no time to waste right now. Grilled well marinated chicken. Most of the dishes here, every dish here is well seasoned. Kati kati. Take a bite right now. [Music] very rich in taste with just healthy. I believe this is spinach or kale, you know, to fill the the plate beautifully. I assumed it was going to be sweet, but it’s actually a salty base. The rice, fresh rice, it has potatoes also. Love this, you guys. I love the chicken, the way it’s marinated. Look at this. Look at the color. Look at how it’s been cooked, grilled well, marinated well. You can see it’s been marinated for some time. Just take a bite. Really delicious, you guys. Got one more piece of that chicken. Look at that chicken texture. Look at that. Look at that color. Wow. Delicious dish. Let’s go on to the next one, you guys, real quick.
