[4K] European Vulture? Really? Gorges du Tarn Hides the Truth! (videoturysta.eu)
High above the cliffs of Gorges du Tarn, vultures ride the thermal winds. These majestic scavengers are among Europe’s largest birds of prey. Four species can be seen here: Griffon, Cinereous, Egyptian, and Bearded Vulture. Reintroduction programs in the Grands Causses have brought them back to these skies. The Griffon Vulture is the most common, with wingspans up to 2.65 meters. Cinereous Vultures are rarer but are Europe’s heaviest flying birds. Egyptian Vultures migrate here in spring and summer, recognizable by their white plumage. Bearded Vultures feed mainly on bones, dropping them to break them open. Maison des Vautours offers observation decks and live nest cameras. From Point Sublime to Roc de Hourtous, the views are unforgettable. Thermal winds between late morning and early afternoon give the best chances to see them. Feeding stations provide safe food, helping the vultures survive year-round. Their role in cleaning nature prevents the spread of disease. Conservation efforts protect nests and reduce power line accidents. Gorges du Tarn is now a world-class birdwatching destination. Wildlife photographers come from all over Europe to capture these soaring giants. The Bearded Vulture’s bone-dropping is one of nature’s rarest behaviors. Visit in summer for warm weather and the most active flights. In winter, sightings are fewer, but the scenery remains spectacular. Birdwatching here combines nature, history, and local culture. Plan your visit responsibly and respect the protected areas. More info here: https://videoturysta.eu/gorges-du-tarn-vultures.html Thank you for watching! Please subscribe, like, and share this video.

🙂🙂 pozdrawiam.

Sympatyczne ptasiory. Naturalni czyściciele w świecie przyrody. Nie wiedziałem, że żyją także w Europie. 🤓
